ChasePlane Support

Chaseplane starts ok (this is in P3Dv4.5 and V5), but after switching a few views Chaseplane stops working and Windows Task Manager shows the program suspended. I am also loosing presets through this process. Anyone else seeing this? Is there a solution? I have the latest install (fresh) from ORBX. Chaseplane is now unusable for me, until I can find a solution.

Does anyone know the best way to contact OldProp support ? - I have a ticket open with them - no response - ORBX directs me to their user/user OldProp forum - no answers there - then if you open a ticket it directs you to OldProp - seems like their support does not exist anymore... trying to transfer license from OldProp to ORBX and end up with (0 OldProp products were added to your account) - tried multiple browsers on different computers etc - no issue logging into both sites (Just trying to get ChasePlane updated and can't do this without getting the license transferred to ORBX)

Recently my middle click in my mouse broke, is there any way i can change how to open the in game menu and pan around?

Hello everyone, another weird chaseplane issue: recently my install gets deleted by auto-update each time I try to launch it. I am always able to reinstall the application via ORBX central, but afterwards I am being told "you do not have sufficient right to access this file", so i cant run it. If I try to restart my system, I briefly see the "42 updater" message upon CP launch, and afterwards the exe is gone again and the desktop shortcut is dead. By the nature of this, I suspect this being some weird anti-piracy function, but my version is 100% legit. (official ticket also filed) Also, I disabled auto-updates in ORBX central so I dont know why CP keeps doing this. …

I have to say, since the Community presets were removed from ChasePlane it's become one of the most annoying addons to use in Prepar3D. No matter which addon plane you were in, it was highly likely someone had shared a decent set of custom views that were perfect for quick fly arounds. Having to spend time digging around the Internet or creating all your own camera angles is annoying and I think it's a real loss. Where are people getting views from now if they don't have access to their old ones?

Hi Guys, Recently I've done a complete restore of Windows 10 and installing chaseplane through Orbx Central I've noticed I've lost all my presets. I just assumed from last time I did a reinstall, my presets were saved in the cloud and then re-loaded when I reinstalled the product. Has this process changed? If so, is there anyway of retrieving my presets? Best regards, Mark

Hi, I updated Prepar3D 4.5 to Hotfix 3 and get the following message: "Your P3D version (v4.5.14.34698) is not supported with this version of ChasePlane." I alreadey migrated Chaseplane to the Orbx Store and validated the files. Chaseplane seems to jump in on start of Prepar3D, but my views and keyboard assignments are totally screwed up. As I found nothing in the forums about this: does anybody know whether this is a known issue and perhaps Chaseplane will get updated in the near future? Thanks a lot, Christian

Im trying to transfer my license to ORBX and get "0 OldProp products were added to your account" I logged into my OldProp account - click on the green "transfer to ORBX button", login to ORBX and it reports no products added. I started with IE11 then FFox and Chrome - no change. Any ideas ? thanks

I just updated to prepared 3d version 4.5.14 does anyone know when the static camera will be foxed for the new version. I'm also having this problem where the camera snaps back and forth from view to view. It use to smoothly transition from those views. Thanks again Ryan

I get: "Corrupt Configuration We have detected and fixed a corrupt configuration in P3Dv4. Please restart your simulator for ChasePlane to work properly. Type 'restart' in the field below if you understood." But, it keeps starting like that after the restart??? Bruce

I have searched the web and forums and cant find an answer. Its probably something simple i overlooked. The camera controls dont work in chaseplane, hat switch, or keyboard. but Zoom works in all 3 also it shows 'DEV' in the red/green status display. thanks for your help Win10 P3d v3 X56 hotas

Yesterday ChasePlane was working fine. This morning it starts, stays on for about 10 seconds, then quits. In Task Manager both CP and CP Bridge appear, then disappear. Any clues? Thanks, Giorgio Goggi

Hi Guys, I literally cannot get it to work. I cant look around the flightdeck at all. I can change views that are static cameras etc but I cannot pan around at all. What am I missing :( I used to be able to do it but I can't remeber how to set it. :( I'm using this Thrustmaster Hotas X. Thanks

Hello everyone, I recently bought Chaseplane in ORBX central and cant get it to work. The initial configuation always closes after 10 seconds saying that an unexpected error occurred. Worse: it messes up my cameras.cfg until then, and I always have to replace it with a default one after each try. I have migrated Chase Plane as directed. ORBX Central has it and it is up to date. So why am I getting instructions to migrate when P#D is loading? I followed the instructions 2-3 times just to be sure. Chase Plane works properly so how to stop that pop-up? Neal H

Hey, I have installed ChasePlane v1.1.78 and it does not connect with P3D v5. It opens when I open P3D, however still shows the red at the top indicating it is not connected. My firewall is turned off. Thanks!

Noticed ever since the latest update. Example. I'll press my button that I have mapped to the overhead panel and the view will be slightly off center with a tilt to it as opposed to straight. Not every time however. Anybody else?

Helllo: Recently, all my ChasePlane presets became distorted. They are all way zoomed out requiring me to reset all preset views. Is there another/easier way to correct this problem? I have a lot of aircraft and each has many presets. II look forward to hearing from you and thanks. Dennis .

HI, Just started using chaseplane and am loving it. Only issue I have right now is how to disable zoom using the mouse wheel. Everytime I turn a knob, the view keeps zooming in or out which is very annoying. Any ideas? My version is v0.3.20 beta and I'm using p3d v4. Thanks.

I think I may have found a bug with the latest v1.1.81 I typically depress the middle scroll button to move my viewpoint around in ChasePlane. Pretty standard. However i notice since the latest update in P3Dv5 that if I hold down the scroll button for at least two seconds the View Selector pops up. It is very consistent like my middle button is mapped, but I assure you it is not. The key mapping is left blank under control assignments and I have no external mapping or P3D mapping of that button. I also have Advance Mouse Controls unchecked in the P3D menu. Any ideas?

I recently did a clean install of p3d v4 and i migrated chaseplane to orbx. I've lost all my presets as the cloud is apparently not used anymore. Is there a way to get my previous presets from chaseplane's cloud storage?

I migrate to Orbx and install chaseplane for P3D V5. Download last update In app (Chaseplane) and retart the program. At restart it scraps several .exe files on my PC (files still there but I'm unable to run program like Word for instance). Any clue???
