This has happened twice now. Error while activating advanced features There was an error while activating advanced features like Smooth Zoom and Static Cameras. We have disabled those features for now. You can still use ChasePlane and your presets. any ideas ive tried both stable and experimental

Hi... I've just completed setting up my cameras on my aircraft and noticed that the outside views are much darker... the same dullness you get when in an eclipse before totality. It is only like this on the outside views, internal and static world cameras are fine. I don't exactly know when it changed or what I have done to change to this state. I have P3D v4.2 installed, Rex Skyforce, Active Sky for P3D 4.2 and PTA for the same sim... plus Chaseplane. I'm not aware of changing any shaders as I completed my camera setup and I dont know how to fix it. Anyone have any ideas?

I typically fly tubeliners and leave the sim while the flight is going to return at descent. The plane pauses at the top of descent. CP seems to go to sleep and takes a approximately 30 seconds or longer to come awake when I disengage the pause. Is this normal and is there a work around for this? Is there a simple way to disengage CP while I have the flight in auto pilot on long hauls? Thanks in advance. Ken

I've been having this issue in P3D 4.1 where when I move the view with the middle mouse button, sometimes the view will suddenly jump on its own to a view looking straight down. It happens with inside and outside views.

For spotting I would like to pan view from tower. Kevin stated earlier :The official way of doing it right now (0.1.660) is to create a custom Static Camera at the Tower's location. How can i make a custom Static Camera at the Towers Location? I am using P3d V4.2 and Chaseplane v04.194 Beta

hi think i got a problem with views and the 320 autopilot disconnect??. whenever i switch quickly from my my 2 front views and maybe capt window and then back the autopilot disconnects and also my sounds go weird . the sound stutters in time with the master warning light. i can almost immediately switch the a/p back on but as i said i can only seem to get it to fault when i move my viiews around the cockpit???. ps i turned ASP4 off just to rule that out same problem! p3d v4.2 /FSLA320 v2 /ASP4 /skyforce 3d /pta2.6 /chaseplane /navigraph charts /pfpx /Orbyx FTX /gsx

I'm using an external cam with Gimbal checked to act as a spot view. My one issue with it is that if I'm in this spot view, then the aircraft makes a major change in direction, the next time I go into my spot view the gimbal has to "fly" into the position and it's really slow. Is there any way to fix this? I have transitions turned off so it doesn't have anything to do with that, I don't think.

Hi there I am wanting to record formation flying with another ai aircraft. Is there anyway to create ai flight paths and fly with the air aircraft, but record at the same time? Many thanks!

I spent a good part of the evening trying to figure out why suddenly I was getting short stutters when panning around inside the cockpit (A2A Cessna 182). FPS was in the high 60s and except for panning around, everything was butter smooth. I tried everything: reverting to an old driver, rebuilding cfg, clearing shader cache, playing around with nVidia inspector. I don't know why I didn't think of ChasePlane being the culprit sooner. As soon as I opted out of experimental, panning around is butter smooth again. Just a heads up in case this little glitch moves on to public release. Anyone else noticed this behavior?

Since there apparently is no official Chase Plane forum, is there any news of a update to this software? Thanks, Chief

I have an issue in the replay mode where my gear is not fully deployed and when i stop the replay my plane is stuck in the ground, please say if there is a fix for this because I love to watch my landings and chase plane is a fantastic addon, thanks.

Hi, i have an issue with VFXCentral Update. Every time i start P3D V4.2, VFXCentral shows up with a "Downloading ChaePlane update" message. It hangs at 10%. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance

Hello, With Ezdok when we make a long flight (Paris - Bogotá) the camera which we defined moved of place. Was this problem resolved with ChasePlane for FSX ? Good bye, thanks

Last week I switched from EZDOKv2 to Chaseplane (v0.4.194 Beta) and I must admit that the reviewers are right. It is intuitive and setting up camera's is a lot more comfortable than with EZDOK. The magnitude of ways to switch between camera's is overwhelming. In EZDOK there is only one way and that works also. In fact, if one is used to setup camera's in EZDOK it is not as comfortable, but it works. I can't say that for the motion effects which are horrible in EZDOK. But...., there is always a but. Although I have a reasonable powerfull PC and Graphics, the Transition In & Out between camera's in Chaseplane is a shocking experience. On the ground it is smooth, bu…

Yesterday I have lost use of the zoom feature in P3D v4. It has worked using the allocate ChasePlane keys Num Plus and Num Minus. If I revert camera .cfg to bring back the Virtual Cockpit, the default P3D keys work fine and the view changes. It may help but the view using ChasePlane is stuck at .20% (very wide angle). I just bought Chaseplane today. Installed VFXCentral. From the Preferences Menu, I can see that VFXCentral is tagged to FSX.exe in my FSX directory. When I start FSX, VFXCentral is also started. I see the icon in the system tray but I do not get the configuration panel for Chaseplane. Please help.

I had setup all my cockpit views with a Quartic transition effect. The effect moving from view to view was nice and smooth. I then assigned keyboard keys from the number pad to each of my views. One of the key assignments warned me that the selected stroke was assigned in P3D and to make sure I deleted it. Well, I deleted the keystroke from p3d (Shift + Num 0) IIRC and now all my transitions just snap into place. The smooth movement is gone. I go into the camera advance setting to adjust the transition, but nothing happens. I closed Chaseplane, P3D and rebooted my PC. When I restarted everything none of my saved presets were there. Ok. So I created new presets, but …

hi i am on v4.2 and with the fsl a320 latest update when i return from cockpit left window view to mcp/ glareshield view the autopilot disconnects???, ive tried turning ASP4 off to see if that was the problem but the same result, its more evident if i move views rapidly!, very strange anyone else getting this?

I'm getting some strange cockpit "shaking" when GSX is performing pushback. This camera shake was previously fixed by changing a line in cameras.cfg (MomentumEffect=No), but this fix no longer works and the camera shaking is back. Hi, I would like to point out a problem I face recently with ChasePlane. The problem is, that after I load a flight and Chaseplane starts, it seems that while I can change views with my keyboard shortcuts normally, I can't pan around holding down the middle mouse button. To fix this, I have to manually shut down Chaseplane and restart it. This is somehow annoying to do everytime, so for now I disabled Chaseplane autostart feature as if I start Chaseplane manually after I load a flight, the problem does not happen. Is this something that can be fixed in the current version or maybe should be looked at? I run the Experimental version. Thank you!
