Will chaseplane ever be compatible with flyinside? Or the other way around. I feel that P3dv4.1 VR is much better than 4.0 but it’s still flickering in the left eye so much it’s painful for any length of time. But with flyinside I can fly any airplane with better smoothness. However I can’t utilize any thing in chase plane due to the cameras.cfg files need to be customized by both flyinside and chaseplane. Or maybe a longer shot would be to see if LM continues to improve the VR experience further so it’s on par with flyinside and that we can use menus in vr. Keven - I occasionally need to switch my simulator into slew mode to reposition on an airport or examine new scenery. Noticed that my Chaseplane views won't change when P3D4 is in slew mode. Is that normal ? Couldn't find anything in the FAQ/manual or any posts here about it. ChuckO

I just recently enabled the 'experimental version' switch to get the replay feature. This worked one time. Today, when I launched P3d, and Chaseplane started, I got a message that says ' Chaseplane cannot find the auto updater. Could be from an instance of Chaseplane already running (there isn't). Try restarting the computer' I restart the computer and get the same prompt, and Chaseplane does not launch. I also launched the VFX manager, it does not find any problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi guys, First thank you for your excellent software. I just buy and tried it, awesome software, obviously ! I have no problem with key assignent, FX etc, but for some reason, the camera changing randomly during cruise (from inboard VC to outside view and its changing from 1 angle to another automatically). It seems like there is a setting somewhere to stop this but I can't find it. Can you help? Thank you.

Ok, perhaps this and the following have been addressed in the latest build, but if not here are my issues: (P3dv4 and P3dv3.4.22) Chase Plane stops responding after no movement in cockpit. I noticed this a lot when I leave the sim over 30 mins Chase Plane automatically changes views without my input after 15 to 20 mins. Is there a way to stop /deactivate this behavior?

I am getting the error message that CP can't access this cfg file on start. I am running the program as an administrator...

Like many other I use SimStarterNG to launch P3D and then launch various addons including ChasePlane. I have SimStarterNG configured so it doesn't launch CP until P3D is ready. That means aircraft at a gate at an airport. That works fine but the problem starts when I exit P3D. Because CP will only terminate after P3D I keep getting a message than CP has stopped working after I have exited P3D. I press the option to close it. But it would be better if some allowance could be made so CP can close in an orderly way. Anyone have any suggestions? Maybe having detected P3D has closed it could keep running for x seconds so SimStarterNG can then close it.

After having a PC crash due to Windows 10 version 1709 I had to rebuild my PC. Added back in my favorite add-on but I noticed two issues. 1. Even though CP brings back all my Presets for the various aircraft - it does not maintain the button action. So for instance Button B29 is listed for Pilot View but for it to work I have to re-assign that button. So I now have to go through every button assignment for every aircraft. Is there not an ini file or some file that can be reloaded? 2. Not as important but my preset Middle Mouse Button View (MB View) does not always activate when I press it steady also when it does display when you click on the down arrow in …

Hello, There is an issue with the Chaseplane replay system. When slowing down the playback speed to 0.5 or 0.25, the simulator sim rates are not slowed down to the correct speed. In case the devs didn't know, the 'half speed' and 'slowest' simrates in fsx/p3d slow the simulator down to 0.75 and 0.5 respectively (it is misleading I know). Slowing down the Chaseplane playback speed to 0.5 will set the simrate to 'half speed' which is a speed of 0.75, and the same issue happens when setting the playback speed to 0.25 in Chaseplane. I have got Chaseplane installed and pretty much figured out and loving it. However, this TrackIR issue with it shaking is getting annoying, especially since this program is supposed to be TrackIR supported. I had the issue initially from purchase, read the forums and fixed it by Deleting my Cameras.cfg file, deleting Chaseplane and Deleting my Track IR and NaturalPoint drivers and files. Then reistalled everthing and all was working fine. I also made sure that only simconnect.manifest.cp_bkp and simconnectSP2.manifest.cp_bkp were present in the TrackIR file. I restarted my computor last night and now it is shaking again. I have done the above steps over and over and…

Hi, just curious..got the old trackir out of the cabinet. Have always struggled with setting it up. With Chaseplane settings, do I still need to set up trackir in the program itself with the head movement and all the other stuff. It really is not user friendly and to watch various youtube movies....most of the are not shown in a more user friendly or easy to follow format. Anyway, you get the point, I guess..lol. Hi CP team, can you give me a quick fix or adjustment for when the updates occur for transitions? Some views (regardless of aircraft) transition properly while others jump to the next position, even though the transition speed is the same as the functioning ones. Hopefully, I'm explaining the problem properly! Let me also say sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere :(.

chase olane does not open in future updates from version 0.4.80 but now it has been updated in version o.4.88 but when opening the send log file the screen freezes and does not open please solve

HI all, I'm currently using Ezdok V1 and remember that when I first set it up, I had to go into FSX settings and delete any keyboard assignment that related to views. I'm really interested in moving over to Chaseplane and am quite happy to completely uninstall Ezdok so that I get a fresh install with the new program. My question is, does Chaseplane reset all my FSX keyboard keys to default or is something that I still have control over? The reason I ask is because probably some key assignments I'd still like to keep. Keep up the good work Keven if you are reading this. Since I have chaseplane I suddenly have blurries and the PMDG planes look like I can see the interior from the outside view. Very strange graphics such as holes in the cockpit from the outside. I tries to take a screenshot but could not attach it in the post. I nevertheless would appreciate any help. Thanks

Just updated to 0.4.82. When adjusting a camera setting I normally used tye 'V' icon in the menu bar to update the current preset. Now it adds a preset without updating the one I was using. This is annoying because you have to delete the original preset. If you are not aware of this error and you press the icon multiple times you end up with a list of new presets.

Sorry but i have to say this the new build destroy everything on my presets! Than i have a lot of outsideviews i don't need. Left wing, right wing...via button S and one of my joysticbuttons. I never had this before. ???? Max

I read earlier that there should be a new update in Novemver that will ensure dramatically the performance. Is this update rolled out already because I can still see some lags when paning around the aircraft, things I did not see with EZDOK... Thank you Greg

Hi I just updated to 4.82 and I cannot get my joystick assignments to work my views.I have unbound them and tried re- binding them but nothing is working.I have also tried the alt tab metod.No luck.My mouse panning is also not working.

Hi all, my problem is that every time i end - or better - stop a replay my AC get's ported around 50nm from the last position. It happens in a circular random pattern around my last position and now the clue - i was never at this position during the flight: So Chaseplane isn't putting me like 1 minute back or something. Further sometimes i have a speed wich nearly equals the speed during flight. Any ideas?

Hi I am really frustrated with chaseplane. Panning is almost impossible, there is a very big lag when moving the camera. It works like I have a very poor performance but the problem is happening with 30 fps, with any aircraft (pmdg 777 for example) and in any scenario. The problem get worst when I close chaseplane and open it again. Its like the problem get worst 2x any time I restart. The effect is like I haver 5 fps. I have tried everything and make some tests.
