ChasePlane Support

Hi how can import the default FSLAB cockpit views to chase plane ? For example the FO view , CPT , MCDU , ECAM ? I try to replicate the default cockpit view but I can't seem to get the exact match .

I am a happy beta user of CP after using EZdok for many years. Today I am using CP with TIR. All TIR preferences of CP set up enabled. However it seems, that's what I read on the forum too, that these two are interfering each other. Working alone, no problems. I aslo followed a lot of suggestions to try, but no luck. It even forced me to reinstall TIR. I have attached a short movie to let you see what I face. I hope there will be a solution for it. Just wondering why in ChasePlane the camera doesn't pan in static mode during replay. It's locked. Anyone?

I could not figure out why Pan View with joystick HAT button setup in FSUIPC5 would not work. I contacted FSUIPC support and discovered that there is something in ChasePlane that is interfering with that setup. So I uninstalled ChasePlane and ran my P3Dv4.5 with FSUIPC5 and the Pan View worked well. Then I reinstalled ChasePlane, restarted my PC, then ran P3D again and the Pan View would not work. So I was wondering if this is a known issue with ChasePlane and if there is a fix for it - maybe some dll file is interfering?

Hi I often have problem with the camera position, when I load Chace Plane. I have to ajust the position, and then when I use the PGup/PGdn key it start th Rewers throttle, and when i use my arrow keys it disconnects the autopilot. What can I do to solve this problem B.g Steen Hoejengaard

Hello, Greetings! I am writing to inquire about a screen flickering issue which occurs in a particular airport scenery but not everytime. The link below is a video demonstrating the issue: As you may have noticed, the flickering went away after closing Chaseplane. But at the moment I am still not sure whether it is really a culprit since it may be a coincidence. However, is it possible that the flickering is caused by camera related settings, like the parameter in camera.cfg? Anson

Hi Kevan - FSDT just released a major GSX v2.6 update that includes additional first person custom camera views from tugs, loaders etc. However there have been reports from Chaseplane users (e.g. http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,21116.0.htm) that the new views don't locate properly - I've encountered this also. Wanted to make sure you were aware, and see if a fix is possible. Chuck O

Hi When switching between views in ChasePlane, the fps is dropped for a few seconds, then back to normal, it also happens when we fast switching a view to another, do you have any idea that causes this drop of fps ? I didn't have this problem before. Thanks

When looking at the aircraft drop down list it says the amount of views for each aircraft, the FSL A320 IAE has 44 while the CFM has 26 (as it should be for both) but the additional cameras in the IAE are not listed anywhere. Is it possible to reset all of the views for a specific aircraft without deleting them manually? I tried deleting them manually by pressing the red X but the 'extra' views still remain. Thanks.

Hi i am using p3d v.5 along with chaseplane. When i get to cruise level in sim the aircraft jumps from VC to outside view. around every 10 mins The only way i can get view back to VC is to press mouse button. It does this with any aircraft i use eg pmdg, aerosoft, fslabs. I am not sure if its p3d v.4.5 or chase plane, or a bug conflicting my mouse. Any help appreciated, as i dont want to go down the road of a complete re-install of everything. i am also using saitek rudders and flight yoke. Thanks stevie

I've had a search for this but couldn't find anything conclusive. It does not seem to be possible, but I'd like to map the "zoom in" and "zoom out" commands to two separate controllers simultaneously: The up/down rocker switch on my Saitek yoke, for use when flying around with TrackIR. The shoulder buttons on my PS3 Controller (emulated as an Xbox 360 controller) for use with general camera movement and manipulation. I use the PS3 controller for smoothly flying the camera around with the two joysticks, and would like to be able to change the zoom without having to let go to grab the yoke. Hi, I'm having an issue since the latest update released today: It's now impossible to cycle through presets that are using the same hotkey; pretty problematic as I always use the same hotkey for sub-views like forward overhead, afterward overhead...etc

This morning (Saturday, June 15) ChasePlane updated -- I am setup to receive experimental updates. When launching P3Dv4.5 I noticed that ChasePlane was no longer connecting to TrackIR. I promptly deselected the "Experimental Update" option, restarted and received the most recent stable/non-experimental version... and TrackIR worked again. Just letting you know. Not sure if this is isolated to me or not.

Hi, the camera position does not work after a normal start. All the saved views were inside the aircraft. I have to restart the chaseplane client, and than it works. Is there any trick? Best Michael

I tried the Replay feature (using the latest exp. version) using the PMDG 777...but the thing is, I started it after I had already shut down the A/C. Which was a bad idea. What's the recommended procedure here to replay the landings and still show most of the animations? Right after vacating the runway~pause~then run the replay thru CP?

Hello, Is the Q400 supposed to work with ChasePlane? I never get problem with ChasePlane but with The Dash it seems P3D4.5 is crashing very often during flight! (P3D is closing!) I use Windows 10 1903. When I desactivate ChasePlane and launch only P3D i have no crash... Thanks for you advices or support.

Hello, I completed my first flight with P3d 4.5, landed, stopped the aircraft on the runway and then entered Chaseplane playback mode. It worked well. But after exiting playback mode after it completed playback, the airplane suddenly started spinning and vibrating violently on the runway. it spun like a top. Nothing I could do resolved it, so I terminated P3d. Never had this happen before. Greg

Ok, I am getting po'd with Chaseplane. I love the program, but with P3D V4.5, for some unknown effin reason. my cockpit camera presets won't cycle. The outside presets can cycle through, but NOT the in cockpit ones. I have used in regular and experimental modes. So frustrating 😞 It always worked perfectly before I updated to 4.5 Bruce

Hi all, how long did it take some of you to get a reset? requested mine more than 48 hours ago.

Used to be able to do this with my X box controller. Worked a few minutes ago, then P3D crashed and I lost that ability because it wasn't saved. Would be nice to have again. Edit: I found that I can circle the AI aircraft left or right at a fixed distance only after I select an outside camera. Zoom and up & down are disabled. I seem to remember being able to move up and down (over and under the AI aircraft) before. The ability to zoom has never worked.

Dear All, I have tried different clipmodes, different p3d setting but the flickering of texture still there. If the aircraft moves the flickering starts, if the aircraft stand still no flickering. Any Idea? Best regards Oliver

What I need help with is the motion where you (for example) are in the PIC - looking straight ahead and want to use your hat switch to pan down to the throttle. I am thinking about an Airbus where your throttle position is important as you transition on takeoff from Flex thrust to "normal thrust" and you need to look to verify the position. The pan view tends to continue on slowly after I intend to stop. I have re-read the manual this morning and not sure where you change this to stop where you want it to stop. I think it is Inertia, but I am not sure. I want the view to stop moving as soon as I release the hat switch. The slow to stop motion is not for me. …
