ChasePlane Support

Just as the tile says, I can't get any of my zoom controls to work, either in the camera controls or with hotkeys. I've tried disabling experimental versions and uninstalling and reinstalling Chase Plane. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

I would very much like to SLOOOOW down the speed between camera views, but seem totally unable to comprehend how this is done. A little help would be most welcome. Thanks for reading. Regards. M.

When I use chaseplane I get the following error the lights turn off with in cockpit view looking out the front but once I look off center they turn back on P3DV4 chaseplane pmdg 777 windows 10 drivers upto date

After creating cam views and assigning keys and buttons for all my aircraft, I've installed another addon that requires those key bindings. Is it possible to change assignments 'en mass' for Chaseplane views, or must I do every view, on every aircraft, individually? Pleeeeeeeeease tell me its possible;-)))

Hi, When for instance doing replays it would be nice if you could have the option to have world camera as a "shortcut keyboard" command like with every other cameras in the VC and external . Some times i need to capture the moment down the runway via those "static" cameras and hate to bring up the chase plane panel to switch with the mouse. Or am i missing something ? Off cause i would need to reassign those keys to the next airport i eventually would visit but its much easier to switch world cam view that way. Thanks Michael Moe

Keven I went through pain staking detail to assure I didn't use any of the CP used cameras i.e. camera 1,5,6,or 8 when I set up my own custom camera views for my PMDG 737 virtual cockpit since when I previously used some of the above cameras and the associated HotKeySelect assignments they were all commented out of my aircraft.cfg files (wasn't happy about that). So I read your 1 page manual posting and only used cameras 0,7, and 9 so not to conflict with CP or the cameras typically used by P3D (i.e. cameras 1,2,3, and 4). I bought chaseplane yesterday and I still have not received any serial for it. It is not in my spam folder or in any other folder. I contactet support, but still no serial up to now...

I'm brand new with ChasePlane. I've figured out most of the basics including how to control the speed of mouse look. However, I can't figure out how to change the speed of the mouse scroll wheel zoom. If I go to Camera > Advanced and set the Global zoom slider it has no effect on the mouse wheel zoom. If I click the mouse icon the sliders for zoom say N/A. Is there any way to set the speed of the mouse wheel zoom when in mouse look?

In CP I have an outside view in front of the cockpit to see the animated pilots in the PMDG's. But when the plane changes his heading, the plane keeps horizontal and the earth is banking. Hello, I'm recently getting this error when launching chaseplane: Downloaded file is not signed form Oldprop Solutions Inc. This message comes after chaseplanes downloaded an update (I'm using the experimental updates) I had it once before but it was fixed by updating to the fall creator update of Windows 10. But now it is back. I checked my w10 updates and I'm fully updated. My system is freshly installed a couple of weeks ago. Hi there, I've been using Chaseplane for a while now with no real problems until today. Every time I start a flight at Aerosoft's EGLL or EDDF in the FSlabs 320, chaseplane stops responding. None of the assignments I have change views, the pan stops, and if I close and restart CP, it happens again. It's only with the FSlabs bird, and it seems it only happens at Aerosoft airports. I did a couple of flights yesterday at some other airports with no problems. I've tried reinstalling both Chaseplane and the aircraft. I have most probably missed something, but I just installed the VRS for P3DV4.1 and when using Chaseplane the pilot's head remains stationary while the cockpit rotates around the various axis relative to the head postion. Hard to explain, but if I roll into a 90 degree angle of bank to the right my pilot view remains vertical but the cockpit rolls 90 degrees to the right. Exactly opposite of what it should be doing and very disorienting to say the least. I have played with the f,horizon motion control to no avail. If I close Chaseplane the view goes back to normal using the P3D view system. What have I missed?

OK so I have read the forums and watched your Track IR video. My problem is something has changed in the last couple of weeks. Once Track IR has been loaded I have always been able to leave it on even after shutting down FSX and Chase Plane. All I would have to do is restart FSX with Chase Plane and Track IR worked fine. Never had to restart Track IR unless I had to restart the computer. Mind you I have made NO changes to anything in the last few months. All of the sudden now when I start FSX and Chase Plane and Track IR in minimize, Chase Plane does not recognize Track IR and I have to restart Track IR with FSX and Chase Plane running for it to work. Keven, please address this. This has happened 100% of the time in the last few days. For example, just now I turned on my PC. Started CP It has an update, 4.185 All I see on-screen now is the TFDi Design 717 and v0.4.185 screen with the Initializing screen behind it. It's been frozen for ten minutes now. This ALWAYS happens when I first run CP, since the other day. Not one thing has been changed on my PC. Please advise.

I have tried several times to enter the serial number but I keep getting a note saying they don't recognize the number. Tom

Hi Enjoying Chaseplane, but working on trying to improve some general performance concerns with P3Dv4 (reducing settings, scenery tweaks etc). I wanted to know if it would make a noticeable difference whether Chaseplane is installed on the same drive as P3Dv4 or not. I have my sim installed on a Hybrid 2TB drive and Chaseplane installed on the OS SSD drive. If I reinstalled Chaseplane to the same drive as P3dV4 would I expect to see any noticeable performance improvement (e.g. less stutter with panning?) or is it not worth it. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this before I try it. Thanks Tom

dear keven hope your doing great, i had issue with chaseplance, i dont know why my xbox controller lookaround is not working, normally it used to work before since update its not working, normally right analog stick was assigned default for look around now it t doesnt responsd. i did try switching off experimental mode and back on still no luck. please help me. waiting for your speedy reply Best Regards

Hello, Not sure if this has been asked before, is there a way of freezing the current camera? What i mean, is so once the camera position is set it ignores the controller input? The reason i ask is that i use a Xbox controller to setup the camera, this works really well, but for some reason the camera continues to move after i set the position. Applying the reverse axis does stop this, but it's pretty fiddly, often requiring the exact same amount of reciprocal input.

Hello, Chaseplane is still in the beta phase. Can I temporarily disable the program to fly without chaseplane or do I have to uninstall the program and reinstall later ) Claus

This might be the most frustrated I've ever been in the sim world. I had chase plane, absolutely amazing product! But I could never get my static views to work. So, I followed a checklist by someone in the forums, and that list consisted of deleting the cameras.cfg file from the appdata/prepar3dv3 file and then loading it again to build a new .cfg file, then re-loading chase plane. After that, P3D wouldn't even boot! Crash to desktop every single time. So i thought maybe if I uninstall chase plane, it'll go away. Well there isn't even an option to uninstall chase plane from the control panel. I had to manually find the file in windows explorer and uninstall it that way. B…

Hello I am currently trying to assign an AM in P3Dv4.1 and need to know how many cores does ChasePlane require?

About half way through a flight, about a half hour, my pilots view starts to go in and out from around 50-60. After about thirty seconds of that the screen goes black on all inside cameras. My external cameras work. While viewing from the outside, none of my controls work. This problem is in FSX SE only, not my PREPARED v4.

I am experiencing an issue where MANY airports are not listed in static camera list. For example, even when aircraft is located on a runway, or at a gate at any of the following airports, the airport where I am located is missing: all FlightBeam airports; FT KTPA; DD KBFI; FSDT KORD, DFW. This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list, rather only airports I have tested. I was becoming concerned that it only affected addon airports, but when sitting at KORD, neither KORD, or KMDW are listed, yet KCGX is listed.
