ChasePlane Support

Hello, Just purchased the product and so far been enjoying learning all the ins and outs. I had a question about the ALT Menu Bar popping up when selecting certain preset Views, or when switching from inside to outside. Is this just an issue I have to live with or is there a way around this? It happens for me whether or not I am in windowed or full-screen. I am using FSX/Accel running DirectX10. Any help is much appreciated thanks, Crash.

Last week, maybe after an update, I suddenly could'nt view the 2-d cockpit in my PMDG aircrafts (737 ngx and 777) and A320 from FSLabs when I press F10, which is my normal keyassigment. The 2-d cockpit is visible for 1 second and then an outside view is coming on. I have tried reassigning F10 to 2-d cockpit inside FSX controels without any luck. What have happened? Mb view selector fs labs a 320. Doesnt work. When pressing middle mouse button, no effect.

How can I change the Speed and Inertia of my Yoke's HAT Switch? It is assigned via the Control Assignments page to Tilt up/down and Pan left/right. Thanks in advance. Markus

Every single last update I have to REASSIGN keys to my exterior views. I usually use CTRL + 1, 2, and on. Now after this latest "update" I have yet again, to assign key commands. I think Keven, you're taking a program that I LOVED and RUINING IT!!!!! Why can't you send me a version where S & A and the stinking SPACE bar works, in fact ALL of the stinking LM assignments work and let me be. I DO NOT LIKE THESE CHANGES!!!! This was PERFECT, now it's a bloody NIGHTMARE!!!!! Pretty soon I'll have to uninstall, get EZCA and write in as many forums as I can to NOT buy this program!!!!!!!!!

Hi all, I got excited today for the new update, especially for the 2-4x performance improvement claim. I also see many people reporting how happy they are, and this is great. However, to my system (signature), I don't have a stutter free mouse panning experience. I know its not my sim problem because with EZdok I have completely smooth panning and transitions. Not a single stutter 99% of the times. I can see in the Task Manager that the CPU usage has been reduced, though there are still spikes to 1.5 - 1.8%. I get microstutters not only when panning around but also in the aircraft's movement that to my eyes, ruin the fluidity. Maybe I'm too picky with stutters, I…

Hello guys, Just wanted to report that on my machine, this build seems to have introduced some stuttering on outside and cinematic views. It may be my hardware is limited, but I did not have this on any of your previous builds. Thanks again for your work on this great addon.

Hi Keven, I've had CP for a couple of weeks, all good up until now. Spent a bit of time yesterday setting hot corners for various aircraft. Started the sim this morning and CP popped up the "Something unexpected happened" box. Using the latest experimental version 0.4.73. I managed to access the preferences window before the program quit so I could change back to the standard version. That version will start and run fine, but if I swap back to 0.4.73 it will crash again. As an experiment, I disabled the 'net connection so CP was forced to start off-line, and then it loaded and worked fine. Re-enabling the internet connection and CP crashes on load again. …

Not sure what is going on but need some help. My view keeps changing automatically when flying the PMDG 777-200LR. This didn't happen until after the last few experimental updates of ChasePlane. No other aircraft does this that I have tested so far. Looking at ChasePlane On-Board Presets: I've selected my first camera labeled "PIC". On the main screen, I then go to the Menu Bar and I select Options. As I start to mouse down, the view changes automatically to the my camera view "Overhead" each and every time. This happens if I choose any of the selections on the Menu Bar. I've uninstalled/re-installed PMDG 777-200 and Chaseplane with same results.…

Maybe this is not important to a lot of people but if I buy a product I want to fully own it. Having my profiles exclusively in the cloud is not my idea of ownership. Plus, the other day my ISP was down and I could not use CP . . . Is this something that could potentially happen ? Thanks

Hi, since the last update my TrackIR stops working during the flight. This is not bound to any event in the a/c or some specific action. I then either have to restart TrackIR or CP. Thanks Peter

great idea by FSFX to make this feature have (Replay), but i really need vibra effect and immersion, so i hope this first come out next update. thanks FSFX

Heya, I'm LOVING the 0.4 update - but I had an idea for Hot Corners, is it possible to make an option to disable them from changing when at an external view? I find it awkward sometimes when I'm looking around at the external view *holding down the space bar* and moving the mouse to the edge too far and having it jump back to the inside. When I create camera settings it doesnt save key or buttons , so after restart chaseplane I have to do it again. Only 747 BCF can saves, but no so good as all planes. Now when I try to save new presets , it saves, but after restart all new presets are without keys. Help, please.

Hey guys, new to CP and have fiddled with it for a few days now. Imported some of my existing EzDok profiles, downloaded some user created ones right from the CP UI. I haven't found, nor have I been able to tweak to my liking the head movement in response to aircraft roll, vibration, g force etc. The subtle head motions from flaps, spoilers, a firm touchdown, taxiing quick, turbulence, is still something I miss and have fiddled but haven't recreated yet. Has anyone tailored one or made a preset that is available to try, or is there a video guide, or written guide on doing this? I am aware that you cannot import the vibration profiles of EzDOk otherwise this wo…

Hi I have the latest experimental version of C.P and whenever I move me mouse pointer to any of the hotcorners it immediately crashes C.P with the error box about sending a report to C,P.It was working yesterday before it updated this morning with the only problem being that it would not activate the bottom centre view. Anyone else seeing the same problem? Regards M.Hamilton

Am thinking of buying CP, however I have scratchy internet access so I don't want to purchase if you need a constant online connection. Does the new version solve the problem for me? Do you need an internet connection just to start CP? Thanks John

I am using the latest beta version. I am noticing that the Mousehweel sometimes gets stuck where it won’t disengage the middle wheel look/pan. The other issue I am having is that quite often it continually will not respond on a window change. It only fixes it if I cntrl + tab chase plane back into view. Other than that thank you for the update.

Just started P3D v4.1 and ChasePlane v0.4.52.0 is not starting. It opens a box stating it is reverting back to stable settings, which it never does. I uninstalled and reinstalled including the latest beta and get the same result. Here is the error log created. Hi guys, Purchased CP 0.4 last night, set the cameras for three acft, all went well, using P3D 4.1, but when launched CP again this morning, this annoying message (below) popped up and CP is not working any more. Hi guys, I really like the new beta version with the hot corners but could it be possible to setup a sensitivity or a "thickness" of the corners assigned? If I open the FMC-pop up, I already reach the corners when I click on "CLR" which is like 1cm away from the corner. It would be nice to have maybe a slider to adjust the corners with a grey overlay and that you see how thick the corners are. Otherwise - really really nice made! Good job :)

Good day guys. First of all thanks very much for the replay function it’s awesone to have in the sim and for free. My issue is with the 777 and 747 on replay. When I press pause in the sim after landing, to play back my landing, all is good. But when I want to resume my flight to go and park at the gate I’m stuck on the runway the plane will not move. It’s like the brakes are on but they’re not. If you can look into this issue it would be great thanks!
