ChasePlane Support

My exterior view has suddenly changed to inside of the cargo hold, on all aircraft and in all views. I can’t pan or move the camera at all. Any suggestions? Uninstalled/reinstalled, reset everything to defaults. Tried deleting and creating new camera presets. Issue still persists.

Due to work and time pressures I'm only using FSX sporadically nowadays. Sometimes a week or two goes by between flying sessions, but it seems that every time I fire up FSX there is an update for Chaseplane and every time my TrackIR doesn't work in FSX. P3D v3 works perfectly, but FSX seems to be a problem. I therefor have two questions: 1. Is it possible to prevent Chaseplane from updating automatically. I'm quite frankly getting sick and tired of these constant updates, which break my TrackIR functionality in FSX EVERY time. I don't care about having the latest features and only want a stable flying experience which works every time I start it up. 2. What on e…

Cannot import a view file by 'Blackbox711' using the import function. Help please?

Hi, Very frequently, I get an error when Chaseplane loads activated by P3D. The error is this one: http://www.pilote-virtuel.com/img/members/6381/Pb-chaseplane.jpeg When this occurs, I close chaseplane and reopen it manually and the error is gone. So, what is causing this error and how to avoid it? Thanks. Patrice

Latest update all my outside cameras no longer working on all aircraft. I get one view where it's showing a cutaway view. All outside cameras are doing this. I can't even use the camera control to adjust cameras. It won't do anything when I move the camera controls.

Hello Experts I am missing VAS uesd/reamaining. The preferences have the green white dot on the right side of the button. I have LM P3D V4.3 installed. Is this probably no more implemend on the 4.3 P3D ? regards Roger

Hi there, Chaseplane functions as it should with all my aircraft except with the TFDI 717. There is no camera control/response at all. I'm unable to move the camera with the mouse control or keyboard control. The only function that works is I can switch from Internal to external views but switching between cameras doesn't do anything. I've tried restarting Chaseplane as well as reinstalling the 717 but still had no luck. Is there something else I can try? I'm using P3D V4.3, Windows 10 Chaseplane V 0.4.217 and TFDI V1.1. Thanks

I'm running the updated experimental version with p3d v3.4 and I cannot bring up the insim menu. The preference,camera, MB view selector is active (green). I tried disabling experimental version but no luck. Help ? Thanks

Hello, Windows 10 Pro Update 1809 latest Driver NVIDIA 416.16 GTX1070. P3D4.3 Chaseplane 1.03 i got Flickering (black squares) from the Chaseplane Overlay in Cockpit and much more Flickering in cinematic Mode.

How do I slow down the camera view changes. Very fast now and I want to have it look more normal when switching views. Dennis

I have assigned four views - on board and they work whithing chaseplane but not on my joystick Secondly and despite of assigning my mouse as per picture, the is not reaction within the sim https://ibb.co/cHmV3p https://ibb.co/g7PTpU Any ideas? Chase plane would not work unless I have registered it, right but run without me beeing able to use it in the cockpit but for doing presets etc. Hope you can help as I´ve been following many youtubes and this seem so simple. Fsuipc most recent for p3d installed, if it matters. All default assignment in p3d deleted.

Hello, When I load the PMDG 747-8i, my ChasePlane views with TrackIR5 will lock up tighter than a drum. When I uninstall ChasePlane and use Opus for camera views, it will work fine. Then I re-install ChasePlane and it is locked up again. I have all of the selections for TrackIR selected (Camera & Preference), but TrackIR is locked. It seems to just be happening with the PMDG 747-8i. I did a full flight with the PMDG 737-800 and ChasePlane worked fine. Also, now with ChasePlane the sim seems to lock up and crash. I have deleted that weather list file that is in the FAQs, but that didn't help. Right now I have uninstalled ChasePlane…

Hi I'm trying to purchase Chaseplane but when I click the purchase now tab nothing happens. I've tried registering but again nothing happens when i click the tab after filling in my detials. I've also tried filling the tech support form but agian it won't send when I click the tab to send. Anyone offer a solution? I have downloaded and installed VFX but can't open as it requires registration. Thnaks Stephen

Hi, I just loaded a Carenado SOCOTA TBM850 and run into the following problem: The mouse wheel operates the zoom function (zoom in & out). I don't need to press the mouse wheel, but just rotate it. Since this function of the mouse wheel is used for turning control knobs, it is impossible to fly the aircraft. The MB ZOOM (MB Hold + SCROLL) is NOT selected in Preferences/Camera. So I loaded a PMDG B738 with the same Preferences and the mouse wheel is inoperative and does NOT change the zoom setting. My simulator is FSX-Steam Edition. Thanks for help

Hi, Would like to mention a static view bug at EH13 - Orbx TrueEath Netherlands HD. The runways are named E and W (not 39 43 as written there). Selecting any Parking works as expected, but selecting 39 or 43 gives the following image. I made a report - I send it by mail (you can recognise it - my email address starts with my forum name. I´ve read the manual and just followed a very good video by Q8Pilot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kyWobvZpLg I have assigned three views in my cockpit and assigned the buttons on my joystick to them. I have deleted all assignements in P3D. Despite of my new assignment Chase plane will not change the views. Picture 1. Picture 2 shows that I have enable mouse button control for various movements within the cockpit. However the moving the mouse with the scoll button pressed does nothing. Hi, Thanks for your great documentation, I learned a lot ! And have to experiment 😉 But, I am missing some options in the Preference/Camera part. I find myself regularly modifying the same advanced options when creating new preset : - for On Board camera, I usually have TrackIr enabled (and it is set in the Preference Value) - but for Outside camera, I have most of the time TrackIr disabled AND Track Aircraft Enabled Would be great to have preferences for these two options for On Board and Outside camera. Hi, I can assign the launch of the "floating" menu (see 1st screenshot below) to a key. Is it possible to assign the direct launch of the Chase Plane window to a key (see 2nd screenshot below), to "avoid" the "floating" menu?

I only use the basic/essentials features of the software but they work efficiently. Best FSX/P3D UI I have ever seen for a utility. Easy and beautiful. Hello, I know it is a crazy idea but I cannot refrain from sharing it. OldProp could offer to LM its (paid) services to redesign completely the P3D interface to modern standards. I'm simplifying but IMHO: - Do P3D need a new modern, usable and pretty interface? Yes. - Is it a nice have or a must have? I would say "nice". - Do LM have a budget or would get one for subcontracting to a third party? I don't know. - Is OldProp the right third party? Chase Plane alone do answer to the question.

Bought Chase Plane weeks ago and thought I had every thing working ok. Now I can't seem to get it "back" Using Saitek yoke with P3D v3 and v4 Here is what I do: 1. Select my interior presets and arrange them in the sequence desired. 2. PILOT is always first so I select JS button 1 and also make it a named assignment. 3. I then select JS button 7 for all remaining views (I did not think this was needed but only way it would cycle) 4. Repeat process for external Views and FOLLOW is always first 5. JS button 8 for follow and also a named assignment. NOW my problems start. Cycle through interior okay, then press JS 8 for external. FOLLOW w…

Hi- I've got CP installed. Can the exterior view (inside VC viewing over the dash) be zoomed independently/ Example: in order to see the complete instrument panel, i have to zoom in. That brings the view over the dash in as well which then becomes blurry. Can I separate these? Thanks, Mark

Hi I'm on P3DV4. I want to use ChasePlane for Instant Replay only. I don't want ChasePlane to overwrite the 2 TrackIR files, since I loose all my profiles & I don't want ChasePlane to mess with my views, acceleration, shaking etc. Is this possible? Also is ChasePlane Instant Replay working OK with all the study-sims like PMDG, Majestic, FSL, Maddog, A2A? Does it replay touch-down smoke, spoilers, reversers, prop-rpm & all in cockpit instruments, yoke-movements etc. Essentially what I'm looking for is FlightRecorder for FSX. /Thank you.

Hey guys, I'm new to this so please go easy... Whenever I'm in the PMDG NGX, my views are perfect- they are how I set them up and the zoom and positions are all perfect. However, when I change plane, I can change the view to what I want but the zoom changes to .30 in the cockpit each time I switch views from for example inside to outside and back inside again. Anyone know how I can save the zoom in my different views, in different planes? Thanks.
