Hello, I could not figure out what is the use of "Regenerate Airport Data" in CP configuration and when should it be executed. Appreciate your advice, Moshe

Hi, every few seconds (minutes) I see the red text on the right top corner from pilot position (even if I didn't touch any button of view like zoom ect). For example from VC view, like this: Im sure I can remove all text in menu of P3D but I will not see in this situation "zoom position" what is good for creating a Preset. Any idea for this annoying feature (to see it only once)?

Hi, I´ve tried to experiment with the portals feature inside Chaseplane but I have not really understand how it works. I´ve seen tutorials and I´ve search the forums but no results are found. What does it do? or How does it works? Thanks! Best Regards

Hello Experts Accidently I had to re-install the P3D V4.3. The remaining problem is , that Chaseplane does not more automaticly when start the P3D sim. If manually started Chaseplane works fine. Can somebody give an advise how to solve this problem ? Thanks and regards Roger

I can not assign any keyboard keys or buttons on the yoke for viewing views. It's happened since I switched to p3d4.3. , I deleted the other assignments from all the buttons that are concerned. Someone would have a solution

Can the devs of chase plane please add an option to move the camera via mouse click. Also the camera moves then stops when the mouse is clicked again, similar to fsx's PAN VIEW. The function is ebbed in the application but when i let off with the mouse it immediately swerves right back to my default view. I have to shut down the app then use the fsx views.

Hi, I am trying to install CP through FSFXPackages and ran right away into the following problem: If I click on direct install: "ChasePlane require the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Packages or more recent to be installed. Please refer to your product's manual." Is there an actual installation manual, that can tell me where I can get MS C++210 Redistributable Package? If I click on i: "The manual will be launched in your default browser." However, this short manual does not deal with installation issues. Thanks for assistance

Maybe I missed something, maybe it isn't even intended. I am at a loss how to create a flyby camera. Could anyone help me?

I think ChasePlane may be causing me some issues. Several times I've experienced CP loaded but none of my views work. I would have to close CP and restart it to get the views working again. Also three times while flying the PMDG 737, while in flight I would use mouse look and view down to the FMC from the pilots view and the sim would freeze and than CTD with no error message. Same actions after an hour of flight, same type aircraft, different locations, CTD when looking down. And the last thing I noticed is I would move to my lower console view and than the view would flicker to the overhead panel view briefly. So I think a repair or reinstall is needed. What would…

I am having an odd situation with one of my my preset joystick buttons. I have the button assigned to a take-off view (cockpit) However, each time I press the button, I get an outside view and, sometimes, it cycles through different views I used to have?. I have looked all through the settings and no other views are assigned to this button? How can I clear this button so I can use it again? Thank you

Just out of curiosity why is there a difference between sim default and CP zoom level number? If the sim (P3D v4) zoom level is 0.5 it co-relates to zoom level 1 in ChasePlane control panel.

I've just got to let you know how much I love this product! It's one of the best I have bought for P3D and it's brilliant. Not being at v1, and loving it is really something else. Well done anyone involved... Gaz

When Prepar3D v4.3 starts it's initialization (after loading the selected flightplan, desired aircraft & graphics, etc.), Chaseplane just "disconnects" before the program finishes loading?! The bar that reveals the percentage complete, never reaches 100%. Chaseplane shows it's icon on the Taskbar, alongside of P3D's icon, during the entire load. But, before it can finish the final part of the initialization, where it actually reaches 100%; then lets me use the P3D flight simulator with Chaseplane, it "disconnects"! Both P3D and Chaseplane icons and programs disappear. I am left staring at my desktop.

Hi guys Hope all is well. Over the last few days, for some reason my mouse stays on screen when I'm panning around - it gets extinguished for about 2 seconds then makes an appearance back. Dear All, i am getting trouble with cp and the FsLabs 319 IAE only, yesterday i ve planed to use for the first time the 319 IAE i ve got the setting view from the community however my mouse is no more have any control to pop up 2D panels or turning the knobs, when using the mouse to turn the knobs or using the scroll buton it s make moving the captain seat, meanwhile when i bring up the cp view panel the mouse works for a while and then back to no control, even cliking on the mouse right button i don t have the view selection eg vc, outside view, and this weired beahaviiour is only with the 319IAE for wich i ve imported the community setting, other series 320 is perf…

Sorry- but I am not very good on the computer.... and have managed to not be able to install my purchase of Chase Plane the Precip. My purchase went thru and I received a purchase serial number. I tried to "install the installer" into my D Drive, where my Prepar3DV4 is located. The installer successfully was added to the D drive but does not open. When I look at the instructions for how to download... the icon looks to be bright in color... like it did not install. I went to the Programs file to see if I could open the installer. I opened it. Hello, I play on Flight Simulator X (because my PC is very bad ...). Anyway, I use ChasePlane for the more views into the cockpit BUT when I'm flying my views move alone ... I now have to add that I am seeing the stuttering. I had a fluid sim, just freshly installed v4.3, I flew the default f22 before each addon I installed and 60 FPS locked on everything. Then in installed chaseplane....major stutters once the aircraft starts moving, then when I pan or anything. If I stop its fine again? Hi - a couple of questions and some feedback on a great product here. I'm having a problem understanding how to set up the external camera system. I'm essentially basing this on the viewing system that's builtin to p3d. By default (without Chaseplane) , when I'm flying, and I go into spot view, the camera will stay level with the ground; if the plane banks, it does so on the screen, and the background stays level. When I use the external view on Chaseplane, however, it's like the camera is attached to the wing - the plane stays still on my screen and the background moves. Didn't use P3D v4.3 for a week, turn it on yesterday and cant change to the outside view in Chase plane. Thought it was the aircraft addon at first but chase plane wouldn't respond on default aircraft either. I've re installed the sim and chase plane several times and its still happening. Its even started to crash my sim. Really really annoying as I haven't changed anything in my sim for this to start happening.

There are a few of us having terrible problems with the new Aerosoft A318/A319: specifically with the autopilot. Basically, after a while, the aircraft just goes beserk and totally (un-recoverably) "loses the plot". In the A/S forums, there's lots of finger pointing and theories. One of the commonly quoted culprits is EzDok. I'm wondering whether Chaseplane may be having an adverse effect. The problem is, I have my Chaseplane set up in such a way with FSUIPC (which A/S also hates) and P3D controls that it's not that easy to simply turn off Chaseplane to test. My feeling is that it's nothing to do with Chaseplane: that it's more likely to be badly optimised …

Hello, i noticed on two Airports so far (FlyTampa Amsterdam Schiphol EHAM and JetStream Designs Palermo LICJ) some weird graphical glitches when i overfly certain areas on these Airports. I posted topics in the specific airport forums to get help for this issue. Now i figured out, that this happend only in ChasePlane Views. If i switch to the P3D Views, the flickering is gone.
