ChasePlane Support

v0.3.x has been working on my P3D v4 64bit without any problem for me for some months now and I'm very happy with it. Few weeks ago I flipped the setting to install v0.4.x and then my troubles began. After aprox 20-25 mins running the camera starts to move in slow motion. First I thought it was some problem with my TrackIR so I've disabled it, restart everything and used only mouse control of the camera.....same problem....after 25 mins the camera start moving laggy and chaseplane program window starts to act inactive. To test my theory if it's really 0.4.x related, I've changed the settings for experimental version and got 0.3.7 back and everything works normal…

Thanks for the Replay feature!!! Made a first short test and it is working good. I also have a few first suggestions: Would be good to have in the replay window itself the ability to choose the data visualisation (and recorded time) Otherwise I have to open now two windows Would be good to have also Altitude above ground also as Data to choose from. Imagine you fly through the mountains and the valeys and want to seek for the lowest point of your flight where you have nearly hit the ground ;) many thanks

Hi, when FS Real Time is running, the mouse cursor doesn't disappear anymore if the middle mouse button is pressed. (or to be more exact: The cursor disappears when the middle mouse button is pressed and reappears on mouse movement) I'm unsure who to blame in this case, but I think it's more a problem of FS Real Time than of Chaseplane. And additionally it's unlikely that one of your team members own the tool to test it themself, but I thought it's a good idea to try it anyway ;)

Hello, yesterday (23.10.17) everything worked fine with ChasePlane but today, it didnt Startup anymore for some reason. The installation of Visual C++ begins, and then the download of chaseplane assets... Hi, After being away from flight sim for a few months I've come across a slight problem when using ChasePlane. After updating to the latest version (exp.) I note that my previous joystick buttons assigned to views no longer work as before. I am using a Saitek Cyborg Command Pad Unit for these views but they no longer work as before UNLESS (and I only found this out by accident) I open Control Panel/Devices and Printers/Saitek Cyborg Command Unit/Game Controller Settings/Saitek Cyborg etc/Properties, then if, and only if, I leave that dialogue open the device works as before. Hey guys, This has been answered potentially, I just have not found anything on the forum. When panning left or right (VC or outside), the panning does not work. It moves very slightly but then stops and stutters radically, when keep panning. Panning up and down works perfectly. I have assigned tilt up / down and pan left / right as suggested elsewhere in the forum but that does not solve the problem. Also, when I close ChasePlane, panning works like a charm. I've been receiving revolting STUTTERS - OF ALL THINGS - with ChasePlane in my P3DV4 application. I've confirmed this by panning without starting the application to begin with, and sure enough after departure my simulator was smooth. Excuse me, SILKY smooth. I'm very fed up with this application because I've spent nearly all week uninstalling every add-on and the simulator itself and then reinstalling it all on the idea it was something else and NOT CHASEPLANE that was causing this-this repugnant issue. I would like assistance without delay. Thank you.

Chase Plane V0.4.101 I have setup many Presets in the past but have never experienced this problem. I just purchased a new airplane from Carenado Cessna Caravan C208B and I imported Presets from one of my other aircraft and while trying to change the position and renaming, it duplicates another preset that exists already - see attached printscreen as just one example which shows two Switches-1 when in fact there was a Switches-1 and Switches-2 but after changing position and trying to rename it, it took on the name of Switches-1. https://photos.app.goo.gl/QdYCpsLUxmXexiCk1

So I’ve been using CP for some time now. Most of the issues or bugs I’ve had have been fixed. There is however one bug that doesn’t go away despite reinstalling or even changing from experimental to stable modes. Occasionally while in flight, regardless of the plane I’m flying I will lose camera control. I cannot pan or switch between presets. The only thing I can do is switch between external and internal views but it will get stuck at a single preset no matter which view and also at the same position it was last in. Most of the time it fixes itself after a while but this duration varies. Rarely I will have to close and restart CP to get it working agai…

Hello, I apologize if this has been answered, I've noticed when I use Chase Plane, and Track IR, I sometimes move my head to a point where my view goes outside the cockpit..basically I go through the body of the plane. I had OPUS FSX before and I thought I was able to set it up where I couldn't do that. (It could be my imagination). Is there a way to do that with Chaseplane? Thanks Bill

I liked using my hat switch to simply pan around but then I could use one of the left thumb buttons + hat switch position for 8 different views i.e. Overhead, radio panel etc. Is there a way to do this in Chaseplane?

Hi Kevin, Is there a possibility to adapt the size of CP-window, particularly in the vertical path. This is now only possible when in the "presets"-window. I like to have an overview of all the settings at once in a particular window (like Camera/advanced or the "preferences-tabs). Maybe in one of the upcoming stable versions.

Hello together, I bought Chaseplane yesterday and after installing P3D V4.1 I installed chaseplane too. I have the newest version of FSUIPC installed (5.122). I set up chaseplane yesterday (doing the tutorial...) and then started the Sim. Normally chaseplane should start with the start of P3D but it didn't work like that. I had to start it manaully. And now when I start it manually it seems like it can't connect to P3D V4.1. The box in the upper left corner is red and not green. What can I do to fix it ? Greetings, Lennart

I fly with the PMDG 737-800WL. I have a lot of Lags ONLY in Cockpit. in the Outside all is good (I don't have the Lags). I don't know Why is happen for me ??? Hello friends, I have ChasePlane as well as precipitFX and have also installed. Now a question, how do I activate precipitFX to work under P3Dv4.1? Normally I first start the weather Active Sky for P3Dv4 (ASP4) and hope that also precipitFX will start. I have an odd problem. I think. Every now and then when I switch to another view the view automatically moves a little bit further than it should. It's a little, slow, smooth movement that only takes a second or so but it is obvious. When I press the button for the exact same view again I see it resets itself to where it should be but then it slowly moves away again. I can't get rid of this: it happens quite randomly. I do use TrackIR but I often have it paused and then this happens. Is this related to TrackIR maybe...? I also fly the Majestic Q400: maybe this also has something to do with it because the Q400 is not compatible with CP as far as movements are con…
