Hi all, A couple of days ago I installed P3Dv4 (alongside P3Dv3.4) and yesterday I deleted FSX. Now when I start up chaseplane I get the following message: There was an error while processing the following aircraft. FSLabs A320 CFM (P3Dv3) - Unable to Access cfg file, FSLabs A320 IAE (P3Dv3) - Unable to Access cfg file, mjc8q400 (P3Dv3) - Unable to Access cfg file, Make sure you have sufficient permissions to write to this file. Seeing that the only changes were the above mentioned install/uninstall and that my P3Dv3 install was not changed in any way, why am I getting this error? Panman

First let me assure you all that I have read the manual at least five times. It seems to just stop after describing functions, which I understand. Creating presets is also quite clear and simple to perform. What I need is a clear set of instructions for making the views work in sequence both interior and exterior. Each time I finally get both sets assigned and try to set buttons the views may work sequentially inside but not outside. For a time I had NAMED assignments working but somehow that stopped working as well. Hi all! I am not sure if anyone has had this issue before or if there is a fix, but I am having this issues with Chaseplane where i cannot move the camera or change camera position. The Global Enable/Disable button on the overlay gets greyed out and however many reinstalls i do the issue is still there. I am trying to work out if it is my install of windows or the application itself or maybe even something else. Many Thanks Jack

Hi, I am having this issue where a key assignment to a groupe is not working (for instance all VC FO camera to key "1") Its only the first camera view in that groupe thats working. If i reassign it works but have to do it every time (at least in the PMDG 747 QOTSII in P3DV4.3) Thanks Michael Moe

Hello all, I hope you can help out with a situation I am experiencing. Since a few days, I am not able to use my middle mouse button to pan around in the vc's of various aircrafts (QW787 and PMDG NGX for instance). Until a few days ago, I was still able to do so but I think since the last update of chaseplane I lost the ability to pan around while holding the MMB. The setting in preferences > cameras > mouse controls > MB pan & Tilt (hold + move) is enabled. It's quite a nuisance not being able to pan around, even with trackIR enabled, I'd like to have this sorted. I am looking forward to any replies that would lead to solvi…

Help Please, Want to use same presets for FSLAbs a320 under only one heading so as not to modify for each engine variant. Instructions in the manual are not so clear. Thanks

Statics do not appear to work the same as internal and external presets. I cannot work out how to cycle between them with a key, or go to specific statics via a keypress. Also, I note that I can import a set of camera presets from one aircraft into another, however.... it appears that it does NOT import the assigned button or key presses.... why not ? Thank you. P.S. loving it overall, but still getting a lot of hanging.... usually while assigning keypresses. Flights are fine though.... no crashes or anything. So, hopefully all will be well.

I just started using chaseplane and already configure it. My concern is, when i start p3d and load the flight apparently i start on the passengers area instead of the cockpit. Is this normal or is there a way to start right away at the cockpit? Thank you.

I went to start my P3Dv4 today and received a message saying that the Chase Plane had been activated on too many machines and that I needed to contact chase plane to have an activation reset. I have only installed it on one computer. I do have a second computer, a laptop which I have recently reset to factory settings. I did have some old prop products on this second computer but had not reinstalled any old prop products since I reset the laptop computer. I had not attempted to install the chase Plane on the second computer prior to resetting it. Hi Kevin, have been installing ChasePlan for a while now. In December of last year, I had already asked whether it is possible to use CP also when flying with multiple screens. I was lucky enough to have M$ load the latest KB for W10 (17134.407) and now when I launch CP it gets stuck at the Getting Computer ID. P3Dv4 seem to be working OK so far though. I am running v1.0.11 Exp. Any one experiencing this? Kevin

As in title. Attempting to reduce al added motion effect to zero, in an attempt to cure the broken sound. Having to do every slider for every preset. What a pain !

Hi all, When ChasePlane launches I immediately crach to the dreaded PC Bluescreen reporting that my FltMgr file is corrupted. System seems to self fix each time and no other app has the same effect. However, Google reports that FltMgr is a Windows-related file and not connected to ChasePlane or FSX which is what I use. The name of this file seems to suggest a connection with flight simulation or is this all just a coincidence? I am no computer geek so am looking for a simple fix if there is one. Thanks a lot.

Hello all, Thinking SERIOUSLY about buying Chaseplane, but did have one question first. I have been using another program that has live weather support and creatable camera views (not Ezidok) and I'd like to save a loaded flight with 3 windows open, as I have multi monitors (Wingview L/H monitor) (V/C view central ultrawide monitor) and Overhead panel view (Monitor physically positioned above the main VC monitor. With this other program, I'd save a 3 monitor situation, but when I loaded that situation, it would load the 3 views, then one would be force closed when this other program "hooked into P3D" meaning each time I loaded the saved situation, I had to select the…

Hello allI bought the program in beta stage, but I waited for its final version. Before I install the program and start learning about its capabilities (after descriptions and films I see that they are huge) I have some requestI would like to use it for a standard view in the virtual cockpit without any dynamic effects like with the basic camera in fsx and to perform walk around operations - I missed this very much.Could I ask for advice on how to set my preferred camera settings - are profiles ready for QW787? and how to set the option to perform walk around.Thank you in advanceGrzegorz

So every few minutes CP is just freezing and I have to reboot it via Task Manager. I have an i7 7700k, and have P3D running 244 - so there are spare cores. Anything I should try ? Is Core affinity now automatic ? Thnx

OK guys, aI'll be honest.... I spend a lot of time just enjoying the scenery and use my spot view a lot ! I use the hatswitch on my Saitek yoke or X52 stick, to effect this. But I still cannot work out if Chaseplane will allow me to do this. I have literally 1000s ... (well a few dozen) posts, but seem to find conflicting views on whether this is actually achievable. So, I can only buy this if I can use my hatswitch to pan. Advice ? Many thanks

I know it's still "experimental" but is it possible to make an assignment to open the replay window. My chaseplane is minimized 99% of the time and it would be aweseome If I didn't have to alt tab and open it up to open the replay window. Thanks

There seems to have been a flurry of CP updates just lately - and one of them appears to have screwed the keyboard input for *exterior* zoom. Interior zoom works fine, but in external view it seems inoperable. I have my X-52 Pro mapped to give CTR-7 and CTRL-8 for zooming (as opposed to the more regular "+" and "-"). Adam. UPDATE: Whatever it was seems to have cleared itself. All back to normal again! Weird!!!

I got ChasePlane a few days ago and it has transformed my experience to a whole new level with all the planes I have tested so far. Have setup RealAir, FlySimWare and A2A planes successfully so far. Only problem at moment is that CP instantly hangs when I load the A2A Connie (all other A2A birds are fine). Loading another plane will fix it immediately. The sim is not affected itself although the mouse goes juddery until I shut CP down or load another aircraft. The Connie is EXACTLY the type of plane CP suits best so I hope I can get it working soon! CP crashes whether using the stable or experimental versions makes no difference. Task Manager show…
