ChasePlane Support

I recently switched from xplane to p3d, and really miss the ability to set up views wich I can recall upon pressing a button. Can I do this using chaseplane? Not just cycle through a set of views. If I had a "flight seat view" and a "overhead view" and a "radio stack view", would I be able to map each of those to a separate command? If so, I'm definitly buying this! Kim

I have been trying to change my HDR lightning settings for p3d V4, but whenever chaseplane is running it blocks the preferred sliders setting. The only option I can really change when chaseplane is running is to enable or disable the HDR lightning altogether. When I start P3D without chaseplane I can change the settings as much as I want to, but as soon as I start chaseplane my settings are reset.

Hi, I was wondering if you could select a "default view" when loading an aircraft. I run CP in P3dv4 with the Aerosoft A318-319 Professional. When I load the aircraft I get an interior cabin view at start up. I than need to go to Views>Change View> Cockpit> On Board (ChasePlane) to get the Virtual Cockpit view of my presets. Is there a way to set the VC(ChasePlane) as a default when the aircraft loads? Thanks for reply

Hi Keven, Whenever I start my PMDG 777-300ER under Windows 10, ChasePlane starts automatically. But until I give it focus, it remains in the Windows tray blinking orange. This seems to be a nuisance activity. Is there a way to get ChasePlane to start without needing it to receive focus?

I am so frustrated with Chaseplane I want to either curse or cry. My problem is that every time I load an aircraft the pilot's view is inverted. I run PD3 V4.3 and IRTrack. Without Chaseplane everything works fine. Install Chaseplane and it works fine the first time. The next time you run the simulator and load the scenario or aircraft, the pilot's view is inverted. The other views are fine. However, Track IR will not work with them. Totally Frustrated!

I have the Dash8 Pro and P3dv4, latest version, and use Chase Plane for my cockpit views. All panels are good, with no issues, but, when viewing the overhead, using Chase Plane, every time I move the mouse, to click a switch, the view changes.As I move the mouse the view changes as if the mouse was a hat switch. It only happens with this aircraft and this panel, all others are fine. Can anyone help please, as it is very frustrating? I have the view mapped to Num Pad 8. I have tried the Majestic forums and they say it is a Chase Plane issue.

Hello, I am having this error where chaseplane will randomly disconnect from the simulator. The app itself is still there, the top left plane symbol is still green, and the app is not frozen. That is, I can still press buttons such as "Tutorials" or "Whats New" but the camera - preferences options are greyed out and the bottom says "Start your sim and flight to use chaseplane" or something of that sort. Sometimes chaseplane will reconnect and work after couple minutes but usually I have to restart the app to get it to connect to the simulator. Hello, Every now and then when I'm recording a replay in ChasePlane (slow speed), I leave it paused over night and want to continue the next morning. When I sit down to the sim (P3dV4.3), ChasePlane is closed. As if it crashed or just shuts down on it's own after a certain amount of inactivity. I tested this over and over and the same thing happens: Shuts down after a few hours if the sim is paused or inactive.. Any thoughts, anyone? Much obliged

Hello! I have always been using my old xbox 360 controller for my camera since i purchased chaseplane, and it has ever since worked completely fine. Although quite recently I started to notice that it had begun to do the opposite. I was on the experimental version since the non experimental isnt fully compatible with 4.2 as far as I know, there was some kind of an update done to the experimental version which made it so whenever i changed view with the controller, the angle would be 100% correct but it would zoom out as far as possible, so everytime i change views i have to reset it back to how its meant to be. And not only that, when scrolling through the views…

Just purchased and installed latest version of CP on P3dv4.3 and, while CP loads normally and the few key buttons for camera views that I programmed work fine, I cannot get the CP control window to appear--no matter what I do in the sim. Is there a protocol that needs to be followed. I programmed one key for the UI toggle, and this is the one that works sporadically. I have CP loading as experimental. thanks. tony

Hi everyone, I put in a ticket for support, but I was wondering if anyone else had trouble running chaseplane in 4.3 today? It loads up, but none of the presets change views. I uninstalled/reinstalled chaseplane completely from my system but the problem is still there. Any ideas? All aircraft are affected. Worked just fine last night, but when I launched the sim this morning, nothing works. Thanks, John

Howdy, I recently did a vanilla reinstall of P3D, and I keep getting sporadic CTD's if I cycle through views in the NGX. There was a fix to this issue, but I forgot since it's been a while that I had to apply it. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks, John

Hi, Its always bin a nightmare on my system using the slew key. Hitting Y would be a disaster on my system with warp speed or worse. There is no option inside the Chaseplane general section anymore about SLEW mode but how is Chaseplane interacting with Slew mode ? If i disable Chaseplane this SLEW mode nightmare stops but i cant use any key combination for views etc. GSX is using Slewmode as an editor function Thanks Michael Moe

Hello, I just got Chaseplane. I have Mouse Scroll enabled to zoom. However whenever I move over the altitude, speed, or heading knob to adjust it, it also zooms in and out. How to fix?

Newest version of chaseplane and whenever I try to change the altitude knob or something I zoom in, I turned scroll zoom off but I do like to use it a lot. Anyway to fix this?

Ok cool; I've heard all the reviews this is great and all and I thought I swore this came with replay capabilities... how disappointing ah but yes its beta... Ok now... one issue I'm not pleased with is I can't zoom whenever I want, I have to create a new camera and set it closer and switch to that camera when I want to see things closer... kind of annoying really I'm used to panning around the VC and zooming in whenever and I can't even pan the usual way (spacebar+mouse, now has to be MB instead. Hello Support Aerosoft Airbus have two view bar where you can choose different in- and outside views. After creating Chaseplane presets for Aerosoft Airbus the AS Airbus views are interupted by the Chaseplane presets. Example: Cockpit view made on preset, after loading airbus there will be a inside cabine view instead of the selected cockpit view. I deleted all presets for the AS airbus but still the inside cabin view instead of the cockpit is visible. After then I tried to remove the preset name AS Airbus from the title bar but I could not find any button to delete th airbus title. How can we delete a aircraft fully from Chaseplane ? Is this…

When using any method to control tilt up/down, when the upper or lower limit is reached the view resets to the opposite limit and stays fixed there. I don't recall seeing this before and it doesn't seem to work that way for pan or roll. Pan just continuously sweeps through 360 degrees of travel, while roll seems to reset and keep rolling if the input is still there. Can the tilt be made to tilt through 360 degrees of motion like the pan view?

Hi guys I always used to use the builtin camera when I did a playback (just to show myself how bad my landings were!), but now I can't really. The Aerosoft Airbus Professional doesn't let you use the builtin replay now. Anyway, I love Chaseplane, and it looks like it's heading towards having the replay there, which I would love. The one problem is where you can put the camera on approach to the runway. In you 'static' area you can set a camera on the runway for the airport you're approaching (or a gate), but in the future would it be possible to just say the 'tower'? Thanks, Gaz

Hi - I seem to be experiencing a problem with the connection times when I open the program (v0.4.219 Beta Exp). Once I start the program, the circle in the top-left corner of the window spins for several minutes, during which none of my views are available (I can't switch views). I have tried using the non-experimental version, and it loads quickly every time (like it used to), however the program won't let me stay on the stable version, prompting me with a message that it will be "updated to v0.4 very soon"and should download an update, putting me back on the version where I am experiencing issues. Hello Keven, I'm happy user (one week user) of CP and now I can say this addon is on my list Must to have, how can I could miss it before??? ;D Bought new Accu Feel for P3Dv4 (A2A Simulations) yesterday, installed but from this time I see this warrning message: What do You think? What is it? It's present always when I run P3Dv4.3 from now. I didnt notice any problems during a flight but it looks like something affects ChasePlane from Accu Feel P3Dv4 (looks like a problem between those two programms).
