ChasePlane Support

Hi, I have problems at startup of Chase Plane, It goes into a timeout. Internet connection to other sources is fine. I am currently on the beta but can´t switch back because it won´t start. Any tips? Thanks in advance. Kind Regards

I have had trouble starting CP again if I close Prepar3D v4 after a flight then start it again for a new flight. Prepar3Dv4 would start but not CP - even if I tried to start CP via the Windows startmenu outside of Prepar3D. I could only get CP to start again when Prepar3D started, if I shut down and re started my computer. Today, after experiencing the same issue when starting Prepar3D some 30 mins after my previous flight, I had the same CP fail to start issue. I decided to start the windows Task Manager and noticed the CP was still running as a background process even though I had stopped Prepar3D v4 as mentioned, some 30 mins prior. Hi All, I have ChasePlane (obviously!!), a Saitek Pro Yoke and Throttle Quadrant (plus other panels and an extra TQ) and use the fantastic Spad.NEXT to control these. Does anybody else have this setup? And would you mind sharing how to setup. I would like to use Mode 2 or 3 to control ChasePlane and leave Mode 1 for Spad.NEXT Cheers Harry

I just transitioned over from FSX boxed edition to FSX:SE. I set up Chaseplane to open with FSX:SE. When FSX:SE opens I get a box that basically says do you want to open Chaseplane. I click OK. So Chaseplane opens as it normally would and I go into an airplane to make adjustments and whenever I click anywhere on Chaseplane FSX:SE goes to minimize. Now I can't see what I'm doing to make adjustments. I jjust can't keep FSX:SE from going to minimize when in the Chaseplane set up. Can someone please help me out? Hi, New user of ChasePlane--love the capabilities of this programme. I have purchased an "Xbox Controller for Windows" controller. It tests perfectly OK in Win 10 device manager straight out of the box. When setting this up with ChasePlane all the buttons are easily assignable to views etc and are reported in the ChasePlane as "GameController for Windows" during assignment-- so no problems there. However all the Axis on the controller are reported as "Jetmax Throttle" in the ChasePlane assignment window and are unassignable. (I do have a Jetmax Throttle attached in my sim) I cannot detect any assignments for these axis in FSUIPC or in Options/Controls …

i have recently started using chaseplane and i loved it but the one thing i miss is a profile setting in preferences. i use a Saitek yoke for my Boeing aircraft and other types that use a yoke. i also use the hotas x56 for my Airbus aircraft of aircraft that use a stick instead of the yoke. so every time i fly on of those types i need to switch the pov settings in chaseplane because it is controller based. if a profile option could be added then i could use both control types instead of having to reassign my POV. with regards,

Hi, I keep getting a 'seriel number was already activated' error every time i i try to put the number into VFXcentral and cannot receive my product. I've paid for it and recieved the conformation email with the seriel number but it does not give me the product. Is there anything i can do about this? Thanks in advance!

I mentioned this about a month or so ago (not sure of the time frame) but it was around the time I made the move to P3d v4. This only relates to the PMDG 737NGX. My CP views for the PMDG 777 and the PMDG 747 are smooth - easy to adjust - and make me glad I went with CP in the first place. Now to the frustration. I have about 9-10 views set up for the PMDG 737 and with 2-3 of them my hat switch does not work. With the other views - the hat switch works. I have no complaints about support as when I first reported this issue (I thought all the views did not have a working hat switch) I got lots of suggestions and quick replies to my posts. Greetings, I have been using chase plane in P3d v 3 and have been very happy. In P3d v 3 I was able to open a 2d panel and then switch view and the panel would stay open. I just switched to P3d v 4 and I am now not able to do that. So if I open say the MCD in 2d and then switch to the overhead panel the 2d panel will close. Maybe I changed something when I changed to P3d v 4 but I thought all my settings were the same so maybe someone could help and point me in the right direction to fix what ever I did to mess this up. I have three sims, FSX, P3D v 3.4 and P3D v 4.1 on the same computer running Win 10 build 1709. I use Ezdock v1 with FSX. All ok. P3D v 3.4 and P3D v 4.1 only with the native viewing system, which is actually quite good/enough. One year ago I bought Chase Plane and now I want to install it BUT ONLY FOR USE WITH P3D V 3.4 to test it. ? IS THIS POSSIBLE WITHOUT DESTROYING THE SETTINGS/CONTROLS/KEYASSIGNMENTS ON FSX AND P3D V 4.1? We are still doing beta testing with Chase Plane and version 1.0 is still TBA. ? Hi, Recently, when I pause TrackIR, the camera at the Captains position (PMDG 737) is not reset to be looking directly forward as per my Preference settings? Bill Clark

I absolutely love this product. I have had to revert to non experimental as my view wouldnt change using the shortcuts. The other issue im currently having also is when i use the middle mouse button to pan around the view looks straight to floor and then i start to pan and click middle and again it moves to floor Are there fixes u guys know about for my 2 issues thanks

As the title describes with the latest BETA which I updated too after having the Mouse rubber banding back to the bottom of the cabin. With this build the mouse wheel sometimes fails to respond, or it stays stuck in pan mode no matter how many times I click the middle mouse wheel to get out of it. Hi, I just bought and installed the Q400, I set it up with the ECS files from EZDOK from when I had it installed in FSX and P3D3.4. Everything works fine except for some very exaggerated movement when I taxi, if I move the tiller to the left or right the whole cockpit rolls to the extreme left or right. I went through every CP setting and can't figure out how to stop this or minimize it. Using the latest experimental version in P3Dv4.1. Thanks for any suggestions or help.

I get this message when starting P3D v4, "multiple simulator entries in the registry are pointing same direction" I have p3d v3 and v4. ¿How I can fix it? Thanks for your help Rubén

This is new, it just started a couple of days ago, about 50% of the time when I bring up the CP interface with the middle mouse button the buttons stay on the screen till I minimize the CP camera panel. Anyone else see this? Thanks.

Hi, I have been watching this Chase plane forum & reading the comments before I bought the program. I also watched about 4 different you tube tutorials to see where I was going after install. I must say that after doing 1 aircraft that this was simply very easy to use, much more so than the other camera program which I had been using for many years. The interface is really easy to use & the camera controls are superb, I haven't gone into the preferences yet other than assigning some buttons & keys to different view functions. Is it possible or will it be possible to use the Saitek Pro Yoke Modes within ChasePlane? I would like to assign a number of buttons/switches on both the yoke and quadrant in Mode 1 to Chaseplane and assign other Sim functions to the same buttons/switches in Modes 2 & 3

I love Chaseplane, so I have two suggestions, in case anyone is interested. 1. Add generic cockpit sounds. I think hearing the rattling on runway when I'm flying a bush plane, or the plasticky cracks on modern airliners would be a hoot. 2. A way to create new cameras on undock windows where only the VC is loaded. It will help on the frames, and those who don't have expensive hardware, so we can simply move the undocked window to the other monitor. Maybe even a special UI location for this?

Hi, Does anyone here use ChasePlane with a Home Cockpit build? The obvious interior views are therefore not needed but are the much improved outside views worth the purchase price?

Hi, Using P3D v4.1. When I start p3d, my default view is the pilot position. Lately for some reason when p3d starts, the camera position is at the left gear fairing (or skirt) looking forward and not in the cockpit. The camera will move in the direction of my presets but that's all. It won't actually go to my preset positions. After the sim goes through the "Adjusting Scenery Objects" the view may or may not go to the Pilot position. If it doesn't, I have to select another airplane which corrects the problem. I've changed default airplanes but the problem remains. Don't know what I may have changed to cause this problem but I admit It could be the big nut beh…

When I load the Majestic Dash 8 (64 bit) CP warns me that some things just don't work with it. But I have come to rely on TrackIR running through chaseplane but even that is not working with the Dash8 Does anyone know if this is something that will be fixed soon? Thanks
