Hello there I have saved a flight with chaseplane running. Its just a pilot view on the main central monitor. I have a monitor that is to the physical left of the main monitor. I have opened new view/aircraft/left wing/undocked and dragged that window to the LH monitor. I then save the flight. On the next load of that saved flight, P3d loads the 2 saved windows (Flightdeck in centre monitor) but the LH monoitor displats a zoomed out VC, not the wing view I had saved. Listed under Views. in the P3D menu drop down, is ONBOARD (Chaseplane) View 00 and where the wing view is supposed to be is ONBOARD (Chaseplane) view 01 Was wondering if its possible to …

Hello, My issue deals with 'Chase Plane' as I'm having an issue on how to stop 'camera image growth' which is articulated by movement angles either in the air (banks, climbing or descending) or on the ground while being pushed backed from a gate. My first question is whether or not an option already exists to control this particular issue to lock the 'preset' camera image in place so as not to affect the image position? If so, are you able to help me navigate to it to apply my preferences? Richard Rice

Hi Keven - Migrated to P3Dv4.1 this fall, and Chaseplane has been running fine with most aircraft, including the F11 spot and F12 top down views that you re-enabled last spring for all sims. But after installing the new FSL A320-X for P3Dv4.1, and importing my P3Dv3 CP presets for the A320, ran into a strange problem. All the CP on-board, outside and static camera presets work fine, but the F11 spot and F12 top down views now don't work. Instead they show two different cockpit camera views, similar but not identical to my CP onboard camera views. I realize I can create a pseudo-locked spot outside view in CP using gimbal, but I miss the top down view. I am …

I have installed P3d v. 4.4 and CP now says it cannot connect to SimConect. The sim then closes and will not start again until I make changes in the sim. Not sure if this is a CP issue or not, but sometime evrything works until I close the sim and then the problem comes back.

Hello, I installed the Chaseplane for the professional A320 aircraft, the latest version of Aerosoft. However, when opening the simulator the initial camera that appears is that of the cabin of the aeronae, where it shows the seats and the door of the cockpit. There would be some way that the initial screen was the same one configured in the Chaseplane, in this case, that of the pilot's view, ie in the simulator menu, the initialize in "cockpit> onboard (ChasePlane)", since it is initializing in the simulator menu like "Custom> OutSide (ChasePlane)? I did not add the images in this post. How to do this? Thank you

During P3D replay (not ChasePlane replay) Chase plane does not work at all, cannot select views or pan. This only started to happen after the P3D 4.4 update, but before the update there were no issues. Any idea what the problem is and if there will be a fix?

This is now a MAJOR problem for me as I cannot use the sim at all while this load takes place (or hang) and have lost hours of my time already (I found today if you wait long enough it seems to start but did not know that before so kept restarting it). Recently CP often crashes during flying (loses focus rather and has to be restarted to see the plane views). At the moment it refuses to start saying "waiting for computer ID" or something. (Restarting CP manually is not much of a pain unless during landing or circuits IF it loads very quickly.) Thought I'd load VFX Central and reinstall but that does not work either! Hello! I have a problem. Since I install Aerosoft A319 PRO + Chaseplane into my sim (P3Dv4) a long time ago. When I start flight, the camera is Custom Otside (ChasePlane) mode. I use same preset for the Aerosoft A320/321 PRO, but it is working normal Cocpit On-Board (ChasePlane) mode after loading a plane. Hey Keven, Is it possible to have an option to NOT save the camera position for Static Presets? I like to setup static camera's for a specific task where there current position is not relevant ... for example I want a static camera that moves slowly, but has a rapid pan. Or a static camera moves quickly but a slow pan. But I do NOT want to save location data with the camera ... say for example I want move to an location quickly at a large airport to get the perfect shot, but once I'm at that location I want to switch the camera to a much slower speed/motion. I can't do this with Preset because I'll be relocated. On a side note, is there anyway to reduce the …

Dear all, I have installed ChasePlane via the link so no need to activate with key. VFXCentral shows ChasePlane as active and green.. Inside Prepar3D have found no way to bring up the user interface. The mouse middle wheel doesn't work There is no "Toggle UI" key assignment in "Assign Controls" in the settings of Prepar3D .. I have no idea about how to finally get to see this software inside P3D. Hi, Is there a way to set up the cockpit movements to respond to taxi etc.. EG up and down when going over an uneven taxi way or slightly drops forward on the nose in the response to braking. Thank you Dave

So I just re-set my computer in a attempt to clear out all of the files so it would be usable until I can afford a new one. After downloading everything and attempting to start VFXCentral to start the download on chase plane in about 20 seconds it pops up with a little screen that says An error occurred (WMI) ive tried everything even looked at some solutions on the forum but nothing seems to be working. Just got chaseplane, love the UI and how smooth and easy it is, however was a little disappointed about the issues with motion effects on the Majestic Dash8, been playing with the settings but cant seem to dial a good motion effect for a pilots view, would someone care to post their motion settings to help me get a better ground roll and landing effect.

Also a problem with the new version on my 3 screen Surround system. When I start P3d and chaseplane, the virtual cockpit screen is fine. Burt if I try to switch to external view, it shows me the airplane cabin instead of my normal external view (this is with A320 but same behavior with other plane). If I make the following sequence with 2 consecutive Chaseplane shudown and restart, I can solve the problem. First restart: ========= - Put enabled advance settings to OFF - close and restart Chaseplane. This solve the external view but now the VC cockpit view is overzoomed. second restart ============ - put back enabled a…

In Preferences/Control Assignments I have forward/back/left/right assigned to the keyboard arrow keys and this works fine in the A2A C 172. I imported the presets into the A2A PA28 and they all work except the arrow keys dont move the view left/right/forward/back. I tried importing the assigments into the C182 and they work fine, looks like just don’t work in the Cherokee. Haven’t trued any other aircraft. Tried restarting everything, including PC restart but same issue. Tried disabling the advanced features but same issue. Any ideas as to what I’m not doing right or how to fix? Hi Keven, I am re-installing all of my airport sceneries for P3Dv4.4 but Chaseplane will now only give me views outside the aircraft for all of my presets. The key presses are moving the camera as though correct but always outside, What am I doing wrong? Cheers, Richard

Just fired up my sim and now I cannot pan around the VC with my middle mouse button, cannot select any view presets for the aircraft and the process "ChasePlane_Bridge" is now consuming over 2GB of memory and climbing constantly. Can we please revert back to the previous version???? I can't even fly now. Thanks.

After updating, I can no longer scroll between my external preset views. (internal presets are fine) I tried reverting from experimental and I do then get the external views but no smooth transitions between presets on either internal or external. I had no problems before the update. I have tried restarting chaseplane and rebooting windows but to no avail. Please help!

Hi, Recently purchased Chaseplane. Since then, everytime I start a flight with the FSX standard C172, the panel shows no gauges, only empty holes through which I can see the apron in front of the plane. I need to re-select the C172 to get it right again. Any idea how I can avoid this problem ? Thanks in adavance
