ChasePlane Support

Hi Guys, I've got something strange going on, I would appreciate some assistance. I have checked, and my key is not double assigned, only CP is using the key binding. I have space assigned for "Mouse Look (Hold)" the idea being that I want similar functionality as default, by holding space and being able to move the viewpoint around. This works absolutely perfectly inside the Cockpit VC. However, the moment I move outside to the Spot View, I am unable to move the viewpoint at all. P3D 4.3, any assistance appreciated.

Hi everyone, A few days go, my P3D crashed. When I reloaded the sim, all my camera views were zoomed out. For instance, my default cam when flying the PMDG 777-300ER before this issue showed the 2 left seat PFDs along with most of the centre PFD. Now, this camera shows almost all 6 PFDs and the view is off. The same goes for all other cameras - everything is zoomed out like I am looking at a binocular the wrong way. I tried recreating my cameras.cfg. I tried uninstalling / reinstalling CP. No success. When I browse the community for new cameras in CP, all those cameras are also zoomed out as well. Even the old cameras I was subscribed to are also zoomed out…

Hello, I've got a problem with ChasePlane. ChasePlane simply doesn't recognize the simulator, even tho it is running. I tried reinstalling ChasePlane, VFXCentral and I deleted the Old Prop folder in %appdata%, I tried to reinstall simconnect I also tried reinstalling FSUIPC. I tried using the stable and experimental version. Nothing helped. Last thing I wanna do is reinstalling Prepar3D. But first I want to find a other solution. I'm using Prepar3Dv4.3.

Hi, The program has really been working well for me but there's one issue that has me baffled. I'm running FSX:SE with FSUIPC and of course Chaseplane. The PageUp and the PageDown key work as expected when used from the keyboard. However, when run from a lua script the PageUp command - ipc.keypressplus(33,8) - will trigger a view assigned to the NumberPad9 key on the first time the command is send and then will work correctly on any following ipc.keypressplus(33,8) commands. If no view is programmed on the NumberPad9 key then the PageUp function doesn't work at all. The PageUp, PageDown and NumberPad9 keys are only assigned in ChasePlane and not …

Hi, I noticed that transitions between views (On-Board) only works if they have the SAME gimbal setting. I did noticed that quite recently. Is-it as intended or an "unexpected" side effect of a version update ? Thanks - Gérard

How can I remove Chaseplane from laptop? It does not show up in me installed apps.

Hi, I have had chaseplane for a while now and never had an error. Today I load it up it didn't start with my sim like it has always done. Then it didn't recognize my sim was on. Did reinstall of vfx central and chaseplane. On stable version. Please Help

Can't figure out why chaseplane looses settings when restart sim. I am set up for the same joystick commands across multiple presets for various aircraft with no conflicts. Works fine until I exit and return and the command on the throttle doesn't respond anymore and needs to be re-mapped.

In the static view for KCLT Charlotte Douglas...using FSDreamteam scenery. I have (2) 36R...no 36C. I can see about 6 1/2 runway numbers but how do I make the open window bigger or see the other runways without typing in something. I did try 36C in the search window but nothing. I got a very weird problem after a recent small upgrade 2 -3 days ago, and I noticed the version number remain the same 0.4.217 with my P3D v4.3. Before the upgrade my chaseplane 0.4.217 beta works perfectly beyond my expectation. The problems are: 1. When using the assigned Zoom in/out key "-" and "+", there are no smooth transition any more for ALL airplanes with different inside camera, just like not using chaseplane presets. The zoom in/out like crawling .... slow not smooth. But if I assign "alt"+"-" or "alt"+ "=", it works perfect with smooth transition again. Hello Chaseplane, I have contacted you on your website via direct ticket and a private message about this issue. I currently have Chaseplane installed on my computer at home however I am in college and use my main computer for Flight Simulator there as well. I have uninstalled my Chaseplane on my home computer however I am still having licensing and registration issues with this program. I realize you said 24-48 hours for a response but I would really like to get back to using your software. Thank you, Trent Smith

Chase Plane now freezes since I said no to windows defender. Looks of things, I should have said yes. Have re-installed, changed from beta to experimental. to no affect. Chase plane starts out OK, but after a few minutes, starts messing around. Any help please?

Hi, I bought Chaseplane recently, really like the program, but have a problem switching views from cockpit to outside view. I am using P3d v4.3. I can switch the view to outside using the P3d menu - views, and have created presets for cockpit and outside views. I followed some of the suggestions in this forum, deleting the cameras.cfg file, and allowing Chaseplane to rebuild it. I also deleted the Prepar3d.cfg file, ran the default F-22 flight at Eglin, and all worked perfectly. I could switch aircraft, go to other US airports and switch to outside views and back with no problems. As I normally fly from the UK, I tried starting a flight at a UK airport, and the o…

Having a problem and hoping someone can help me out. When loading ChasePlane, the control panel come's up but the little box in the upper left hand corner is red and can't get it to turn green. Any idea's what's the problem. I can only get to presets and preferences. I can not get to camera.

Hello , i have a new issue since yesterday. Chaseplane changes the lightning of the sim. For instance if i put a value of 0,70 in the options menu when i pick a camera view from chaseplane it reverts to a value much higher than 0,70. I have not encountered this issue before. Also WHEN I REMOVE CHASEPLANE, i keep the same lightning in different views. Please help because i cannot fly like this, lightning is real essential for me.

Hello, Everything working perfectly until my last flight, decide to install/purchase CP since then i can launch P3D and select aircraft/airport but hitting the OK button to launch the flight my P3d will just crash. From p3d log file : error=Error loading FSUIPC5.dll: The specified module could not be found. which is insane as it is there!

With some presets on AEROSOFT A318/319 ( new P3Dv4) I got heavy flickering. With zoom on FMGC, Pedestal or ECAM view Presets. I have to set the zoom far out to reduce the flickering. Ih I close chaseplan with that view the flickering stops. This problem is not with the new Airbus from FSLab. Chaseplan vers 0.4.215 Lothar

Pardon the question as I am new to Chase Plane. (migrated from ezdok2) Maybe, I just don't understand the instructions correctly? Being in my 70's has it's toll???? If I assign a button to move left or right or pan (or any movement), it doesn't do anything when I am in a preset cam? The only way I can get the view to change (for example) look out the left window) is to hold the spacebar and move the mouse! Am I doing this correctly? I would also like to have this flexibility to move around when in spot plane mode> I'm sure it is just me that's doing it wrong! In the latest version, in Custom static view (ChasePlane) do not work move up, move down and in Custom outside (ChasePlane) view, move up a moment that does not rise anymore and the view is reset as in the beginning. Greetings. P3D V4.3 any plane.

Hi there, Firstly I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to develop this addon, and it really does look like it has huge potential. I'm in the process of making the (painful) transition from FSX to P3Dv4, and Chaseplane seems to be the only available view system for the latter at present. I have been making videos for youtube with FSX for many years, and FS9 before that, and have been spoilt with the wonderful tool that is FS Recorder. Amazingly, FS Recorder provided cameras, replay and capture functions all in one tool, and it was free (although he would have made a fortune if he'd charged for it). I have Prepar3d V4.3, Chaseplane and Saitek Pro Yoke and FSUIPC. I have not been simming in over 2 years and forgot how to setup my Hat Switch on the yoke so the view looks in the direction the hat switch is moved to. Thanks in advance for your help. Brad Rich

Hi I'm sorry if this sounds a little odd, but I'm having trouble setting Chaseplane up. It simply doesn't work on my setup. Firstly, I've setup some views in my cockpit, and they work the way I want them to, but as a beginner, I haven't set keyboard or joystick assignments up yet, which means I have to go into Chaseplane and select the view I want to see. When I originally set this up, it worked fine, but then it seemed to crash - and stopped working. I therefore had to kill the program (since it wouldn't respond). I have reloaded P3D and Chaseplane, but now I'm in a state where I can't look around at all - Chaseplane looks like it's trying to start in the back…

Hi Every time there is an update ( at least I suspect that) of Chaseplane it alo change in P3Dv4.3 key - and axis assignments for Xbox 360 controll. I must go in and correct in several assignments. Is there any way way to avoid this /Thomas ESNN
