ChasePlane Support

Hello all, Since the last update I have been experiencing a strange issue. With chaseplane minimized and not touched, I am able to use my assigned keyboard shortcuts to switch from one preset to the other. When I go to my taskbar and click on the chaseplane symbol, I immediately loose control of my shortcut keys. I can press what I want but nothing helps. Only restarting the chaseplane program seems to work (as long as I keep it minimized.) Is this a known bug and will there be a fix for it or there a way to remedy this problem? I was able to assign all the axes in the settings, but when I enable chase plane there is already a constant input to several axes. I tried slowing down the speed, but that just results in a slow sinking spiral that I can't correct. I calibrated the SpaceNavigator, but that didn't help. Where might those inputs be coming from?

Hello! I've been using ChasePlane for a long time now but as much as I try to get used to the shaking effect on the ground as much I become disappointed. Everything with ChasePlane is perfect for me except this (little) point. So the problem is: The camery is moving when I put the ground slider to the top. So far so good. BUT what I am missing is a real shaking effect, where the camera is moving really quick due to a shaking / vibrating of the plane (for example in real aircraft you have a slight constant vibrating when the engines are turnt on). Hi all, I was out of my computer for quite some time. This morning I lauched the sim, and Chaseplane started to update (experimental). The update stop at 99%, and after few minutes I got this message : "The downloaded file is not signed by oldprop solutions". Same thing when starting VFXCentral. Any solution to this ? Hi! Just started experiencing a problem where if I move the camera using the keyboard and pan with the mouse at the same time the movement appears to skip or jitter. The problem doesn't happen if I use a controller or if I pan and move individually. It only occurs when I try to do both at the same time. It was fine when I last flew on Friday. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Using Prepar3D V4

Hi All, Thought I'd ask this just to see if anyone has had this problem or heard of it happening, please note I am not saying this is a Chaseplane problem but has started since installing it. I am using P3D V4 and while I am in sim I have random view changes and flap movements, this happens as at random points, nothing that I can find a pattern of or anything like that. To be sure that its not a key combination or macro combination I've gone through P3D and my Keyboard and Joystick software to make sure that there is nothing set. Hi, just purchased chaseplane and have set my first cameras up, onboard and outside with no issues, very impressed. However when pressing scan airports to set up static cameras I get an immediate crash, this also happens if I try to regenerate airports from the preferences. I have searched and found this post however there was no reply. I am running p3d v4 and have tried chaseplane with both stable and experimental builds(v0.390) Is this a feature not implemented yet? Hey! I just bought Chaseplane yesterday, seems like an awesome software, however I have an issue. I cant seem to get the middle mouse button overlay to work. Aswell as the framing overlay (or something along those lines) Hope you can help! Thanks

Recently I noticed much more clipping in static view. If I remember correctly it used to be better before. Shot is taken in P3DV4 on the exp chaseplane.

I have installed an evaluation copy of ChasePlane primarily to test whether it can recognise buttons on a GoFlight P8 module. Sadly it can't. FSUIPC does and recognises a button on the P8 module as joystick #101, button 6. There is a workaround. Assign the view to a key combo and then use that combo in FSUIPC for the relevant button. But that requires a key combo to be available and depending on how CP is configured the user may require multiple key assignments which may or may not be available. Is it possible for ChasePlane to recognise a button on a GoFlight module?

Hi, Using stable branch. I uninstalled CP using VFX Central and installed EzDok 2. When I start P3DV4 I get a prompt that CP detected EzDock config and removed them... Why? Is it VFX? I think its a bug. Update 1, Its not VFX, Apperantly CP is not complety uninstalled.. as it still runs something when I start P3D.. this is for sure a bug. Update 2: Uninstalling CP doesnt remove it from P3D exe,xml and from the program files / oldprop directory. Dekel

After installing VFX Central and Chase Plane on my gaming rig and then flying on my main rig a day later I was greeted by the "You have reached the maximum number of computers allowed for your account" message in VFX Central. Uninstalled the whole thing from my laptop straight away, as I need it most on my main rig but to no avail. I found some previous topic from people with the same problem so sent a mail to ***@ and ***@oldprop.com with the request to re-activate. Haven't had a reply in almost 3 days (mailed 3 times already) so tried the facebook support page for FSFX and am still waiting for an answer. I have P3D v3 (doesn't show the version but latest update), Chasecam v 0.3.89. The Preferences/Control assignments were working before, but now it's not possible to assign keys or joystick buttons. Chasecam doesn't react to the already assigned buttons either. As such, it's almost not possible to use it. I have skipped a few updates so I can't tell when this bug appeared, I've left P3D aside for a few weeks.

My assigned buttons no longer work in P3d v4 after the latest update. I also cannot change the assignments. Looks like CP does no longer 'talk' properly to the controllers in P3d v4. Works fine in P3d v3.4. I use TM Hotas Warthog. Windows 10 Pro 64. All the assignments are shown and load correctly. I can change the views on the CP set-up pane. I tried to delete the cache but no success. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks. Charles

After the latest update, my head switch is no longer working. My Joystick is X52 Saitek ! I just wanted to make a flight, but it does not work. Yesterday everything was all right. Everything else Works in Chase Plane without problems ! Please correct the error thanks . Best Torsten

Is there a way to ROLL BACK an "update" as this latest ruined my HAT switch mode. I don't like being FORCED to have these updates without letting me know AHEAD of time what's going to be changed.

Hello, I have a question regarding Chaseplanes default zoom level. The default zoomlevel seems to be 1.00. However i would like to change this to lets say 0.70. Now this is possible, but once i switch to another view and switch back, the zoom level resets itself to 1.00. (No, i can't just set the camera backwards as my ''head'' will be in the seat, plane: PMDG 737 NGX) Question: Is there a way to edit the default zoom level in Chaseplane so i don't have to change it all the time? Hello guys, I would like to report something, not sure if it's a general issue or happening only to me. I was updating my presets when my Internet connection went down. At that moment I got a message from ChasePlane saying that it was unable to save the presets. Then ChasePlane shut down by itself. Now I cannot restart it anymore, even after restarting the computer. I got a message saying that the error was detected and reported. Could you guys please have a look at this issue? Thanks in advance for your feedback. Kr, Enrico

Hi all, My apologies, if this has been asked and answered before - used a quick search, but came up empty... Is it possible to re-arrange views in ChasePlane? Currently, my only solution of re-arranging, is to delete and re-add them in a different order, which I find a bit time consuming and unpractical. I was wondering if I've missed something... I've tried drag and drop, but that doesn't work.

Im sure its a setting somewhere I have got wrong - however when using chase plane and in the cockpit, my HatSwitch doesn't pan around the aircraft, Middlemouse for panning works, but I can't Pan using the Yoke. Equally outside views don't pan either with the Hatswitch - again fine if using the Middle mouse. In P3Dv4 in controls its set to pan. Can someone advise what should be turned on/ff in Chaseplane and/or P3DControls to ensure panning works using the hatswitch?

I have the following keys assignments for CP 'A', 'S', Shift A and Shift S, a carryover from my EzDok usage. These worked fine in Prepar3D v3.4 and still do, I could quickly change from inside to outside, cycle forwards and back. HOWEVER, I cannot get these same keys to operate the same in P3Dv4, particularly when using the pmdg 737NGX - PMDG have these same assigned keys to navigate around their product. It's a hit and miss which view I will end up when I try to use them. I have been trying to find a way to disable the PMDG Camera views but have been unsuccessful. Can someone advise if this is possible in the NGX or can they inform me which keys they are using for …

This never happened before, and I am using the realair lancair legacy v2 in P3D v4. It also happens in a few other planes like the A2A planes as well too, and its frustrating. Does anyone know whats wrong? I am using the latest ChasePlane experimental build too.

hi , i thought today i would finally switch to VC in P3D v4 after years of fighting against it, to help me in the switch over i got a copy of Chase plane ( latest beta ), although i loved the program great job by the way guys!, sadly because i fly with triple monitors when i undocked and dragged my side views over there was no scenery just the aircraft ( orbyx, EU LC) in my iFly 737 NG. i also tried default aircraft but got the same result. that's a pity i think i could have got on with chaseplane really well, but i am a triple screen simmer i like looking out of the windows!!, is there a fix or a work around for this or i am for ever going to have to stick with vc side v…
