ChasePlane Support

Hi, Guys, I got CP last week and having one hell of a time trying to get key commands to bind with FSX and CP. I use a X52 Pro stick and have major problems with trying to allocated stick commands to the POV HAT No 2. Is anyone else having this issue? I can get the main hat switch to act as my pan hat. My main question is are we still able to use the Saitek software or has this got to be disabled? Also I can save Camera position in both Cockpit and External views only to find after a while I get the green button showing to save, but I haven't changed anything

Hi Guys, One view I would love to do and not sure if CP can do it, and that is as we all know when in external when you pan around the Aircraft the Camera pans with the Aircraft being stationary, Now I fly a lot of helicopters and would be nice lets say when I come into land and see the Heli pad that I can rotate the Helicopter to adjust my position instead of the camera moving. Is this possible?

Can I track the aircraft on replay mode? I'm trying, but no success... Or can I change the position of the tower view with ChasePlane? Thanks!

Hello, use Chaseplane 2,5 Years in FSX and P3DV4. In all this Time have a Middle Mouse Button Menu Problem: (This is not a Mouse Problem, in this Time had minimum 7 Mouse used, Cable or Radio. ) 1 - Klick Middle Mouse Button - Nothing 2 - Klick Middle Mouse Button - Menu comes or not. 3 - Klick Middle Mouse Button - Menu comes. I have set the Cpu Priority higher for Chaseplane.exe and Bridge but nothing changes. Is there a solution? Best regards

Must say, despite my misgivings, it is working allright with ORBX and I'm pleased to see regular updates coming through. My problem is that I want to exclude FSX from ChasePlane completely. I have both FSX and P3D installed and use FSX for VR flying with FlyInside (very smooth frame rates and user-friendly controls, which I don't get with P3D). I have excluded FSX from the Auto-Launch option in ChasePlane, but it still continues to modify ...\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Cameras.CFG every time it starts up for P3D. For a few days now, I have noticed a bug in the exterior views. Some parts of airport and airplane buildings disappear. Only when I fly very close, some, some parts reappear and then disappear again. The funny thing is that it only happens when I select outdoor cameras. If I look from cameras inside the plane, everything is displayed correctly. I have updated Chaseplane to the latest version (1.1.189 S) and Prepar3D v5 HF1. I have tried different configurations, but I cannot fix the error. I'm thinking of uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, but I wanted to know if there is any way to fix it without reinstalling. Thank you

Hi. I'm trying to set up ChasePlane on a out-of-the-box Mooney Bravo. I have the A switch working, which is for sitting in the cockpit (see picture), but I'm having trouble setting up the outside viewing (S-key). I would want put the camera press an S key to see it from the side of the aircraft, for example, and move it, not just always looking at the aircraft - or something else. Note that I have already moved the A-key and got it working, and the S key, by default takes me to the back of the aircraft and lets me change my view (left/right, outside), but the movement is that the camera stays where it is, I can't move it. Pease help!

Hi... I see any videos on youtube of P3D with chaseplane Replay. They can recording the simulator with the replay system. I try to this system with A330 in my simulator. I might be operating the system correctly: 1. I paused my flight A330 shortly after take off, when the altitude 5.000 feet. And i try to ran the replay system, when I rollback to view my take off in any angle of camera, my alarm flight is sounded 2. I use P3DV5 HF1 and Chaseplane V1.1.8.7 S. I have problems with Logitech Throttle Quadrant interfering with Chaseplane. I have my controll assigments connected to the Xbox. Static camera is connected to the XB-B button in the Xbox. Sometimes the staic camera works but usually the image quickly switches back to the cockpit. If I manage to get the chaseplane to stay in static camera mode, the chaseplane immediately switches back to the cockpits when I touch any Throttle Quadrant slider. I have the Throttle Quadrant assigned in FSUISP. In P3D options controlls there is no inlet for the Throttle Quadrant. If I unplug the USB to the Throttle, all problems disappear. Anyon…

I am trying to get Chaseplane to work wiith P3D V5. The ORBX site says that Chaseplane is compatible with V5 but I can't get it to work. There are some entries in the forum that suggest some have it working in V5. Any suggestion as to get this working would be appreciated. Martin.

Hi, I've done a fresh install of my Sim today, and after installing Chaseplane through Orbx, I can't get my Presets back. Is there a way that I could get them off the OldProp Cloud please? I was really happy with them as they were and I'd gutted I couldn't get them back. Can someone help me please? Chris

So what is the correct way to uninstall Chaseplane? It's Very interesting this isn't in the manual.

I use Chase Plane but for the life of me I can't find a way to not zoom when I use my mouse wheel in the sim. I have every thing relating to the mouse unticked in the CP preference controls setting. I have also checked my Logitech app. Any suggestions anyone? Oh yea' the shift bar is not engaged either.

Hi, i installed V4 and v5 MaddogX and have issues in v5. I noticed Chaseplane notifying me that MaddogX(Prepar3dv4) was a new aircraft and i should restart sim. This was with v5 . Only VC views works . Thanks Michael Moe

On p3d v5, when I press the alt key like I am trying to access the p3d menus, the view starts moving to either left, right or all the way back to tail view. If I try to press the button on the yoke to return to captain view, it starts moving left or right etc.. again I have letters assign for left, right, up, down and my hat switch appropriately. I don't know, I added chaseplane as trusted app to webroot (they claim you don't need to do that, but I did just in case), but still happens. This time, I hit v to move right and it kept repeating until it stopped just outside the aircraft.

I'm regretting buying chaseplane, every-time i do a flight i get a CTD it doesn't matter what aircraft i am flying there is always a CTD at some point in the flight and it's extremely annoying. I have enable advance features ticked and experimental versions unticked. Here is a log from my last CTD. I am running everything as administrator in P3D V4. I have uninstalled and reinstalled chaseplane several times both with advance features and experimental versions unticked and i STILL get a CTD.
