Hi everyone i've got a problem since v1.0.31 (non experimental). Chase Plane works perfectly since i start active sky for p3d v4.4 (latest built). At that time external view doesn't work anymore. Do you have any solution? thanks in advance Matteo

Hi, I've been a ChasePlane user a few years now and like it a lot, but I see EZDOK v3 has just come out and has a lot of cool features, one of which being the new turbulence effects which interface with Active Sky. I was wondering if this might be possible in Chaseplane in a future update. As it is now, I have to turn the wind effects all the way down because it just results in a constant shaking as a function of wind speed, which is not realistic. I have flown in 150-knot winds aloft and had a ride smooth as butter, and also been beat up in light winds. It depends on many factors such as the bending of the jetstream, encroaching frontal boundaries, etc. Obviously th…

Hi, maybe there is an easy way, but I havn't found one. I saw in different videos, that it is possible to disable clipping. In some my views chaseplane clips wings(outside) or seats(inside). Is there a switch that I have overseen? in my cameras.cfg in P3Dv4 I tried to disably it by seeting to none, but nothing happened. Many thanks! Cheers!

Hi there! The title already explains what I do, problem is, that everytime I start P3D, and ChasePlane loads with it, it configures my FSX.cfg file (wideview entry, etc.). How can I stop that? Thanks in advance for your help!

So, a while back, I mentioned stuttering on P3D v3.4.18.19475 with ChasePlane. I said that it isn't P3D's fault, as if I use P3D's default camera its silky smooth. I switched to ChasePlane beta and still stutters occur. I remember installing a freeware add-on scenery (KONT) and i noticed stuttering on ChasePlane. I removed the add-on scenery and its still affecting ChasePlane I heard if you set AffinityMask to a number thats compatible with your system, it'll stop ChasePlane from stuttering. I set Affinitymask to 64 and its silky smooth. But, now i have a new problem. The ground textures are poor resolution, and ground buildings take FOREVER to load. In order t…

The VC camera frequently freezes up. I can go to spot and all is well however a return to the cockpit reveals the camera is locked in one position. I have to disconnect ChasePlane and then reconnect to free up the camera. I use TrackIR, Windows 7, P3Dv4. It does not matter which plane I use. I am nearing the point of uninstalling CP. I really only use CP for the motion effects. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

hello If I was to export presets camera positions to another aircraft how or is it possible to export the assignments (keys or joystick buttons) that I have used with the presets? Clive Alexander

This problem starts to really hit my nerves. If chaseplane is open, p3d running and one does windows key commands like ctrl+alt+delete for taskmanager it seems to disturb how chaseplane reads input commands. Now the assigned buttons dont work anymore because it still detects that the keys would be pressed, resulting in things like this I dont press the delete anymore. But chaseplane things it would be pressed, resulting in nothing working anymore. A restart of CP works but that is a real hassle in my case because i start it with an affinity mask to not run on core 1. That means i have to start CP and always go into taskmanager and reset the AM. T…

Hi all I have been encountering a rather crippling issue with Chaseplane that renders not just the Simulator but my entire PC unusable, requiring a restart. In effect my mouse stops responding properly and lags out, the mouse buttons stop working and movement of the Curser is out of sync and makes continual beeping noises as it edges it's way across the screen. I am moving Chase Plane to a new computer. I uninstalled it via vfxcentral on the old computer and reinstalled it on the new via vfxcentral but get a dialog that says "Something unexpected happened etc.". Chase Plane won' even start. Do I need to activate with the license key? If so, I can't find the email with the key. Can you send a key if this is the problem? The biggest possible improvement /feature I would love to have in CP would be the option to HIDE MOUSE CURSOR every time I select a saved view position. Also to work with cinematic feature. It's so annoying for those of us who try to make pretty videos of our flights constantly having that darn ugly cursor center screen for several seconds after we change view. I would be happy if it worked with every single change of view as all you need do is move the mouse a fraction to get it back anyway. To save it reappearing due to vibration or minor accidental touches it could have a sensitivity setting requiring an obvious user mouse input to reactivate. Every time I edit a…

Hi Friends and Folks, I've set a good presets for VC (Captain seat, f/o seat, pedestal, etc) but when the plane is fly, banking left or right, the camera moves slight left or right, and it has been different position like i set before. How to keep the camera still in the position?

Hi, Why is it that only VC cameras is respecting my 25HZ (=25fps) ? Sometimes but not all of the time outside cams is at 25-39fps making it a stutter mess. It has always being like this but sorry to bring this up at a very late state of developement. Not sure when and why this happens Thanks Michael Moe

@Keven Menard, I bought the ChasePlane Beta today as a replacement for Ezdok v1.15 (the original) I have been using for years now. Thank you so much for your work in creating a worthy successor! In trying to set-up ChasePlane to my liking, I came across some feedback items I would very much like to see addressed in the final version if possible. ...before starting Chaseplane. I've never had to do this before. I used to simply start P3DV4.4 and Chaseplane automatically started (without telling me to start VFX first). I thought I set VFX to not start automatically with P3DV4.4...perhaps I misunderstood this setting? Anyway, how do I setup Chaseplane to start without VFX telling me I have to start it first?

Greetings, After 2+ years I just did a complete clean install of Win 10 Home on my pc. I loaded the latest version of P3Dv4. I installed VFXCentralI went to OldProp, signed in and my existing purchases all show up. I clicked on precip FX direct install and it downloaded and installed. I tried the same with ChasePlane and a popup comes up and says "ChasePlane require the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages or more recent to be installed. Please refer to your product's manual." Also, VFXCentral isn't launching automatically when I start PD3v4. I unchecked the option in preferences and then checked it again, with no luck. Hi all I've done some searches but have not been able to find a solution. I've just upgraded to an Acer 38 Ultrawide. Everything is great except panning. Neither HAT nor mouse panning works other than a super delayed super slow juddery pan. HAT is worse than mouse but both unusable. I've checked for conflicts, cleared the cache, not sure what else to try. Normal preset changes work fine. FPS is steady around 60. Help please!

Any reason why this is ? It is perfectly smooth with any other addon. I have well over 60 fps in exterior views, but all exterior Chaseplane views are stuttering and zooming in and out is very jerky indeed ! Thnx

I am having an issue with Chase Plane(using P3Dv4) periodically has view changes slowing to an absolute crawl - sometimes taking well over 30 secs. I'm still learning the 737NGX. I'm running three monitors, I have P3D in the centre. I'm watching the Angle of Attack training videos on the left and have dropbox on the right with flight plans and charts etc. Everything works fine but after a while especially the view change on chase plane slows to the point it is unusable. Seems to occur when I click back to P3D having been on one of the other windows. I thought it might be memory or CPU overload but with task manager open watching the numbers …

Hello, I recently did a clean reinstall of P3D 4.4 and ChasePlane. Since then the joystick buttons assigned to view changes in ChasePlane only work when a particular P3D view is in focus. Sometimes it's the main view, sometimes another. When clicking away from that view controls no longer work. I've seen multiple very old posts with this issue, I think Windows update issues and such, but I actually had never seen it before in the earlier P3D 4 versions. Thanks for any help, Matthias

Kevin, a minor bug I believe: Camera->Advanced->Mouse->Mouse/Controller->Any Slider->Apply to every Preset doesn't work Camera->Advanced->Controller->Mouse/Controller->Any Slider->Apply to every Preset doesn't work Apply to all with same name also does not work under Mouse/Controller. Hello, I've been facing a problem in which the ChasePlane mouselook suddenly comes on at random instances, and there is no way to get out of this mode. I do not have a key/button binding for it. I pan with the middle mouse button normally, but sometimes ChasePlane will randomly go into mouse look mode meaning I can no longer control the cursor for the sim. Binding a mouselook toggle button did not help. The only way to get out of it is to restart Chaseplane, which is highly inconvenient as the only way to do it is by force closing it through ctrl+alt+del, which interrupts the sim. I'm using FSX, non SE. Thank You!

Hello All, I was wondering if there is a way to modify the direction of panning during a transition from one preset to another. For example: I have left (PAN: -105) and right (PAN: 105) view presets. When I am on the right preset and select the left preset, the transition goes through the back of the plane rather than the front. This makes it look like my head is capable of doing a full 360 and is disorienting. I would like it go go from right to left across the front of my plane like a normal head/neck would move.
