ChasePlane Support

I researched Chaseplane before purchasing, and saw that camera controls could be assigned to keys, buttons, and Axis. Since LINDA has the ability to assign keystrokes to just about any input from a controller (for instance, a hat switch can be assigned a keystroke or keystrokes) I had planned on integrating Chaseplane with LINDA. For instance, setting the Key value for Pan Left in Chaseplane to A and then programming LINDA to output A when using the hat switch. However, that does not work. LINDA will output that keystroke but Chaseplane does not respond to that, although it does if I use the keyboard to input the value. Is there a way of getting LINDA and Chaseplane…

Hi -- I was really hoping Chaseplane would work with the Captain Sim 707 and 727 in FSX SE. The cockpit views are working fine -- however, I cannot get any outside presets to work. When I generate them using the GENERATE PRESETS engine, they all are centered from within the cargo hold, and the arrow keys (assigned in preferences) will not move the view in any direction. Switching to another external view does nothing -- each is exactly the same view and is frozen in place. Attempting to create a NEW external view (not pre-generated) will result in that new view assuming the same as the other non-functioning presets. Any help here is appreciated. Alex

Hi, Pretty certain this has something to do with Chaseplane..... As you can see from the 2 pics(link) in the static view that i have setup the AI traffic engines textures are flickering black and also the surrounding scenery textures are flickering like crazy https://ibb.co/fyAFkk https://ibb.co/iqmXWQ The moment i enable Chaseplane the scenery shimmering stops immediately but the airplane textures(engine) are still black and flickering. All i did was copy the presets from PMDG 737 house to a livery i downloaded and since then i am noticing this problem. Not sure if its merely a coincidence or related. Please help. Hello! I just started up P3D to take a flight, but chaseplane didn't work! It was not connected to the sim, and the top corner was red.... Anybody that can help? Solutions by other people in the forum doesn't help and chaseplane is a must have for me! Can the fact that i'm still on P3D v3.4 be the reason?

I haven't done a flight in P3D in a few weeks, and I go to start chaseplane today and the bridge application gives me an error saying "Something unexpected happened." Hi all, I'm putting my question here after a try opening two ticket to ChasePlane Support. Mr. Edson C. Soriano says that there is a problem on my side (and I'm aware of it) and all the support they can give is to say "there's a problem on your side". As they should know how the product works I expect them to at least say "try this, check that ...". Instead none of this. I am really disappointed with the quality of the support provided. Greetings. I have had a hat switch assigned to pan in chaseplane to my Honeycomb Alpha yoke. I recently purchased a HOTAS controller to use as a steering tiller and would like to use that hat switch as well to pan as I'm taxiing because then my left hand will be on that stick. Is it possible to assign both hat switches to pan using chaseplane? As far as I can tell there is only assignment for one pan switch.

I have just loaded up my sim after a few days and I have noticed when panning around that the mouse is lagging behind and studdering. The start of the week it was fine but I think an update has messed something up. Any help would be appreciated, as my sim is pretty much unusable.

Hi there, I have cinematics turned off, no hot corners, and yet if I leave the mouse static for a while, chaseplane switches me to the outside view, and it is rather irritating. I click my mouse and it returns to the flight deck. Can you help me stop it from doing this? Cheers

Hi all, I use CP with Q400 and created four presets for my favorite views (Pilot/FO/Overhead/Pedestrial). This works fine when selecting the presets from the CP GUI by mouse clicks. But I usually control my presets by using four buttons of an hardware controller, which are all set up by selcting "Assign Buttton". This configuration works fine for all P3D addons. Except for the Dash which does not like the use of buttons because each time I change the view the Autopilot disconnects. I have doublechecked the button assignments within FSUIPC, but there are no conflicts. Changing the views manually by panning and zooming works fine as well. Effects are on "0". …

I’m using the latest chaseplane with FSX:se In the cockpit view work fine but the out views don’t. I get a view of the propeller and can’t change it. Also every time I start FSX:se it asks me to allow chaseplane. I use it with P3D and it all works fine

Can chaseplane use a two button mouse, or does it have to be a three button mouse with middle button?

Hello all I want to export my presets (On-board and outside, ) from Aerosoft Airbus to the FSLabs one since they are quite similar also keppeng the key and button assignements. Greetings, Can someone advise how to disable the change of view presets with only the mouse pointer? I'm experiencing multiple unwanted preset view changes and desire changes only at my command. I hope this is clear. Many thanks.

I don't know if I can even explain this properly. ChasePlane exterior views look better than P3D v5 default views. The landscape looks crisper, runway lines better, clouds nicer and just overall better. I would love to get the same views within P3D as I do through ChasePlane. Pictures are worth a thousand words. The first shot is P3D the second is ChasePlane. Does anyone know why this is? Do I have to change some settings?

I cannot assign Saitek yoke buttons in chasepane. It seems chaseplane does not recognize my yoke. I have assigned in fsuipc my aileron, elevator axis and hat switch axis is assigned to send to fs as normal axis pan view. Can someone help me please Paul
