ChasePlane Support

After few min flights it stop working. After restart CP all works fine few min. 0.4.183 version

I fly most of my planes with a yoke, but when I fly the Airbus, I use a joystick. However, this requires me to remap the POV controls back and forth every time I switch. Is it possible to have multiple control setups based on the loaded aircraft with Chase Plane? If not, would it be possible to be added to chase plane in the future (I'm not talking of the next build, but for 1.0 +)

Hello Experts Sim = P3D V4.2 I made several presets on different airplanes without having problems exept with the iFly B737-800 with all installed textures. After loading the B737 and begin to operate the aircraft the presets changes from inside presets to the outside presets automatically. If I switch back to the inside presets after a few seconds the same situation again it changes to the outside presets. I programmed all onboard preset changes with the right side keyboard arrow and the out side presets changes with the left Keyboard arrow. Hello all! I picked up the Trackir this week and am enjoying it immensely! I have a question if anyone can assist...I am using the Carenado C206 and noticed that when using TrackIR, sometimes if you lean forward too far or to the side a certain distance it snaps to center and you need to use the hat switch to pan around. I'm guessing there is a limit to the view angle you can get to and TrackIR just centers automatically or something...Anyone know of this and how to extend the range?

Hi Keven, Twice now, after 5 hrs of flight VHHH-YSSY with PMDG 777-300ER, the key presets have become unbound from the sim. The flight continues as does ChasePlane, but none of the keys is active suddenly. Sim is up to date and ChasePlane 4.190 Beta in use. Stopping and starting CP then restores the functions but shortly thereafter they are lost again. Any advice?

Hello Keven, As i hear (read) several rumors as to Chase Plane has to be updated to work properly in P3Dv4.2, just want to know what is the situation up to now? Do we have to expect an update/fix for P3Dv4.2 or is it working as it is? Untill now i am still on P3Dv4.1...

My cinematic mode is so far away that the aircraft so tiny. I recall that like half a year ago it was still normal (Yes I have got this problem for a long time now and decided finally to seek help). How could I fix this? Cinematic mode zoom offset does not work either (or atleast it doesn't do anything for me) Mikael

I have this window upon starting the Sim.....is it something automatically dis-activated or it is related just to my simulator? How can I solve this zoom problem from my Top- Down view? I have camera setups for a few addon aircraft that I own, including the A320 of FSLabs. It's been quite a few months since I didn't load the A320 and today I did it, and I noticed that some of the cameras that I had setup previously are missing, for which I had no idea until now. Since it was a process that took me quite some time to accomplish, I would like to know if this is possible to recover the missing cameras. Thanks.

Since my purchase, 4 days ago, I have passed endless hours to try to make CP work in my computer and I'm coming to the conclusion that it is better to give up to avoid unnecessary frustration. I'm also in contact with @support but not much of help on that side either. Exp 4.0.187 I'm able to start the UI from the desktop icon, where I changed few things in the Preferences, but when I start FSX(SP2) I see the icon in the taskbar for a split second and then it disappears for good. Hi, Opening up P3D after installing Flightsimware's Learjet 35A for the first time, Chaseplane informed me of an update it had just installed. After doing it, it then said my P3D v3 wasn't supported. In the sim, the transitions between camera views (even in aircraft I had used before the update or Learjet install) were non existent and literally just snapped to the next one. The views in Chaseplane from the airport stands or runways were also missing and I couldn't turn them on, even when at Heathrow when there are literally hundreds of stands to choose from. Is there a way to uninstall this update as P3D and Chaseplane were working absolutely fine beforeha…

Just curious if many folk go with installing the untested beta's over the latest 'stable version'?

I just started having an issue when starting up ChasePlane I get: Error while activating advanced features ... there was an error while activating advanced features like Smooth Zoom and Static Cameras. We have disabled those features ... The only things I changed recently was I updated to the latest FSUIPC5 version and ran the Pete Dowson "MakeRunways" application to work with my PF3 ATC app running on a client PC. To try and remedy the issue I uninstalled and reinstalled CP but same issue. I also deleted my camera.cfg file to let CP rebuild it but that didn't help either. I don't know if it's an issue with the latest beta version of CP or related to…

For those who want new experiences next one is a bad one. I believe that ChasePlane interferes with the normal A320 FSlabs functionality. Let me explain: I set AC BUS 1+2 right after departure, when the failure shows up then I lose MAP navigation, I revert into MAN PITCH TRIM ONLY which is something that should not happen until LND GEAR DN. More: Motion is greatly diminished. I bring the same scenery back again with ChasePlane uninstalled, and every thing works as expected in this EMERGENCY. Has anyone noticed something similar ??? Hi Kevin I have an issue with Chaseplane where it closes (crashes?) directly after launching. It sounds strange I know, but it 'appears' to happen any time after I've created a system backup with 'Acronis True Image'. That could just as easily be coincidence, but thought it worth mentioning. Easy enough to resolve with a quick uninstall and reinstall.

Hi, I am having a strange issue with Chaseplane and PMDG 747 on P3D V4.1. I have the Chaseplane latest experimental build installed and I have mapped both internal and external views to some joystick buttons and I have always been able to switch correctly among them since I installed CP many months ago. What happens now is that I no longer can switch to the external views either using the buttons or even via the Chaseplane GUI in the presets section. The Internal views work well with no issues at all, the problem is only on the external views (and on the static cameras...they are not accessible as well). Any suggestion ? Thanks Ezio

I have used EZDOK for a while. In Ezdok I can assign a button to cycle through all cockpit or outside views I have saved. I can also set another button to cycle back through these views. Can you do this in Chaseplane? Thanks Paul

I recently purchased Chaseplane and am enjoying it immensely, but am having a problem with it autostarting with FSX Acceleration. If I uninstall Chaseplane and reinstall it (using v 0.4.162), I choose the option of having Chaseplane autostart with FSX. It will autolaunch the first time, but after starting FSX a second time I have to start Chaseplane manually. I have checked the information in my exe.xml file and everything is correct for launching Chaseplane at startup. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, I have observed with the Aerosoft Airbus A319 and the latest experimental versions of CP, that when the aircraft is first loaded into FSX Accel, the default CP view of the 3D cockpit is shown correctly, however if you attempt to cycle through the various FSX cockpit views using the "A" key, the very next cockpit view becomes an external view instead of the next cockpit view in sequence. If however, you repeat the same exercise of FSX start up, load in the A319 and start from the same default CP cockpit view, if you then cycle backwards through the various views using Shift A, then the cockpit views are retained. I have a few presets for planes I no longer fly and was wondering if I can deletion those presets. Example is I no longer fly the SimCheck A300 because I am P3Dv4. I can delete the individual views just not the main category.

Okay, so yesterday i finally updated my Chaseplane after a year of having it. lol Tried the new feature REPLAY, and its failing to read that the flaps go down within the sim, it read it within the timeline, which is strange. I understand its still in BETA, so no pressure, but is anyone else having had or is having this issue with an of the other PMDG's? Thank you in advance

New to chaseplane, and trying to create a preset from a window view inside a aircraft. My aircraft has a "aircraft" view right side window. I'm displaying that on my screen but chaseplane will now allow me to create a preset of that view?? FSXSE. Any ideas. Thanks Wayne Veale [email protected]
