Hi, I bought Chase Plane in the early days when it was "early access". After that, I was absent for several years. I reactivated the license yesterday and I'm on P3Dv4. Is that normal that I see a beta version?

Every so often I get a P3D Not Responding message and then a CTD. I am trying to eliminate possibilities. This last time it occured when I was zooming out of the aircraft looking ahead at a landmark using my ChasePlane preset axis for zoom. Just wondering if this may have been a ChasePlane issue? I think I have finally found the issue I've had with random switching of views and switches turning on and off while using Chase plane. I think the issue is when I had a joystick assignment to the simulator's 'locked spot' view. I have since deleted this assignment and the issue appears to have gone away. I haven't tested this fully, but it appears to have gone away. I'm thinking while using Chase Plane you need to not be mixing simulator views with Chase Plane views.

Hi, I have a need to STOP Chaseplane from autoloading with FSX-SE for troubleshooting purposes. I know I selected this option during the installation, but can't find where I can reset this options. Thanks for help

hi Peeps trying to get facetracknoir working with chaseplane all works fine in the sim but when i start chaseplane all movements stop and i can only use chaseplane for views have tried all the usual stuff disabled trackir etc but no fix as yet Any ideas would be great windows 10 64bit no ir just the webcam and noir thanks in advance

Hi I've been using Chaseplane for quite a while now with no significant problems until recently: When flying A2A Accusim aircraft (in this case Comanche & Bonanza) after a short period of time in the air I will start to get a gentle and irregular zoom in and zoom out effect (e.g. from zoom 1.0 out to 0.9 and then in to 1.5, repeating irregularly). What then happens is that these gentle and irregular movements become regular, fixed and rapid (e.g. out to 0.9 in to 1.5, repeat rapidly about 4 times per second) ... end result is some sort of GPU driver issue/crash (only when in VC) with no virtual cockpit view, just black screen. Hi there, Here's a small video of me showing the problem that I've bene facing since the update that rolled out this week. Last weekend when I last flew I didn't have this problem. Watch what happens between 0:25 and 0:30. at 0.39 I stopped zooming in, but less than a second later it jumps to 0.40. And this happens alot. Also with switching views. I've already tried to look up any conflicting key binding within P3D and FSUIPC, but no luck. Thank you!

An odd behavior I've noticed on the NGX, 777, and 747: with ChasePlane open/active, using the middle mouse button to turn on landing lights seems to register as a double click, meaning the lights toggle on then immediately off. Turning off ChasePlane resolves this behavior. Currently have all middle mouse button features in ChasePlane turned off though. Swapping hardware mice has no effect either. Anyone else see this or have any thoughts?

Hi, before I buy chase plane, I would want to know if chaseplane works on both P3D V4 and FSX with just one copy, which means can I use one copy of chaseplane to use it for both P3D and FSX or do I have to purchase 1 for each sim?

Hello! When P3D is opened, the default camera is the first in the onboard list. I messed a bit my Pilot cam and had to create another one, but now it is the last view, and when i start p3d the view is the "left" one, which is in first position. How can i move the new pilot to the first position??

Hi guys, In all my aircraft, lateral movements decrease by itself... which means all my camera move very slowly to the left.... Any ideas how to fix this?

Hello everyone, I'm starting this topic because I mentioned that Chaseplane also causes autogen issues in P3D v.4.3. The issue due to reload autogen is known ?! Look here: Page 13, 14 etc.. The autogen in P3D reloads faster and better without Chaseplane but why?

Hey guys, I've been using chaseplane in p3d v3 with no issues for a while now. Just upgraded to p3d v4, and I can't get chaseplane to work. Chaseplane connects to trackir with no issues (I see FSFX in trackir, so the program is being detected), but once in the sim, there's no tracking. I'm using v0.2.66 alpha exp. I also still have p3d v3 installed. I removed cameras.cfg from the p3d v4 folder in appdata and restarted the sim. I also reinstalled simconnect. Anything else I can try? D

Hello all I am experiencing an unusual event. When I try to activate an inside cockpit view by using a Joystick button, it brings up a spot plane outside view which I have never programmed? I do not even have this view in any of my presets, inside or outside?? I have thoroughly checked all my FSX and FSUIPC views to see if this is where it is coming from. There is absolutely no reference to this joystick button any where within FSX or FSUIPC.? CP presets not working in the PMDG 777-300ER. CP does function normally in the 777-200 and 777F and PMDG 737 variants and 747. It has stopped once before then it started working again, but now not at all. Using version V0.4.217 Beta with P3D v.4.3.

Hi there, I am on Prepar3D v4.3.29.25520 and am using the latest basic version of ChasePlane. Recently, I opened Prepar3D and got the following error message from Prepar3D, Can't Init SimConnect - error code 0x80004005. Since getting this error message, ChasePlane will not connect to P3D, with the connection iconography in the top left remaining red. I have done 3 full reinstalls of Prepar3D and have narrowed this down to an issue that occurs after installing ChasePlane. Why is this happening? I have installed all SimConnect packages. I have not done anything wrong on my end. I have tried the expansion beta as well but that has not done anything either.…

I noticed that after installing Chaseplane, I lost about 7 FPS in my simulator. It runs on average 15 FPS. Video settings were already very low and the configuration of the machine was not being used to the maximum. (See print) https://imgur.com/a/DUdwy6D

Hello, I am having an issue with chase plane that is affecting my whole sim. I usually press my middle mouse button to pan around my camera however it has become increasingly harder to move around and I need to press the MMB hard and harder to pan around. Thats not right, any solutions?

Hello, The Chaseplane HDR over ride function is not covered in the manual and its purpose is not clear to me. Looks like some folks had it turned on without knowing and had issues with their graphics appearance. As mentioned in a recent post, it over rides the setting in P3d, but why would one want to do that in Chaseplane, as opposed to adjusting it in P3d? Is it simply a matter of convenience? Does it apply some custom effect to a given preset, or change the values of HDR for the entire sim, as does the P3d setting? Again just not sure about why this function is in Chaseplane, or how it is meant to be used. Thanks Greg
