Why does Chaseplane KEEP changing my settings??? I flew the Carenado Phenom for the first time yesterday. I had issues with TWO preset cockpit views linking together. There was an 'Autopilot' preset I imported from another of my planes which I renamed to 'Switches'. Then this 'Switches' preset decided (?) to rename itself to 'Pilot' so I had 2 'Pilot' presets, and neither worked properly ! So I deleted both 'Pilot' presets, remade one as 'Pilot' again and re-assigned it to a button (on orbweaver). Then I remade another preset for the switches but called it 'Electrics' this time. Hi, I'm an avid user of Chase Plane in P3D V4.1. All my aircraft have Chase Plane Presets. However, just got Just Flights Warrior II, set up some camera presets and all worked fine. Shut down P3D, Chase Plane disconnects as normal. Reloaded P3D and all my Warrior II presets have gone!! Tried a few experiments. Set up some presets for the Warrior - worked fine again. Selected a different aircraft - worked fine. Selected the Warrior - presets were there ok. Shut down P3D and restarted it again - Warrior presets gone?? Thinking it was possibly a Firewall problem and my presets weren't writing out I added a new preset to an existing working aircraft. Shut down …

Hi all, What is the current version that everyone is running? My CP version is currently v0.3.70 Beta, however, I read a post further down and someone has they are currently on 0.3.79 (not sure if a typo). I still get a message every time CP starts informing me that it isn't compatible with P3Dv4.2 and it is being worked on, but it has been 2 weeks now and I was wondering when this will be made compatible as I can't use zoom keys or my hatswitch properly in locked spot, which is extremely annoying. Or has there been an update released and for some reason I have an updating issue? Thanks in advance, Mick.

How do I setup a center key for TrackIR in ChasePlane? I have setup my other keys but not TIR so my head moves a little and then the whole flight is screwed up... Thanks, Easton

Hi, I get a weird situation where if I start Chaseplane with P3D v4.2 (as in autostart with sim) or while a flight is loading I get the "Error activating advanced features" message, but if I start ChasePlane after the sim has loaded a flight I don't get the error and Chasplane works fine.

Hi I recently bought Flightsimlabs A320-X (and also downloaded Spotlights) and already have Chaseplane which is an excellent product. However when in virtual cockpit mode in the A320-X, certain mouse clicks just do not work e.g. selecting Captain's PFD and ND brightness - I have to go to 2D panel mode to change these then go back to the virtual cockpit. Another example - the Rose selector (ILS/VOR/ARC/NAV/PLAN) nor the Speed selector work in virtual cockpit mode. Very frustrating having to switch between virtual cockpit and 2D panels to change things. Please can someone suggest what might be wrong and/or what I can try? e.g. non-beta version of Chase…

Maybe someone can help me out here,i want to asaign the up arrow key to move forward and the down arrow key to backwards and the other arrow keys left and right in chase plane,but when i do it only go's up and down.Any idea's please? thanks Peter

This just started happening with the latest build that was flashed (today?). My center mousewheel is set so when it's held down, I can pan the camera around. The issue is, when I press and hold the mousewheel, the sim pauses for at least a second. Changing camera views doesn't cause this to happen, only holding the mousewheel down. If I try to move the mouse while I'm holding the wheel down, the sim resolves itself after about 1-1.2 seconds. Strange.

Hi everyone, i have chaseplane from 4 days. I have Prepar3d v3.4 and I have set my presets on my Aerosoft CRJ 700. All is okay but after 10 minutes (sometimes after more time) of flight my chaseplane disconnect from p3d with a message, i restart it but it doesn't load my presets, so i had to restart P3d to make it work, but after the same time it disconnect again. I tried to reinstall it, i tried to regenerate the appdata folder, but nothing worked. Sometimes there is another error: at the spawn in the aircraft my view is zoommed at 0.16%, so i have the bad fisheye effect, and when i try to move the camera it doesn't move. Please help me. Started Chaseplane today and it downloaded a new version (0.4.190 Beta) and now I only get the messeage "It looks like something unexpected occured. A log file will be sent to FSFX Packages automatically." And when I click OK I am asked if I wan't to restart and if I click Yes the same message appears again. Tried restart of computer and still the same message. Runnig both FSX and P3D v4.1. Worked just fine yesterday. Regards Christian

I want to set the hat switch on my Saitek Yoke to Chaseplane but I cannot set to the 8 points only pan left/pan right are available assignments - Any suggestions? hi kevin, i have had chaseplane installed for a while now, i am on p3d4.2 and to be honest here i am getting very frustrated with the way the program is working. my sim is actually working great on an 15 sandybridge oc 2500k oc 4.1, i have active sky asca ,rex4, soft clouds aivlasoft efb navigraph simlink, vpilot aircraft include fslabs a320 a2a cs757 and all pmdg tube liners. they all work fine on my rig, although i am conservative with my settings. the thing that makes me cuss at my machine right now is your program. problem1: chaseplane keeps changing views without any input. Hi: I wanted to let you know about a possible conflict. I installed the new Leonardo MD-80 in P3D Ver. 4.2, and it kept crashing to desktop after a few minutes. I have Chaseplane and VRS Tackpack installed. I read a message on the Leonardo board at AVSIM stating that removing the VRS module from the dll.mxl file solved the problem. I tried this and it worked; no crash. Just wanted to let you know. I don’t mind making the changes my dll.xml file, but its something you might want to look at in the future. Hi Keven, Have been using the experimental version on P3Dv4.1 without incident up to a few days ago. Now the UI screen does not show up anywhere. I can, however, still use my presets. I have now updated P3D to v4.2 and am still getting the same result. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ChasePlane but still get the same result. Can you kindly advise me on how to restore the UI please. Many thanks Best Regards John

This problem has been happening off and on for several months. I have all my views preset and they work fine (most of the time). Then for some unknown reason when I change a view, say going from the pilot view to the copilot view, it snaps back to the pilot view position. It won't stay locked on to the new view I selected. It does this on every view I select. Don't know if I have accidently changed something or not. Right now I'm using P3d v 4.2 but it also did it in v4. Jim

Hello all, anyone see this problem before? After installing P3D v4.2, I had everything setup and working perfectly. This morning, I decided to move the old prop installation to my new SSD drive so I uninstalled VFX central and reinstalled to the new location. Now, when I try to run CP, I see it active in the task manager and taskbar but cannot access the GUI. I tried to uninstall/install again, with reboots and still the same problem. Any clues?

Hello In p3dv4. 2 for some reason they did away with the numpad keys to zoom externally. Can I assign this in the keysettings. I managed to assign the joystick top hat trying to do this as well with keys. Many thanks in advance

Keven or others, Within P3D i see the recommendation to delete the <Shaders> folder after installing new scenery or upgrading to a new version. Now i wonder what this function in ChasePlane does? Anyone?
