ChasePlane Support

Hello. The title say it. Is this possible and how do I move chaseplane to FSX steam. Both in same computer but difference drive. Thanks ricky1088

I have a higher end computer and my settings are reasonable so I don't think that is the problem. It started with the A2A Comanche. At the very beginning when my Chase Plane camera comes on showing the pilot view, the other cameras don't work. Sometimes the menu bar on top is shown sometimes not either way, I click on it nothing happens. I can hear the engine respond to my command but nothing moves. There was no problem with the A2A Cherokee, did many flights, now it has the same problem. The only way I can get out of this is by Control/ Ault/ Delete. I posted on the A2A Forum because I'm not sure if this is a problem with A2A Aircraft or if it's a Chase Plane problem.

Keven, since this last update the Flight1 B200 is having these problems. When ChasePlane is running, after I disengage autopilot the horizontal stabs go up and down like crazy making the plane unflyable. When I shut down CP it's stable and perfect, while still flying I run CP and it does it again, 100% reproducible. The stabs flutter so fast up and down it's like a birds wings. I wish I could make a video but I don't know how. Haven't tested with other planes yet. P3D 4.1 and latest experimental version of CP.

Just started with Chaseplane. Does track aircraft, track any air craft. If so how is it set up? Thanks wlkin

I have the Chaseplane add-on, After ı updated the Chaseplane ı get this error ( Downloaded file is not signed from Oldprop Solutions Inc. ) I reinstall the Chaseplane but didnt help. Screen shot is HERE

Hello guys, I've just seen that upon starting CP it extracts a file called "test.exe" on the splash screen. I don't want to point any fingers but think it's rather a bad decission regarding filenaming given the things that happend some months ago. BR

If you go into slew mode, chaseplane no longer functions after you exit slew mode. I use an xbox controller to control chase plane. After using slew mode, the xbox controller, hotkeys, and my hat switch do not work. I restarted chaseplane and got a message about advanced features not working. Restarted chaseplane two more times and it seems to be functioning correctly, unless slew mode is used again. I never had this issue before the 4.1.18 update.

I assigned F to switch between views. However, when I press F twice, the first view zooms out a bit and then zooms back in and does not switch to say throttle view. I tried deleting the key assignment, but it just doesn't make a difference. I think I know...I assigned my movement keys to like asdfwx, I will have to check them.

I'm coming from the combo P3D v3 and OpusFSI, now I'm with P3D v4 and ChasePlane, and I would like to know how can I revert easily to a certain camera preset WITH the preset zoom level. Sometimes when I change the zoom level and then activate the preset cameras, the preset zoom within the camera will not activate, instead the previous zoom level will remain. And if I hit the backspace key, which should reset the zoom level, it will make it all zoomed out, like 0.3 or something close to that. After having gone back to EZDOK, I decided to give another chance to Chaseplane and reinstall the program today. Unfortunately, once installation is done, the program crash on startup... I have sent the log files to the support email since this morning but no feedback yet.....

Hi, I've been trying out ChasePlane for the replay capabilities but have been experiencing severe stuttering/juddering in Replay to the extent that Replay is unusable. There is a slight reduction in fps/smoothness over default in real-time flying as well, but it is not a showstopper like the Replay. It seems that the software can show smooth replays because I see tons of YouTube videos with smooth playback, but on my system, the replay is not functioning properly. How can I move the camera while in the cockpit? I know I can set it so whenever I use the mouse it moves the view, but is there a way to set up a X Plane type view where you hold the left click to move the camera? I've looked through the settings and can't find anything. Can someone walk me through how to do it, if it's even possible.

Chase plane has an issues with this A/C. Specifically with the load out tool for the F15E. Chase Plane locks up FSX Steam, P3Dv34, and P3d v4.2. I am flying the tfdi 717 with TrackIR/ChasePlane and the Captain view sets the zoom to 55. I prefer 50 and sometimes 44. I set it to either of these using the space bar and mouse center button. However, within a few seconds the camera returns to 55. Is there a way to control that so it won't change my camera zoom? Thanks in advance. Ken

Running P3Dv4.2. Any time when P3D crashes to desktop or freezes, I then have to remove and reinstall ChasePlane before it'll work again. Obviously, this isn't a daily experience, but frustrating none the less when it happens. CP does appear to attempt to launch after a P3D crash, but then hangs for a moment and closes. I have CP installed on separate drive to P3D, along with all my other addon apps.

I've been using ChasePlane reasonably happily (bar the regular crashes) for a few weeks now and it's been functioning in FSX boxed, FSX Steam, P3D V3 and P3D V4. However, today it just stopped working in FSX boxed, still works fine in the other three. It starts with FSX but then just shows a red box (with +TrackIR in it) at the top left and only Presets (with nothing in it) and Preferences available to click on. When I exit FSX, ChasePlane stays open wit the red box and doesn't auto-close. The "Start with FSX" option is enabled in preferences. Now I'm comfortable with the product in terms of creating/assigning cam positions I'm naturally becoming more creative when using CP for video recording (I use OBS BTW) both in live and replay modes. 2 things have me scratching my head and I'm assuming I'm missing obvious solutions, so any advice would be appreciated: 1 - Using an Xbox controller, I sometimes find that using the sticks to move around leads to horrific video stutter, which renders that attempt at creating a recording useless. 2 - When moving around to find an interesting cam position, mostly at runways I find using either the camera movement virtual joysticks in the control panel, or the Xb…

HI all I just got the Comanche, and I tried to setup some cameras through the community. Back in ezdok times, when sharing camera files, the DHM was synched along. However, with chaseplane, this doesn';t seem to be the case.. si that correct? vkr victor

I just bought Chase Plane yesterday and it is for PMDG 737 600 and P3D. I made sure that it is set to start when P3D is opened. I have yet to be able to open Chase Plane. Do I need to uninstall EZDOC? I have look in the Addons drop down and have not seen any listing.

While watching tutorial videos it seemed that there is a way to toggle TrackIR on and off without pulling up the ChasePlane page and sliding the button to do so. However, I have not been able to find an assignment task for that button. It appears that this would solve some of the problems I have mentioned in other threads. Hi all. A few days ago I did a complete reinstall of my flight simulator, moving it to a new drive. I use a few addons, including chaseplane which is having many issues since the reinstall. During the reinstall I also updated P3D from v4.1 to v4.2. The issues i'm having are: 1) Key shortcuts for presets only work sometimes. I need to press the key multiple times for anything to actually happen. 2) Moving using arround in the sim (arrow keys + pgup and pgdn) doesn't work at all 3) Using middle mouse button to look around the cockpit works, but similar to the key shortcuts I need to press the button multiple times for it to actual…
