Hello Chaseplane support I have a few comments, compliments and questions... I'll start with the compliments :) Coming from a very short-lived and frustrating experience with your direct competitors - the name starts with EZ... - I must say it was refreshing to find a company that knows what it's doing. Chaseplane is a BIG game-changer for any simmer. There's the quality of the idea, the work behind the idea, but also the great support you provide customers. Support is my line of work, so I know how important it is, for any product, to be attentive to customer feedback... however unpleasant it is. Whenever I switch views or sometimes when I pan around I get a flickering black box for a couple seconds. It seems to be worse with the fslabs a320. Any one else have this issue? I'm on a fresh install of 4.5. Is this a fslabs, chaseplane, or p3d issue?

Purchased ChasePlane for a new PC running P3D, works fantastic ! Decided to also purchase and install a new licenced copy for my old FSX PC. as well. Now when I revert to the new PC I get a message saying my licence has expired ? My email Account is the same on both PCs How can I fix the above issue on my ChasePlane account Thanks Mike

I have never had any issue with Chase Plane with P3D and have done something to change the settings; probably on P3D V4 (not 4.5). Just can't see what I did. Normally for the view on my setting, I get the instrument cluster with a close up of the navigation instruments... usually the GTN750. Now I get the GTN only on every aircraft and an outside view only. I checked the presets on Chase Plane. All OK. So it must be something I clicked on P3D. I can't see what. On the setting bar- option Vehicle- I see that clicked the GTN. When I unclick it- the GTN goes away but I still only have an outside view without the instrument panel. When I restart- the GTN option on the …

In my PMDG 737, I would like to assign the Centre Pedestal view to a hotkey. Is this possible, and if so would someone be kind enough to tell me how to do it. Thanks in advance. Martin

I am curious, before I install, what happens to the numerical answers to ATC? Do those number keys still work after a ChasePlane install or do they get overwritten by the install? I'm a tad confused by the manual. Lee

Hi Keven, Great first start at the Replay feature. A few items I noted (you may already be aware of or I might not be operating the system correctly): 1. Paused my flight (Q400) shortly after takeoff about 1000ft AGL and ran the replay, all good except when I returned to continue my flight the Q400 was on the ground travelling at 200 Kts thru the terring and not in the air where I left it. 2. I wasn't able to change the replay duration from 1200sec -- is this hard coded or is their a config files setting I can adjust value - note I can enter a new value but it always reverts back to 1200. 3. I am on the latest chase plane and the middle mouse button is not working when trying to pan. as well as when one of my USB devices disconnects chaseplane pans to the ceiling of the AC. Edit: found out that borderless gaming mode causes the MMB not to work. and restarting CP after loading in a flight fixes the issue temporarily. I still have the second issue though.

Hello, I am in p3dv4.5+ HF1 and have a long narrow black box flashing across the middle of the screen. I never noticed this problem before installing chaseplane. Any idea what it could be? It is definitely breaking the immersion for me. Other than that, chaseplane is a great piece of software.

I'm sorry that my first post is a bit of a rant, but can you please make sure that your revenue protection systems do what they say they do and, if you can't, errr on the side of the customer? I bought ChasePlane a week or so ago, running on Win7. I've also just ordered an Oculus VR thingymajig and, when running the hardware compatibility tester from Oculus, was informed I would need to upgrade to Win 10. Having specifically remembered that you allow 1 activation every three months, and knowing that I didn't want to "break" that rule, I chose an update (keeping files, apps and settings etc) to Win10 when I would much rather have performed a clean ins…

Hello all, I’ve just updated to the latest Hotfix for P3D V4.5 and I’m having issues with changing from cockpit views to exterior views with ChasePlane. None of my key bindings will take me outside, they do however still work inside the cockpit. Does anybody have any ideas? Many thanks, Jonathan.

Hi. Thanks for ChasePlane. I looked on the P3D forums and Prepar3d doesn't require you to run as an administrator. Could you please add an option when installing to not run as administrator? Also, please allow a custom Documents/AppData location (so that Chaseplane doesn't add settings to the administrator's documents and appdata folders, and then that folder not be used when running it from within P3D as a non-admin user. I saw it mentioned that Chaseplane requires admin rights in order to work, but if Prepar3d can run as a normal user then I would suspect that it would be possible for CP to do this as well. I finally updated P3D to 45. with the latest hotfix, when I ran it a little while ago I got a message that said CP was not compatible. Is there a fix in the works? This is my all-time favorite add-on ever, I hope this gets solved soon. Thanks Keven!

Dear fellow simmers, I have just finished my new build (see signature). Everything is working pretty well, though I might suffer from the mediocre performance some folks encounter with v4.5. Anyway I am able to achieve 25-30 FPS in the 787's VC in heavy weather at LEBL with settings on the higher side, AS16, REX Skyforce and UT-live. But as soon as I start ChasePlane my FPS drop to 3-5. This happens with both the new experimental update and the earlier non-experimental. Has anyone else come across this problem and has eventually found a fix for it? Thanks in advance, Peter

Hello! I cannot find this option, maybe i am missing it, is there any way to make mouse "always" looking around, without clicking or holding buttons? If there's not, it would be nice to have it

When SIM starts it is zoom in at 0.38 and then I have to change cameras to get the zoom back to 0.7, but it still says 0.38 How do I get the same zoom numbers?

Hey is anybody having problems with chaseplane cinematic mode, it's working but it's not fading in and out like before, this all started happening after downloading REX 5 Environment, I checked all the settings in Chaseplane and everything is exactly how I had it before REX5 - Enviro - not sure what to do next. I get screen flickering middle to bottom of the screen flashes black when pressing the middle mouse button to pan around in full screen mode. If i change to windowed border mode it dose not flicker. Suggestions?

I switched to an outside view of an aircraft. I then went into the advanced tab to speed up the camera move. This was at KLAS. I want to move the camera over to the strip to see the new buildings. However, I hit an invisible wall. I thought it was the airport so I tested several other airports and the same issue. Is there a limit on how far the camera can travel from the plane? Is there a mode I am missing?

hey keven i have a problem that i cant use chaseplane beacuse i have a maxium numbers of computer with it i think the things is i went to my friend house and put my account on his computer so he could try out how chaseplane is but i forgot to logout from my computer so want to know can you help me out here so i could use chaseplane from my computer again please ?

Hi, I have Chaseplane v1.0.32 installed on Windows 10pro and on an Inteli7-6850K PC. When I start Chaseplane it hangs on the splash sceen and reports "Finding best network route..." When I initially installed it, it was working fine. I saw 2 older post on the same topic, but did not find an explanation how to solve the issue. The only thing I did, was reset the license through Oldrop. Thanks a lot for the fast reply..
