Hi, I've just done a fresh install of P3D v4.5 and OrbX Central. As I understand it is not possible to choose the directory of installation of Chase Plane?

Hi Folks, RE: Win10 latest - P3Dv4 latest - CP latest I have the option selected to start and stop CP with P3D - however - it doesn't work... Hasn't worked in a while but it did work at one time... I have to start and stop manually... Anyone else have this issue ? Thanks... Regards, Scott

Hello! I just asked myself if there's a way to get transition effects between inside and outside. At the moment when switiching from VC to external view the change is kinda "hard/abrupt". Is there a way to make it smooth, for example like "fade in from dark". To clarify - I'd just like to have this effect when change from: -) Inside to Outisde -) Outside to Inside Cycling between Views outside and Cycling between views inside: I know there's the option to change the transition in/out time. But I can't find an option to change the transition/time effect for transitions between inside and outside. Thanks in advance and kind regards, Chris

Whenever I double click on Chase Plane on my desktop, the app will not load. The splash screen loads but after that, everything disappears. Please help! MTIA

Hello, i got my new 3 49" widescreen curved monitors (Samsung CGH ... ) and now i have a resolution of 11520x1080...very wide :-) But the Problem is, that the View in Prepar3d v4.5 looks like a fish eye. Maybe the Binokular slider could help, but it seams not to work. Every time i press the slider with the left mouse, the view changes, but when i release the mouse, the view is back to the normal view without any changes. No change between the slider on the left or on the right. Has anyone a idea how to fix that ? ... or even to fix the view fisheye problem ? I tried Viewgroups, but it has too much impact on the fps, from around 30-40 witho…

My system: Windows 10 - up to date Chase Plane: v 1.2.41 NVIDIA Driver: v 27.21.14.5206 Sim: P3D v4.5 HF3 When P3D loads and ChasePlane loads, the view automatically starts creeping on it's own - see short attached video link... https://photos.app.goo.gl/FCr9HGP3mzySrtmQ8 EDIT--- I have fixed this issue. All I did was to re-assign the axis in \Preferences\Control Assignments. The original assignment must have got corrupted - all is now OK.

Hi, I recently changed the static zoom camera level and now I can not revert back to the default. In fact if I reset to default the zoom level for the (not saved) generic camera it goes to back to "1". But whenever I click the Static Camera key it reverts to "2". I double-checked no conflicts with zoom or static key with P3D, FSUIPC... If I save as default the minimum zoom "0.3" when I click the static key it sets the zoom to "1.3". Any idea how I can set the zoom to "1" and stick it? P3D 4.5 Chaseplane v1.0.51 Exp. Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys, I'm new to ChasePlane, just bought it and love it. I'm running P3Dv4.4 on Windows 10 and the latest version of ChasePlane. I have 3 scenery monitors and an instruments monitor below. Scenery is on view labeled "Onboard (ChasePlane) View 00", instruments monitor view is labeled "Onboard (ChasePlane) View 01". I'd I'd like to put my cockpit instruments onto my instruments monitor but I don't know how to make ChasePlane switch to my instruments monitor. Spent several days searching in this forum and in the ChasePlane users guide for an answer. I thought that ChasePlane would simply switch to the active window when I mouse click the instruments window (or select View…

Clean install of v5 with chaseplane as the only addon. I deleted the p3d default zoom keys (equals, and minus), and I set them in chaseplane (equals and minus). I can use the keys to zoom in views that show "chaseplane" in parentheses. I cannot zoom in the default p3d "outside" the aircraft view. Anyone had this issue?

G'day all, I've migrated my Chaseplane license to the Orbx system now and all is working fine. Under the OldProp regime the presets and views you made were saved to the cloud but I thought that this was no longer the case. If so, I can't seem to find the folder where they might be stored so it can be backed up. Does anyone have any ideas? Cheers Warwick

Anyone know how I can configure a static runway camera to track my landing or taking off aircraft? Have tried the recommended method of creating a static camera at the end of the runway and setting track to 'on' in camera advanced settings but it doesnt track! With the static camera position set facing the approaching a/c it turns in the opposite direction when i turn on track. Any ideas?

Is there a way to make the camera keep the aircraft in view? I cannot figure it out. I know I've done it before but can't remember. This is a example , seeing how the camera literally lets the plane go out of view.

It was working fine and chaseplane would automatically launch alongside P3D but all of a sudden it stopped working and I can't figure out why. This is on a newly built computer. Can someone please help me fix it.

I have received an email from OldProp Products saying I need to transfer my ChasePlane licence to Orbx. I login and press the Transfer button and I'm switched to my Orbx accunt. But a message appears saying it failed because I already own the product. It appears in my list of purchased products. Can I safely ignore this?

I have purchased ChasePlane with the intention to use it in P3D V2.5 since EZdok 3 won't support this P3D version. After installation I have it in P3D but also when I start P3D CP also disables Ezdok in FSX SE leaving it with critical errors. I have configured CP to not start CP when FSX SE is launched. Is there a simple way to use CP only in P3D and leave FSX SE to use EZdok ? Can say that my main reason for wanting this is to be able to compare CP and EZdok 3.

Hi, In order to make the flight experience more realistic I have (or will have) flight controls for Boeing aircraft (from Honeycomb - Yoke and Throttle Quadrant) as well as Airbus aircraft (from ThrustMaster - Sidestick and Throttle Quadrant). Now the problem arises that ChasePlane only recognizes one control unit to assign buttons to, so at the moment I use a ThrustMaster joystick to control views (inside / outside) and a hatswitch for pan. If I fly a Boeing aircraft I use the joystick/sidestick to control ChasePlane and a Honeycomb Alpha Flight Yoke to control the aircraft. I am trying to fix this reset zoom problem on my end, but have tried to submit a support ticket regarding the issue and can't get the system to email me at all. I have tried several times to reset my password and it says that an email has been sent successfully, however I have checked numerous times and even checked my spam/junk folder. No signs of any email coming from the website. Please help. This problem has been really bugging me and I would like to get it fixed. Thanks

This started recently happening, whenever I enter Static view mode it shows up at zoom level 0.50, and keeps resetting back to it even whenever I change the zoom level using my middle mouse scroll wheel. It use to stick, but not sure why it keeps resetting back to 0.50. Not sure what the exact cause of this. The only thing I have done recently was update to Windows 2004 and have also updated Chaseplane as well. Could one of those be the things that caused it? Anyhow, I would like for it to not do this. How can I prevent it from resetting the zoom level everytime I manually change it with the mouse wheel? Even when I try to set the zoom level in the camera preset, it won't…

Hi everyone Recently I saw a you-tube video where the simmer had managed to assign 2 hat switches in chase plane by editing a xml / ini file some where. I was wondering if anybody knows how to do this please. I have a set up with 2 hat switches-it will great if could do this. many thanks in advance. Qas

So since installing v5 HF2 I get rain inside the cockpit? Screenshot is in a default aircraft. Using Active Sky.

Hi, I noticed that chaseplane keyboard commands become unresponsive when I CTRL+ALT+DEL to open task manager. Upon returning to P3D window, it no longer works. I can still pan around and open the chaseplane quick menu using my mouse. Just the keyboard commands do not work. Resetting Chaseplane restores keyboard functionality, but goes away again when opening task manager. This becomes cumbersome especially when checking CPU usage all the time.

I recived update 30-05-20. Now on Cinematic mode the sound is very, very quiet, like no sound in this kind of view. Is it issue? How to solve it? Before this update I had all sounds of plane when camera was "dancing" around the plane. From VC or external view is ok. Something is wrong in this new cinamatic view ... ?
