Hello, I was used to get very frequent updates up to one month ago. I have the version v0.4.204 of 18 april, experimental ON and Advanced ON. Is it the current one ? Thanks Gérard

Hi Keven I was curious now that P3Dv4.2 has been released is there any possibility to enable a zoom feature in Native VR that would mimic what FlyInside has for P3D? I find this zoom toggle feature with its quick zoom in and out capability invaluable. If this feature were available with ChasePlane in Native VR coupled with the new abilities to import Windows with Oculus Dash I wouldn’t have to trade off what I love about CP and Native VR particularly now with the single pass renedering capability of version 4.2. Any thoughts? Joe

Hi, I have my zoom level in chaseplane (camera>controls) set to 0.494, right click "zoom and make default. When I open P3Dv4.5 and place the a/c at any airport I get information on the upper right corner of the monitor e.g Cockpit View, Onboard (Chase Plane) and "0.3 Zoom". This Zoom level does NOT change to the zoom level in Chaseplane, but remains constant 0.3. Is that NORMAL? Thanks for response

hi there I have latest version 1.038 ex , just noticed that if you use named presets with one name repeated in another ie pilot and copilot Chaseplane is picking up both buttons ie if I set but 3 on my joystick for pilot and a different one for copilot the one for pilot cycles both pilot and copilot views. however the button for copilot just does the copilot view. Not a big issue but thought I'd mention it as a possible fix at some stage might be worthwhile. On a positive not the app is really impressive, worth the cost. Brian

My monitor has an aspect ratio of 2.38 (3440x1440). If I set the zoom=1 and view the Manage Cameras option I see the horizontal and vertical FOV (of the current active window). However the ratio between the HFOV and the VFOV is not 2.38 but 2.18. I would appreciate an explanation as to why this is happening. I have the most recent CP--Thanks

Hi All, Just wondering is there anyway we can share Camera Sets we have created for specific aircraft with each other? I know the community share feature will be added in a later release but it would be nice if we could upload and download camera sets manually, for example by posting them here. is that possible?

I just loaded P3Dv4.4 and found that CP had not loaded. Went and tried manually, but no action. Before I start with uninstalling and reloading etc, can you confirm the main frame is working?

I must have some how updated Chaseplane to P3Dv4.5 version...but i still only have P3Dv4.4. As chase plan not too happy with this move, how do i roll back the update to .37 until such times I update P3Dv4 to v4.5?

As stated in title, if I disable the "minimise to taskbar" in preferences, then pressing my "toggle UI" shortcut doesn't bring up the Chaseplane UI. Will hide it though if it's already showing.

I reinstalled Win 10 and P3D, as well as all of my add-ons. When i go to run chase plane I am greeted with the "Something unexpected happened" error message. I have .NET framework and C++ Visual installed on the machine...

Hi Kevin I have the PMDG 737 NGX, 777, 747-400, and 747-8 installed on my system. Up until recently all PMDG A/C were working well with my GoFlight Equipment and the PollyPot software that enables my MCP and EFIS GoFlight Modules to function. Recently, the 747 series stopped working with these modules, however, the 737 and 777 still function. I suspect that during one of my P3D v4.4 sessions, with Chase Plane running, P3D experienced a CTD that may have corrupted one of the 747 files your app modifies? Could you let me know what those files are in the 737, 777, and 747 are so I can back them up in case another CTD happens? Bill Clark

-When i select an outside view, it goes to the middle of the aircraft, and i am unable to move the aircraft -When starting up my computer, launching prepar3d, then launching chaseplane, it works, i tab out once and it stops working

Hi all! I plan to fly shared cockpit (majestic dash 8) with a friend of mine and for this prupose I want to setup a profile for the Captain´s seat and one for the First officer´s seat. Is it possible to setup different profiles on one airplane in chaseplane? (You can toggle between profiles of differetent aircrafts in the preset section) So I want to have my Dash 8 and I want to have two profiles (Captain and FO) that I can apply by toggling profiles in the profile-bar of Chaseplane! I'm looking for a way to automate the switch between stock setup (default views) and Chaseplane. Sometimes I fly with the keyboard so need those default assignments kept. Then when I use my HOTAS I'd like to enable Chaseplane along with the changed keyboard mappings. So a way to script the switch would be good enough if that is possible. I need to be able to switch back and forth before starting a P3D session. Any ideas are welcome.

Is there any way of disabling button 9 (mode switch) on the saitek yoke, aswhen trying to assign a button to a camera button 9 of the saitek yoke keeps assigning itself (as it constantly connected). This is a problem when trying to assign other buttons on the yoke. Cheers John

After Chaseplane updated itself to v1.0.19, I can no longer switch back to pilot view after going to one of the default FSX external views (using the 'S' key). EDIT: I restarted everything and now it seems to work (tried to delete this post as it is no longer relevant, but couldn't)

Hi, It has been 6 months since I purchased CP (Chase plane) and till now I'm facing an issue with the preset views in it... In every aircraft, in any preset view, if the aircraft is turning right, the preset view of the FMC "moves away" from its original position as it was in the ground until the time of takeoff... If the aircraft is turning left, all the views move away from the original position... This in a way is very annoying as I have to switch from FSX's fullscreen and open CP to reset the view back every time this happens... Any response ASAP would be greatly appreciated... Hello, I have the latest Chaseplane version (1.0.24) installed with P3D 4.4. There is now the following odd behaviour: Whenever I manually zoom in or out with the +/- keys the viewe autmotically jumps back to the Chaseplane preset fromwhere I have started the manual zoom in or out. This alwas happens after about 10-15 seconds. This happens NOT depending on the aircraft, but only when Chaseplane is active. What could cause this and how could remove this odd behaviour? I move the VC eyepoint with my mouse and the shadows is falling my viewpoint.....I haven't changed anything other than going to P3D 4.5 and I've never had this problem before. Its like I'm in a bubble

I have following problem with Chaseplane. In cockpit view Chseplane automaticaly zoom in my view always to the same setting 0,50. Whatever view zoom is adjusted manually bymeans mouse wheel after few seconds automatically zoom in to 0,50. I can not find the solution in manual .I am Chaseplane user just for few days it look to be great product but this zooming is so frustrating. Appreciate any advice. I am P3dv4 user ,aircraft Q400 from Majesic

Hi there, Apologies if I'm being stupid here but ever since updating to 4.5 my cursor is moving whenever I hold down the middle mouse button which causes it to then move to my other monitor when trying to pan around. Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers, Mungo

Hello guys! I've been on the chaseplane for a long time, and I've never had any problems. More after I had to format my computer, and install everything again, the chaseplane is not working as before. It takes time to open when I open my p3d, and does not automatically close when I exit p3d. This cost me several reinstallations and even a "reset key." 😞
