Managed to get a flight done for about 4 hours. Then ChasePlane starts to crash every minute after loading. As above. It only happens in the virtual cockpit view and I am able to resolve it by uninstalling Chaseplane. I have a MS Forcefeedback joystick. EDIT: this seems to happen only in the PMDG 747

Hi everyone, I've been using Chase Plane for some time now and have been very happy with the product but I was wondering how you all assign your camera positions. At the moment I am using a Saitek yoke and throttle quadrant. I normally assign multiple cockpit views to the 4 cardinal points on the hat switch e.g. captain's view, captain's FMC etc etc to the 270 degree position, overhead views to 0 degree position, and so on. I have up to about 5 or 6 views on each point of the compass which involves a lot of scrolling through each point. I also use Track IR to supplement this, switching on and off as required. I have created a selection of presets for an aircraft but Chaseplane doesn't seem to be uploading all of them into the cloud. Each preset is set to public and is available within the sim. This is the list in my Chaseplane But this is all that is getting through to the cloud Could anyone possibly advise?

Hi, New here and just got ChasePlane. I have a Logitech M705 mouse and it is not so easy to setup. First of all, when clicking the middle mouse button, nothing happens in the cockpit so I am not able to pan. The mouse cursor changes to a magnifying glass. I was able to fix this by going in the SetPoint config panel and changed the middle mouse button from "Zoom" to "Middle button". Now it works, but it is not very stable. Sometimes, ChasePlane gets the click, sometimes not. For zooming, it is not easy to keep the button pressed and roll the wheel at the same time. Rolling often unclicks the button. Hello, Absolutely love this software, can't fly without it. So this is more if a feature request. I'm wondering if you could make it possible that, when importing presets the keybindings could be included in the import. That would make it so much easier, for example, to bring your presets for the PMDG 737-NGXu with no winglets over to the PMDG 737-NGXu, with blended winglets. As it stands now, once you import all the presets you have to go back through all of them and reassign the keybindings.

Hi i used to use FS Recorder to recorder flights which I could create a ‘flight lead’ of whom I could play back and the fly formation off. can I do that with chase plane or is that feature already in P3v4? thanks

Hello All, i'am using a Joystick for Airbus Flights and a Yoke for Boeing flights. Everytime i switch between both i have to reassign the Tilt Up/Down Pan Left/Right to the Hat Switch of the applicable device. Is there any chance two have those assignments linked to a preset profile? As i read in the manual it is not possible to assign buttons to two devices at the same time. Greetings Michael

I switched from Ezdok v3 to Chaseplane and absolutely love it. Two Questions: 1. Ezdok had a motion effect where if the spoilers, gear or flaps are extended, then the VC camera shakes. I do not see that option in Chaseplane.I miss it. 2. Does chaseplane take away FPS. There were numerious people reporting that it does but that was a few years ago. I have the latest chaseplane version and wanted to find out if that has been fixed. Thank you Nikita

I was just wondering if the developers of Chase Plane had ever considered developing the product for Digital Combat Simulator (DCS). If there was ever a title that needed Chase Plane, DCS is it. While there is VR and head tracking like Track IR, both of those solutions, currently, have limitations that make them less than ideal. And, some folks can't use such things due to the need for glasses, for example. I even saw a video of a real world FA-18 pilot who tried DCS and Track IR and did not like Track IR at all. The DCS community seems to be very large and my guess is it would be a very successful product.

Hi, I have Oculus rift S and all the cckpit in P3D 4.5 are at list 1/5 smaller then the real thing. I found on another thread that If I set this value InitialZoom = 6.6 // was 0.7 in camera.cfg I can solve the problem. Unfortunately messing with camera.cfg Chaseplane reset and change this mod. I don't want to loose Chaseplane is there a way that we can implement this option? Thank's for any hint

I have contacted Oldprop after purchasing chase plane and have yet to receive my serial number. Are there other developer products out there? only ParcipFX worked after paying do to not needing a serial. All products seem to be out of date? Are they still developing. Are there other options to chase-plane and Immersion effects? Need something for the new NGXU. Thanks,

I noticed some occasional freezing up in PMDG 737 NGXu . I shut down chaseplane then reload it and everything is fine. Only started doing this since PMDG 737 NGXu was released.

I use P3D v4.5 HF2.I have a problem with Chaseplane which in some way affects the possibility of using short-term shft + 2, shift + 3, etc. I use A2A aircraft and need to open these panel windows. When Chaseplane is run, these commands do not work. When I shut down Chaseplane it works again. The commands are correct in P3D options /Thomas

Right now I use an xbox controller to have each button switch to a different view. I recently purchased a new T16000M throttle/joystick. Would be really cool to leave my xbox controller settings in tact and then use buttons on the new joystick/throttle also. Is there any way it's possible to have the same preset view triggered by two different buttons. IE button A on the xbox or a button on the new joystick both switch to the same view. Is this possible? Hi I updated to latest version. When I load P3d , I get the following message " download corrupt" then I get P3d CTD. I uninstalled chaseplane and reinstalled it but same result.

Upon loading Chaseplane today, I get to the splashscreen and it sits on "Finding best network route"... Was fine yesterday, and my internet is up for everything else so I'm guessing there is a problem with Old Prop servers? Anyone else? (UK based)

Hi all, since several days I have a major performance issue with chaseplane, which suddenly appeared (no changes to P3D and chaseplane was running perfectly for months). While panning or moving around my views I have been getting large numbers of stutters and sometimes there is even no reaction to pan / move inputs for several seconds. It took me some time to follow this back to chaseplane itself. I already tried a lot of thinks (CPU priority / game mode WIN10 on /off etc./ delete all default view controls in P3D / reinstall chaseplane) and the only thing that helped was to deinstall Chaseplane and the problem was resolved (pan and move with default control…

Hi everyone, I could post this in the TrackIR forums, but I figured I'd come here first since Chaseplane has native TrackIR support. My question is rather basic: Are their any "recommended" or popular TrackIR profiles which work well in P3D? I'm at the first stages of setting up my profile and I'm slightly overwhelmed by all the options. In the meantime I'll keep tweaking until I have something I like. Cheers, Louis

Hi all, I am looking for an addon to manage the cameras in P3d v4 in FSLabs A320, PMDG B737,777 and 748. I would take after all the technical information I have Chaseplane. My first question: Does Chaseplane work with these planes? I noticed that the Oldprop homepage has not been maintained for a long time. The last news is from July 2018.
