ChasePlane Support

Hi all ChasePlane has been acting weird these past few weeks and I don't know why. I will start my sim like usual and start preflight, when all of a sudden my camera stops working. I use the in-sim UI to see that I have no camera presets at all. If I go to the actual ChasePlane program, it does show all my presets. I can't use CP at all until it fixes itself which took around 15 minutes yesterday. Restarting CP doesn't even fix the problem. The only way to fix it is just wait. Running P3D v4.3 and tried both experimental and stable CP. Has this problem been seen before?

Hi I trying to test flyinside with Chaseplane, but got stuck with this message. Reading in different thread they Advice to unistall Chaseplane . I not going to do so is there any other option? VR is really fantastic and maybe CP should take care of those other tool to work together.

Most probably this has been asked before, but I unfortunately cannot find any message about it. So here we go. How can I delete a set of presets assigned to a certain (or more) aircraft? Thanks, Hans

Hello, I completely have no idea what I did, but one day, I start up P3D and Chaseplane fails to auto-lanuch beside it. I have checked the settings and auto-launch for the correct sim is checked. I even reinstalled chaseplane but with no success. Has anyone else had this issue and maybe know the solution to this? Many thanks, Acer

G'day everyone, I'm loving ChasePlane and using it for all my flights in P3D. My only problem so far is getting it to register a view in the rear cabin of my Flight 1 King Air B200. I move the view to the seat I want in the passenger cabin, update the preset position but it always snaps back to the pilots position. I even tried setting it up by moving the camera from the pilot's position to the rear cabin using the CP movement keys and the result was the same. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Kevin I ask this question in a previous post but didn't receive a reply so I'll try again. I notice Chase Plane makes a backup of the P3D config file and the P3D cameras config file. I see the 3 additional entries at the beginning of the camera config file but didn't find any differences in the P3d config file. Can you tell me what CP changes in the P3D config file? I am still trying to figure out how to re-install Chase Plane and load my previously created presets before I re-imaged my drive to a state prior to installing CP. Also I use Simstarter NG and they create a backup to my P3D config file as they make minor edits but now I see Chase Plane ba…

Hello, I by mistake deleted some views from a profile. As Chaseplane saves everything in the cloud, and has a local backup, apparently restoring local backup isn't possible: if I do that ( restore \AppData\Roaming\OldProp Solutions inc\ChasePlane\0.4.0), it just says there is a discrepancy and it will sync with the cloud, and deletes again all over again. What do I do? Thank you

I've had CP for a long time and in all that time the external views of the aircraft have been fine. But in recent weeks something has changed and I can't work out how to fix it. When I switch to external view using R it switches to the outside view and all is fine. But I have multiple views all linked to F and that's the problem. Pressing F switches to a view that doesn't initially show the aircraft but then it moves into view in a couple of seconds. Same for all the other external views. Hi, I received my Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controls / Yoke and I am trying to integrate it with ChasePlane. I have installed a Saitek X52 Professional HOTAS and used the side-stick POV for (P0 - tilt up, P180 - tilt down, P270 - pan left & P90 - pan right); the B5 button for (Toggle IN/Out Camera) and the buttons B22 / B20 button for (Previous Preset / Next/Preset). Is there a way to save this assignment/profile for flying with the side-stick (Airbus) and loading a different assignment/profile for the Alpha Yoke when I fly a Boeing aircraft. I've been using ChasePlane since long time ago. The last Prepar3D update gave an strange issue with Cinematic Mode. I use many 3rd party aircraft (such as PMDG, QW, Feelthere, Carenado). When I change to Cinematic Mode, none of them, not even the default ones are working as expected. The zoom level is too far, I can't even see the airplane. I noticed that only my Carenado ATR 72-500 is showing correctly on Cinematic Mode. Is There something that I'm missing? Someone else facing the same problem?

I tried my best to recreate this view but just couldn't match the original.

This only happens with the PMDG 737 NGX. ChasePlane shows it's connected, but I can't move around inside the cockpit, outside views don't work, and presets only work after about a minute of waiting. This happens from time to time and sometimes it goes back to normal. I'm not sure if it fixes itself if I just leave it, or if I press a button. Another thing I noticed is that while that is happening, it goes to the "outside" view but it's still in the cockpit. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or I'm just stupid and I'm missing something. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I just switched over from FSX:SE to P3Dv4.5. After reinstalling ChasePlane I no longer have the Replay feature available. I currently have version 1.0.44. How can I update to get it back, or is it not in P3D? Thanks Rodger

Hello guys, whats your motion setup for small GA airplanes and the big birds? I do 2.00 for the big ones and 3.5 for the small ones, motion, wind and anticipation effects but I would like to know what others do, thanks.

Since CP updated to be compatible with the new Prepar3d hot fix it now starts but does not connect to the sim...I have to close it down and manually start it to get it to connect then all is well.

So here's quite an odd issue. Whilst using chaseplane views, the external sounds, especially the engine and APU sounds of the Q400 are really quiet. However, once I switch to the FSX spot view, the exterior sounds go back to normal. I'm not sure if this an issue on the Q400s side of things as it works perfectly fine until I start up chaseplane. Any help would be immensely appreciated as I am a huge fan of both the Q400 and chaseplane and it really breaks the immersion with the quiet sounds.

I have been using chaseplane for a long time now and love it. Today when I started P3Dv4.5 there was a chaseplane update to v1.0.44. Now using TrackIR everything is going opposite of what it should; example, when I look left my view looks right. I turned TrackIR off and then back on in advanced settings but the problem persists. Any ideas what could fix this or is it a known problem you are working on? Thanks, Jerry

Hi, is it possible to operate the main screen from a second computer. I don´t like the main screen at my cockpit view. I do so with some other programs like MCDU, charts, weather etc. Thank you very much for your answer. Regards Peter Timm

Every now and then (on average once per 2 or 3 flights) Chaseplane springs uncommanded to one particular view (overhead panel) and I cannot move the view (the simulatir is still running) . My only option is to close and restart Chaseplane; then everything is back to normal (until the next time). As I only fly in the Flight Sim Labs A320 I don't know if this wold happen with other aircraft.

I need help, A couple of things, how to update chaseplane? Because whenever I launch chaseplane and I fly on p3d I get a message saying its not supported for my version of p3d and also my presets to switch camera dont work? Any help, Also in p3d When im in the air the plane automatically turns to the right, any help with that, I'm a fsx guys and just got p3d and its a big differance I have tried to watch tutorials, I have done everything in the tutorials but no luck, any help guys.

Hello everyone, Whilst sat in virtual cockpit, holding down the spacebar for directional view to look around with the mouse, once I let go of the directional view with the spacebar the view resets looking straight ahead. It's quite annoying. If I disable global it goes back to normal where I can hold down the space bar and lookaround, let go of the spacebar and the head movement stays in the same position. Obviously this helps when looking at switches etc. The issue is when I disable global, the zoom is no longer smooth, it zooms forwards in large increments. Hope you can help with this bug!

Hi Guys I would like to run Chaseplane on a second pc. I assume I need another licence. Are there discounts for a second licence? Do I just purchase another copy of chaseplane and activate another serial number? Best George

This has already happened several times to me in the past few days. My views keeps getting changed. Somehow it primarily affects the captain's view. All my other presets seem fine. Easy, I just download the preset again from the community library. But then I notice also some exterior views are changed. Is this because they are being updated by the author? Ver. 1.0.43 exp
