My simconnect not availalable when Chase Plane tries to connect to sim (P3D). Attached is the report from chase plane, Please someone help me?

Ive had this issue for a while and I know that many of people in P3D experience black flickering in their sim, however im not sure if im experiencing the same or a separate issue. Whenever I pan around in the cockpit the screen will flash black for a millisecond until I release the button that is allowing me to pan using Chase plane. If anyone has any ideas that would be amazing because this problem is serious starting to annoy me to no ends. SPECS - Processor - Intel i9-990l CPU @ 4.00GHZ Memory - 16GB GPU - GeForce RTX 2070 Super SSD - 500 GB / 2TB Hardrive Windows 10

When I move my mouse on the screen the camera view changes in Chase plane. How can I stop this movement?

New to chaseplane and just working my way through all of its functions. An issue I’ve noticed when changing views, for example, going from an outside camera back into the cockpit view, the internal cockpit sound goes a lot quieter, it resolves with a mouse click anywhere on screen. This is happening in the NGXu, haven’t tested other aircraft yet. Any ideas how to fix this issue?

When is the Chase Plane sale? All ORBX products have sales, why you never do. Don't you think there would be a lot more customers? With respect.

Hi there, firstly let me say that I'm very happy about the move to ORBX; no more problems with activations, plus profiles can be stored locally. FANTASTIC! However, an old problem has reared its ugly head again for me again. After the v1.1.67 update, ChasePlane has stopped working in FSX and FSX:SE. I subsequently uninstalled and reinstalled TrackIR software and it worked one day, but the next day it wouldn't work again. The aircraft symbol (top left of ChasePlane software) goes green when I start FSX or FSX:SE, but the TrackIR symbol disappears completely and there is no tracking taking place with only the left green light lit on the TrackIR eye. Hi, i have saved Aircraft.dat, aliases.dat, cache.dat, indexes.dat, preferences.dat and presets.dat from an old install. i have installed my windows10 system and prepar3D4.5 complete new so i changed hardware. (new CPU, new Board, new Ram) how can i import my old datas to work with OrbxCentral - Chaseplane Version. thanks. Thomas

This is a very frustrating thing. I just purchased the Honeycomb yoke a few days ago. I am having flight control problems with all of my payware airplanes. Ailerons and elevator not working properly. I have spent countless hours of weeping and nashing of teeth trying to figure this out. I was assuming that the conflict was between Honeycomb, P3D, and or FSUIPC. Everytime I changed views from in the cockpit to outside the cockpit, the flight controls pretty much stopped working properly. Dear employee, After reinstall P3Dv4, now I want to install Chaseplane again, I've saved the install program, but now I see 3DMark and install path C:\Program Files\Futuremark\3DMark I've cancelled the installation because I don't thrust this installation? Just got the latest update that came thru the orbx FTX. Noticed my transition speeds are all at 1200ms. I felt like in the previous versions there was a way to change that setting and save to every saved view. Is that still possibly?

I just migrated to the Orbx managed CP. I have one suggestion. I noticed that Orbx installs CP into C:\Program Files, but I have a dedicated drive/directory for FSX and addons to make backup easy. Would it be possible to prompt for an installation directory rather than Orbx automatically selecting one? Thanks..

Hello. I’ve linked my license and it shows as such in the orbx software. However I’ve noticed many people have had issues like preset views being deleted when migrating. So I’m not inclined to do it yet. Am I missing out on anything by staying as is? I realize I won’t get updates, but I haven’t heard of any updates being available anyway?

Hi. I have been using ChasePlane for a while now and have set up many cameras for my aircraft. I have watched many FS videos, and most of them show the user moving effortlessly around the cockpit and cabin. They don't seem to be skipping from one preset camera to another. If I want to go to a specific preset I have 2 options: either I have to keep pushing a button on my yoke (assigned to Next View) skipping through all the presets until I reach the one I want; or I have to push the mouse wheel (twice - it never works on the first push) to bring up the ChasePlane preset menu. I never seem to see either of these on YouTube videos. They just seem to be able to wander ef…

Hi, I have no idea what (and where) I have done wrong, but Chaseplane is no more closing with Prepar3d. Never happened since the very beginning 😞 Check/unchecking was unsuccessfull. Experimental or not don't fix it. My version 1.1.62 (from Orbx). Any idea welcome Gérard

I have version 1.1.65 S, which I believe is the latest, migrated to ORBX. However, ORBX Central says the installed version is 1.1.62. When I open CP I get a message saying CP cannot update because it can't access a path to a temp folder that contains the immersion manager .exe file. If I tr to use this file, it tells me I cannot access it. I have reinstalled CP from ORBX and verified files. I saw in another thread that this was a bug that was supposed to be fixed in the latest version. I also get the same type of message if I try to use an aircraft for which I am using Immersion. Is there a way to stop this message?

Hi, long-time happy user of ChasePlane, now migrated successfully. Working beautifully. Since some time, on P3Dv4.5 booting I get a message that ChasePlane cannot connect for updating. In fact, I am stuck at v. 1.1.65. The error message suggests cases (i.e. multiple P3D instances running, or antivirus) which do not seem apply to my case. A solution would most welcome. In the worst case, I would accept to update it manually, but I do find any means to do this in the program. Please advise. Thanks, Giorgio

So I finish work on Friday afternoon looking forward to my weekend off to finally do my first long Haul tomorrow, I open P3D and it is saying I am out of activations?? I have been upgrading my pc (and will be for the next few months) It was working fine last night and now I can't use a product I have PAID FOR! I submitted a ticket and it takes 24-48hours which has thrown my plans out the window!! I was going to get 747 immersion but I will not be buying from them again! No doubt I will have to go through this all again soon as I am upgrading my system further in next months! So angry right now!

After transferring to ORBX, the CP folder is now located at ProgramFiles/Parallel 42. I also have a folder on an other drive where I keep my P3d installation. I presume that is an old installation, can I just dlete that folder? Or should I uninstall everything and start over? What about my presets?

I've been battling stuttering with ChasePlane for months now in P3Dv4, unfortunately. Panning is choppy, even with advanced features off; and default view movement appears to be MUCH smoother. Been pulling my hair out adjusting affinity settings, CPU priority, reinstalling, translucent window, G-Sync/V-Sync, compatibility settings, run as admin, disable full screen optimization, etc. While this isn't a cure-all, I accidentally stumbled upon something that seems to help a little bit. Minimizing the ChasePlane program itself to the Windows task tray seems to noticeably, and more importantly with reproducibility, lessen the stutters. Currently using v1.1.65. …

@Keven Menard I migrated from OldProp to //42 via ORBX and all works fine. The old files are still in: ...\AppData\Roaming\OldProp Solutions inc\ChasePlane The new files are in: ... \AppData\Roaming\Parallel 42\ChasePlane\ Do I still need to keep the old files ? If not, do I simply delete them or is there an uninstall of some type ? I kept a separate back up of the OldProp Solutions inc\ChasePlane just in case.
