ChasePlane Support

Hello chaseplane support, first of all "sorry for the bad english and the translation" I do not know how to explain it in english. In the PMDG 737-800 there are no problems with chaseplane, but if I switch to the 700-700-900 the "forward control button" does not work, but only if I'm on the captain's side. Copilot or jump seat everything OK. The problem is such, when I sit on the Captain seat and I press the button for "forward" plops the picture in the outside to Static View. No matter which key I use for "forward", it always plops into the "static view" and only on the captain side. I hope with the problem can be helped me. P3D V4.1

Hello, In "Minimum Requirements" section, we can see, we need a "Quad Core, 3.0 GHz processor or faster". If I have a dual core, 3.0GHz, do you think is it okay to use ChasePlane ? Thanks

Hello Pilots has anyone had issues with chaseplane not working with the MJQ400 I use Track IR as well and neither works when I select the Q400 all fine in other aircraft.Cant switch views either with Chaseplane with this aircraft. Any help appreciated.

Using ChasePlane v0.3.1 Beta Exp. on P3D v4, i noticed that anything related to camera was working, Zoom, Pan & Tilt, anything, except switching cameras, the screen flashes black an then the alternation begins... And the most weird thing is: when i press the middle mouse button, the cursor "sticks" in the screen, like when you move the camera, but it don't do anything... I already tried to go to a stable version and deleted the camera.cfg. It happens in every aircraft! A day ago it was working perfectly, but after the installation of PMDG 777-300ER (i don't know if it have something related to) this happened. Thank You, Henrique Kruger

Please help! I haven't used ChasePlane for a while so I logged on and it needed to run an update. I let the update run and I am getting an error that reads:- Downloaded file is not signed from OldProp Solutions Inc. I have uninstalled and tried to reinstall VFX Central and I am now getting the SAME error from VFX?! Help! This is driving me crazy! Thanks! Jen

Hello all, I am new to Chaseplane and have set up a few static views at an airport and was wondering if its possible to use the Pan/POV Hat on my flightstick to "Look around" (Pan only), so to speak (from that static view) or is it that the static view is just that and cant be manipulated in any way?. I was also wondering, if, while doing a bit of "spotting" at the said airport, its possible whilst in Static Preset its possible to track an inbound or outbound AI aircraft, say from short finals to parking. Hi all, I'd have 2 questions: What is the actual purpose of gimbal ? I'm looking to find the best and most realistic motion settings for my planes. (turbulence,landings and so on).Are the default settings the best and most realistic ? I had to go back to opus camea because I could not tune the effects right but i would like to lean. Any info/tip/pointer appreciated. thanks a lot in advance.

Hi I'm unable to use rudders and fly with an Xbox 1 controller. Left stick flight controls and right stick head movement. I would like to ideally cycle some views back and forward with Start and Back button but could settle for overhead and console set views. Just wondering if this is possible out of the box or would I need full version FSUIPC? Thanks!

Just wondered if there are any more updates on the jittery movement when using chase plane Until today all was fine with p3dv4.2 but after updating windows I now get the same issues that others have posted here regarding this issue. To the point that chase plane is pretty much unusable for me at the moment. HI since the last update i can only get chase plane working with advanced settings off if it is switched on then i have no joystick,xbox or presets working. have tried loading with and without experimental with no difference ? windows 10 64bit,p3d v3.4 TIA Garry

Hi, it is not possible to assigne a outside spot for the RealAir Lagacy and Duke. It always jumps back into the cockpit. I know this was already discussed back in Aug 2017. Any solution by now? Regards Raller

I have P3D v3, Chaseplane updated to 0.4.204. I haven't used P3D for a little while, I was hoping to do some training but apparently I can't use TrackIR head tracking with the on-board and outside cameras, the static camera is fine. I have tried to switch "Head tracking" on/off, but that doesn't solve the problem. Restarting everything neither. I tried to switch on/off a few other options without more success. If I switch "Head tracking" off in the static camera view, then it's disabled as the two other camera modes so this option seems to work only for the static camera. What could be wrong? For now I can't really use P3D in that state.

Hello, I fly only the PMDG 737 NGX in FSX. I am aware that in FSX moving around the world can alter the viewpoint of a set point in the cockpit. I set up my cockpit camera presets at RWY 25 at KLAX. I have had a chance to do only very limited use of the program. I have discovered that the when I start the sim the presets are properly set no matter where I choose to start at that airport, ie the runway where I set them up or at some gate at KLAX. But when I did a pushback from the gate at KLAX, [using GSX] I I noted that the preset positions changed so much from that short roll, that they were almost unusable, and remained that way, so I had to exit. Hey! Recently I’ve started to experience an issue where SODE, addon Manager and also GSX simply won’t open their menus. I also noticed how chaseplane wouldn’t respond to any input after a few seconds in the sim. I would be able to control the camera fine, and the menus would work fine, for a couple of seconds. Then chaseplane would freeze completely (as in I couldn’t move my camera) and the menus would stop working. I’ve been able to narrow it down to chaseplane being the issue, I turned off auto launch and everything worked as intended, launching chaseplane after loading in the simulator worked as intended as well. Hi, Chaseplane has been working fine for me on P3D 4.2 with beta experimental version 4.198. All of the sudden I randomly noticed that the Smooth Zoom does not work properly it is jittery and jumpy. Also mouse panning in the VC randomly freezes and becomes intermittently unresponsive, the same happens when using the arrow keys to move around the cockpit. I remember when first using Chaseplane in V4.2 I had some weird glitchy issues like above but switching to the experimental version fixed this. Since 4.2 was released and up until now I have not had any issues and all those features seemed to work fine. Including on this current version. It was only that today I not…

Hello, I set up a bunch of exterior views in Chaseplane, and assigned them all to a single button on my joystick. I discovered that I can cycle between the views without difficulty unless one of the views is listed as Track Aircraft. If I cycle to that view it seems to get stuck there and will not allow me to cycle to other views assigned to that button. If I untick track aircraft on the view, I discovered that I can include that view and cycle through without problem. Is this by intent? I was thinking of cycling to a side view of the aircraft and then being able to use my HAT SWITCH on my joystick to pan around the plane. and being able to cycle back to…

When using Chaseplane V0.4.204 (experimental) switching to the default 2D Panel doesn't work. When switching to the 2D panel in FSX, Chaseplane automatically switches to the CustomView Outside. Hi there, So I got 2 problems since updating to the latest p3d version and updating chaseplane. The first one is about the advanced settings..Whenever I enable that settings chaseplane's functions don't work, the camera is stuck and panning with middle mouse is not working. Whenever I unable the setting it works fine, though. The second problem might have something the do with that advanced settings aren't unabled, but switching between camera's/presets isn't smooth, it just move to that position instantly. Hey, Recently I bought ChasePlane because Ezdok was getting kinda annoying with all the bugs I´ve had. So I installed it, tested it and everything worked fine, exept for the last couple of flights, where CP started to randomly disconnect after about 1-2min into the sim. I tried to update CP and my FSUIPC but nothing seemed to help and I also dont want to install Ezdok again when I have bought ChasePlane. (I use P3Dv3.4 and my Chaseplane is at version 0.4.204, already tried to go back to an earlier version, still the same problem) Thanks for the help in advance 🙂
