Hello, I've tried several things, maybe I didn't figured out how to enable it, but still I've got no motion effect in instant replays. Is it normal? If yes, will that be possible to get motion effects in instant replays in future updates? It's actually quite frustrating to record video with all the other aspect of chase plane, but no motion effect wich is one of the most important thing from the program. Best! M

Good evening, I am using P3D v4.5 running on Windows 10. For the most part things are working flawlessly. However, I’ve noticed some odd behaviour. Every now and again (a number of times during each flight) I hear a tone that sounds like the sound W10 makes when you disconnect a USB device. I know this isn’t related to either Chaseplane or P3D as I hear it when P3D isn’t running. Anyway, just before I hear the noise while flying, the view pans all the way up and then Chaseplane becomes momentarily frozen. I then hear the noise and then I can change views again. Normally I can deal with it if I’m midflight at cruising altitude. However, things get interesting if…

I just installed the above and set both chaseplane and P3D to run as administrator and now P3D won't launch. I updated windows 10 just to be safe. Chaseplane opens fine. When I click P3D the screen comes up and the launch bar starts then the screen goes blank. If I click the P3D icon nothing happens. I have tried restarting and I get the same thing. Can anyone help?TIAChris

Hi, Can someone share the knowledge if it is possible to assign certain mouse movements liken zoom in/out or at least move forward/backward with combination of space bar plus mouse wheel? For the moment I can do zoom in/out but it is very “brutal”. The changes happens per .10, .20, .30 - not smooth at all. Tom

Guys, whats the motion setup you guys use depending on the aircraft type, for example for the 737 vs the c172, I do 1.5 for now but I want something more realistic, some takeoffs the cockpit shakes a lot, please any ideas? just trying to realistic as possible, thanks.

ChasePlane v1.0.43 Exp with P3Dv4.5 I have had this issue for some time but just reporting it now. I notice that whenever I load a new flight scenario, from an existing one, ChasePlane does not work and I always have to close it and start it back up - then everything is OK. Does anyone have experience with this annoying problem?

Warning for anyone that does a PC reinstall. You will wait for days to get the licence enabled again. Who knows how much longer I'll still have to wait...

There were several occasions when I would have liked to have a backup of my presets: - Having changed the settings of a preset and finally deciding I actually prefer the previous setting. - Hitting the "Save preset" button accidentally while moving around the camera. - Automatic saving by chaseplane of advanced settings I just wanted to test. In these cases I'd like to have a backup of my presets to easily revert to the previous setting. With all my other applications I take care of such Backups myself. I'm not sure why this is happening, but everytime I start either VFX Central or ChasePlane it takes a very long time to load up. Around 10 minutes or more... I've had this problem for awhile now and cannot seem to pinpoint exactly why it does this. However I updated to the latest experimental beta build today, but CP gives me a popup window saying an unknown error occured. It's really frustrating to have to wait 10 minutes for it to load up and then give me this message. Any idea what chaseplane is accessing or why my system's HDD/SSD light is constantly on everytime I launch CP? I've had EDTracker for some time but could never get it to work correctly with CP, so it's been on the shelf for the past year. Lately, I've pulled it out and want to give it another go. CP recognizes EDTracker and I can assign the Tilt, Pan and Roll axis without issue. The problem is that when I do move my head the pan, tilt or roll response is incredibly slow. It's similar to having a slow down function for the button on my hat switch. I've tried adjusting the scaling settings in the EDTracker software and that has no effect. Hello I have a small issue here. "Save changes" button is most of teh time greyed out. To be able to save changes, you have to move the sliders all the way left or right and tehn to the positon you actually want. Then teh button comes active again. Nothing big but it can certainly be corrected in a future version. Greg

Hello, The more I'm using ChasePlane in P3Dv4 and learning the available features, the more that I'm feeling that I really need this program in X-Plane 11 too. It's like, if I could get the developer of "Better Pushback" to make his program for P3Dv4 and get you to make your program for X-Plane 11, I would be in sim-heaven for sure 😁 I would gladly buy it again at full price for XP11. I have to say this is my absolute favorite P3D add-on. I can't say how much I love this elegant app, I've been with it since it was first released. But I run both P3D and X-Plane, and I don't know if this was asked so I'll ask, Keven, will this ever be ported to X-Plane? I'd pay double for it right now. Here's hoping. Thanks. Jack

I need help. Two weeks ago I purchased CP . I went through Youtube and this forum to find a way start the CP program correctly. Unfortunately what ever I done it doesn't work. 1- I cannot zoom CP took over. 2- An addition "function panels" stuck with the plane. 3- I cannot control view changes. I know with experience person it can be 2 minutes fix, with me almost two weeks. Many un-install/re-install> I read the manual,also. Thanks

Chaseplane has been giving me nonstop errors recently, either advanced features are disabled when loading the sim, no matter what I do, or the cameras pan and move painstakingly slow if the advanced features aren't disabled.

Keven, I just had a flight going, no ChasePlane, what the heck? So I looked in Task Manager, I had something like four ChasePlanes running. So I had to quit P3D then closed ChasePlane and then it told me there was a fault, don't know what it was. THEN I ran it and you pushed an update! For love or money will you PLEASE give us a heads up or something?!? It totally ruined my flight man.

Hi, I have read through the other posts on this topic and have tried everything!!!! Nothing works!!! My displayed zoom constantly resets to 1.0 and is infuriating... All of the suggested fixes have no effect on my system. I set up my optimum zoom (0.7 in this case) to display the right amount of cockpit I wish. The chase plane system then constantly resets it to 1.0. I'm getting sick of having to get it back to where I wanted it - especially in critical phases of flight!!! Any help if fixing this would be appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!!

Hello, I need help about an issue that happens only withe the Majestic Q400. Each time I select an outiside view, when I re-enter the cockpit views Chase Plane dosen't work anymore: I can't modify the view niether with keyboard, neither with the preset page, I can't scroll from a view to another, it basically kills Chase Plane. If I reaload the Majestic Q400 I will be able to use Chase Plane functionality untill I switch to outside view and it's broken again. I experience the same sound issue describe in the original post. I use latest version of Chase Plane, latest of the Majestic and P3dV4.5. Does someone have the same issue and has find a solution ?…

Hi all. I have just upgraded Prepar3d v4.4 to v4.5 Everything is ok except for chase plane. Chase plane loads up but it doesn't respond to the keyboard commands, or anything else. Is this a common fault with the prepar3d upgrade. Is there a solution? or are we waiting for a chase plane upgrade to solve the problem. Regards Paulh1

hi, it is my 1st day of using chaseplane. now i am calm 🙂 first of all, i would like to say that maybe there should be a sticky topic about bugs. i just updated to 0.3.74 and as the developers say, we should let them know if we find any issues. i use p3d v4 with many many addons (orbx, pilot2atc, utlive etc etc) and 2 planes: pmdg 747 v3 and majestic q400. i have tried chaseplane only in pmdg 747. didn't use all the features of the program, im not so interesting now in the cinematic modes. but i am very very very interested in the onboard cameras. with ease i managed to create 4 presets, head panel, radio panel, throttle panel and a general front view. i h…

Hello guys, Will start this post clarifying that maybe im wrong but I been having issues with the tfdi 717 from day one, I did multiple tickets with them, visited the forums, searched online, etc etc and I cannot enjoy this aircraft due to the switch views CTD's, I have over 20 more aircraft's with no issues so I hardly doubt chase plane will have an impact on this but doesn't hurt to ask and this is my last resource, anyone know if anything possible to do on chase plane to fix the 717 issue? I have chase plane since day one and also the 717 but I haven't been able to do 2 flights together without getting a CTD, thanks for any help and support. P3DV4.4

I watched the video but I just can't make it work. In the video when you created first door and then went through it you ended up in the Outside camera view. When I do the same nothing happens and the camera stays in the On-Board view. If I move a bit back then the camera switches to Static view. Making two portals only complicates things even further. Then the camera starts switching like crazy when going through "portals". I'm messing with it for almost an hour now trying to make a simple two portals entrance/exit.. I think I tried every combination, I just don't get it.
