ChasePlane Support

I recently uninstalled and reinstalled the Prepar3d v4.2 Client (only). Now, ChasePlane does not auto-launch when starting P3Dv4.2. Furthermore, I can no longer manually launch ChasePlane. Double-clicking on the ChasePlane.exe file does nothing. Please help.

I have no idea what happened but recently when loading FSX I get the error Can't Init SimConnect error! If you click ok it continue's to load and come's up again, click ok and it loads correctly however I now don not have access to Active Sky 2016. I've tried re-installing SimConnect but nothing. Anyone experience this problem or have any idea how to correct it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

hello I noticed on 4.3, when I change the parameter HDR, it does not change anything in P3D instantly in external view, While on 4.2, we could directly see the difference. An idea? thank you

I wish we were able to sync to music in cinematic view (apps like Groove, spotify, etc).

Hi community. I have a issue with Chaseplane. I keep camera movements assigned to WASD on the keyboard. I also use Shift+A, Shift+S and so on to change camera views. This used to work just fine, but after the newer betas this doesn't work anymore. Now, when I press Shift+A the camera does the correct command but then starts moving the camera right as assigned command A. I hope I'm making myself clear. I tried everything, and nothing solves this issue. I used this combo for years, and hate to relearn my brain my camera views... Hope someone could help. Best Regards,.

I seem to have reached a dead-end in trying to get Cinematic Mode to work as I think it should.I have tried to activate this mode as per the options in the user manual.All I get is an alternation between the 2 aircraft positioned at the end of the rwy.I have the camera selection at 12 sec change and camera motion at 22x-I have tried all sorts of combos. I am using FSX,CP version 0.4.206 and the view description for above is' Custom View Outside Chase Plane'.Zoom-0.74mm. All other aspects of chaseplane seem to be working.

Hi folks I bought Chaseplane yesterday with the hope that it could help with a bad fisheye problem i have with P3Dv4 and spreading over 3 monitors [see specs below]. When I start P3D i have to correct the fisheye problem by hitting the + key several times to get a proper perspective. I hoped that Chaseplane would solve it. I set up onboard camera views for the Alebeo Mooney just fine, and assigned to key pad 1 through 5 for the views that I want. Then with the engine running, and advancing the throttle, the sim returns to the fisheye and the view is from way back of the cockpit completely unusable. Has anyone experienced this? P3DV4.2 ChasePlane is loading and works fine but I can access the setting to make changes. The icon in the task bar shows initializing... and when I click on it it does not open the preferences and control settings window. I'm using ver 04.206.

Hi there. I have Chaseplane set to start up with P3dV4.2 through [Programs] in FSUIPC . I tend to fly only 1 or 2 different aircraft, have my cameras all set up, so was wondering if its possible to start chaseplane minimised, as each time I start P3D I have to minimise it manually, and would be useful if it started up minimised Thanks Chris

so Chase plane is turning green to let me know it has connected to P3D v4 but it will not connect to an aircraft when the flight is loaded any ideas here is the report file if that helps: <censored>

It looks like all my in cockpit view problems have been fixed !!😀😋 I can now move around the cockpit freely! The latest download has apparently addressed these issues........Thank you, thank you thank you Norm

I am trying to use the NumPad keys on GSX to customize parking positions for my plane. But it's conflicting with ChasePlane. I have even disabled ChasePlane altogether but still no go. In GSX the numpad 8 key moves the object forward, but every time I press that it also switches the camera view, and on the top right it says Custom (Chaseplane). So I know it's conflicting with ChasePlane. How can I prevent the numpad 8 and other keys from doing this?

Hi just installed Chase plane today. I originally had ezcam and then I updated to ezdok2. Prior to installing Chase Plane, I uninstalled ezdok2. (Ezcam previous version was already uninstalled) Now, when I start CP it gives me an error message that there are conflicting entries in camera cfg from ezca? It tells me to run the eczcam cfg to fix this bug. I tried running ezcam cfg and told it to restore all settings but the error keeps coming on when I start CP?? Using W10 and FSX Thanks Norm

P3D V4.2 CP will disconnect when a Multiplayer session is started and then it reconnects but is not functional. Thoughts? Cheers, Rob.

Hi every since I've updated Chaseplane I am a lot of stuttering when panning in the VC . Using track ir it's very comfortable it just pauses every time . Sometime I would have track ir pause and all of sudden chase plane moves it view. I know there is an option with in Chase plane to stop the view from changing when Track Ir is paused ,but I have that option tick off. The aircraft I'm flying is FSLAB A320. The problem seem to occurred when I'm in the in the air not on the ground . I've send a support ticket with this problem . But I haven't receive an answer yet. Any suggestion I would very much appreciate.

Can you add a feature for disabling movement/tilting et cetera bindings, but retaining all other features active? Zooming wouldnt be disabled in any case.

After a recent reinstall of ChasePlane v0.4.206 Beta, my middle mouse button no longer allows me to “look around” when I hold it down. I can’t find anything in settings that isn’t turned on. MB Pan, MB Hide, and MB Zoom are all green. What could I be missing or what else could be conflicting? I have disabled Controls in P3D v4.2 as most functions are covered by fsuipc5.0 and SPAD.Next. Hi I want to know if it's possible to run chaseplane on a networked PC, as I enjoy runing FSX in full screen mode. Also will the licence cover a networked PC. Thanks

Error while activating advanced features There was an error while activating advanced features like Smooth Zoom and Static Cameras. We have disabled those features for now. You can still use ChasePlane and your presets. Anybody knows that? It suddenly appeared, without making any change... Thanks!

Bought beta 6 weeks ago. Started out OK. Took the time to read what passes for a manual and set up one aircraft, Mafred Jahn's C47. Tooks some learning but I was able to set up various panel views to get flying. Chaseplane started crashing occasionally about 3 weeks ago. Steadily got worse until it started to not only crash but bring P3D down too. When I did not run CP, everything ran fine, flight after flight. I have been fly 4 to 8 hours a day for the past month. Same plane in P3dV4. I also run Active sky. That is the only addon I run with it. As of 2weeks ago it began crashing on schedule about 20 minutes into a 3 hour flight. Hi, I always have issues when switching to outside cameras in the air that the FPS is busting the refreshrate of the Monitor. For instance 25HZ gives me stuttering 30-35 fps in outside views. Back to normal in VC at 25 FPS What is causing this ? Thanks Michael Moe

I have been using REX Sky Force recently but have been using Chase Plane for quite awhile. I use SF mostly for the cloud textures but I use Active Sky for the weather engine. All used in P3d v. 4.2. Sometimes things work perfectly (though rarely) together but most of the time what happens is that when I select "Mouse Look Toggle" within Chase Plane using a button on my yoke, this function is inop and I can't pan around using my mouse. Also what happens is that the Chase Plane application can't be selected - just freezes up although my preset view buttons still work. Also, pressing the mouse scroll wheel doesn't cause the Chase Plane menu to pop up. If I use Active…

The title says it all. ChasePlane is a fantastic utility. There is one minor thing that could be fixed to help make it nearly perfect. In the list of Static Views, there is no way to scroll horizontally through a list of runway thresholds. So only the first few runways that fit in the box are usable, usually about 4 runways. Obviously, many airports have more runways than this, and it is annoying to not be able to quickly hop over to the additional runways without creating a custom view first. So please add a way to get to all the runways for an airport shown in the list of Static Views. I suggest either a scrollbar, or make it possible for several lines of…
