ChasePlane Support

Just purchased chaseplane. It crashes randomly (after a couple of minutes) when I have my logitech extreme 3d pro joystick plugged in. Any ideas? So I just bought Chaseplane yesterday and I did everything correct including finding my flight sim directory and going through the installation, but when I launched my game, chaseplane couldn't find the sim. I tried this process about 5 times but again, no connection to the sim. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks - Brady Matlock

Hey There!I need help with some 'bugs'.The First is the middle mouse botton doesn't work!I try everything , but nothing change ! Hi, I've noticed a strange issue popping up with p3d v4.1 when panning with the mouse. Panning around causes a lot of lag and it seems like the screen hangs for a second. Switching between presets works fine, its just the panning which induces this. It sets in after a few minutes after sim is loaded, initially it works fine. Closing chaseplane and restarting temp fixed it until it happens again. running latest V0.3.0166 build. Thanks! Regards, Mark

Having random disconnects while in sim. It usually clears up by itself but how long it takes is also random. While disconnected I can't pan or switch views and the only way to do so is by opening the UI and selecting the preset. This doesn't "reconnect" ChasePlane however. Have tried running at default affinity and set affinities but it makes no difference. This is on top of the other issues I'm having which are laggy and sluggish panning/camera switching but I can live with those. Losing camera control during takeoff or landing is a no go unfortunately.

Hi guys maybe someone can help me out. Chase Plane worked fine with PMDG 747 After the update something went wrong. When i change to the pilot view, always the autopilot disconnect I checked everything Installed PMDG 747 new Installed Chase plane new Checked double functions on the keyboard Anyone the same problem or any ideas.

1. Impossible camera movement. E.g. First camera position is a look of the pilot over his left shoulder to the left back side of the wing. Second camera position is a look of the pilot over his right shoulder to the right back side of the right wing. Switching with soft movement between these two cameras results in an impossible movement. The camera doesn't move via the front panel but via the back of the pilot. Such a movement can only make a robot-pilot. There should be an additional option to block the movement via a certain wall (back of the pilot). 2. Hi, I was at Cosford and saw your presentation. Being a massive fan of the TFDi 717, but wanting a better way of viewing the overhead and pedestal quickly, Chase Plane got me rather interested. I bought it the day after, and set about remaking the views for the 717. As fate would have it, my main SSD that ran P3D and OS decided to eat itself a while later. Do you think it possible to include a voice control feature with chaseplane? You know, switching between cameras by saying 'pilot', 'chase', 'pedestal'. Hello, I'm looking for a bit of help... I have tried three different brands and models of mice and, unfortunately, none of them have a working middle mouse double click feature. This means that I cannot use it to activate the In-Sim view menus or use it for the mouse look feature. However, it is obvious many of you do have a working mouse with a middle button (scroll wheel) double click. I don't want to purchase many different brands of mice, only to find out they also do not work... Since the last Alpha update and then the Beta update the virtual cockpit in P3d v4 is glitching all over the place. It's as if Chaseplane keeps losing connection to the Trackir signal. I've rolled back out to v02.121 Alpha and everything is fine again. I can recreate this bug everytime by updating to the latsest build.

Hello, Whenever I load up my Prepar3d V3.4 I load up in to the cub, then in to the PMDG 737 (any aircraft) loads in fine, as soon as I touch the hot key, Prepar3d has stopped working. The report on AppCrash View keeps saying something about StackHash_bcda. I have googled it to no avail. Whenever I hold the middle mouse button and change I can change views fine, whenever I click through the program it works fine, It's only when I use my hotkeys. Please help, Adam Quinn

Hi, Firstly I would like to say that I'm very impressed with the program so far and its only in Alpha stage. Just wondering if there is a touchdown landing effect (like a jolt, depending on how hard you touchdown)?? If there is I can't seem to get it working. I installed ChasePlane in P3Dv4.1 to investigate a fault reported by a LINDA user. Now I can not disable it and recover my normal Virtual Cockpit view of the outside world. I have disabled auto-launch in preferences but I still have the view Cockpit showing On-board (ChasePlane). I need to be able to remove all ChasePlane features for my normal flying and support work.

I was just wondering - for those of us using multiple windows in a home cockpit setup - would it be possible to have Chaseplane control those viewpoints separately as well as the main window? it would be nice to have a second or even third screen whose view could be changed without losing the primary screen view.. I have problems with asigning POV to Pan View when Chaseplane is installed. It wont work. If I uninstall Chaseplane I can assign my CH POV to Pan View in P3DV4.1. I use an Xbox controller in Chaseplane but there are no conflicts as far as I can see. Earlier this worked for me to have both the POV asigned to Pan View in P3D and Pan Left/right (Xb-RSX) and Tilt up/down (Xb-RSY) via Xbox in Chaseplane /Thomas

I've searched the forums and the manual, but I can't out how to activate the In-Sim View of the Chaseplane interface... How do I do this?

I've noticed in my pilot view the curser will not work. I have to go to another view like co-pilot for it to work. I can see the curser but can't work the switches. The problem has been noticed in PMDG and a2a so far.

I've activated Mouse Look and Scroll Zoom via Advanced features in one of my preset views. Works well until I need to adjust altitude or nav radios', etc. Is there a way to toggle them on and off when in such situations?

If I select HDR on with Chaseplane running I get an almost complete whiteout on all views - as though all brightness and bloom is at maximum. Hardly any detail is visible. Changing the siders has no effect. This only happens with Chaseplane operating. Do you have any ideas/Fixes, please? (This is not using Beta). Regards, Brit
