ChasePlane Support

Hi all! I have a quick question regarding Chaseplane which i cannot seem to find an answer for: Does CP work correctly when doing the walkaround on the A2A Cessna 172? I am currently using Ezdok, and have seen a lot of information on CP to make me consider switching (the main reason being that ezdok does not work correctly when doing the walkaround, the camera views are messed up). Everything else i have heard makes me want to jump ship, but if CP does not work correctly when doing the walkaround then there is less reason to switch. Thank you for your time.

Hello all, I would like to upgrade my Simulator with ChasePlane. Now I have a question about the product: When I buy now the Beta Version for $39, am I allowed to download the final Version 1 or need I to pay again $39 for the final Version 1? I hope someone can help me...

Since the last update of 1.8.6 I'm facing crashes on P3D 3.4.9 then I updated to 3.4.18 yesterday and I'm having same crashes, I uninstalled Chase Plane and those crashes stopped, so my guess is that Chase Plane was causing them. Anyone else reported it?

Not a problem but the Majestic Dash is such a beautiful plane. And it is sad because as we know most of the effects doesn't work correctly. Any improvements planed for the future to made this effects work with the plane? Thx Max

I did a complete re staging of my computer.over the week-end Once done I came across a stange disagreement between ChasePlane and P3D (v 3.4 and v4) on the zoom level of the screen. Almost all my presets on ChasePlane are with a zoom level of 1 and the views I get on my new installation are very much was they were in my previous installation. What is strange is that the zoom level mention on the top right of the screen now no longer agree with the zoom level of chaseplane. Basically ChasePlane reads 1 while P3D reads .59 and ChasePlane is obviously right. In my previous installation, there was a agreement on the zoom level Not really a major issue but I am wonde…

Hi there: I haven't used P3D in a couple of months, and I'm just coming back to it today. Chaseplane is a complete mess; I can't pan with the POV hat or move the camera around despite still being able to set these controls in the Chaseplane window. I can't move the cameera with the middle mouse button, nor do I get the usual selector by holding the middle mouse button down. In my cockpit view, the camera is showing up in weird, random spots and occasionally bouncing from place to place. I haven't changed anything with my P3D settings since using it last a couple of months ago. Did something change with a new version that added support for v4? What happened …

Ive tested this by loading P3dv4 build 4.0.28.21686 without chaseplane loaded up. Sooooo I'm setting up for a longhaul, only to find out I'm unable to pan left or right with my hat switch. Also, when changing views my screen flickers.

The individual directions are recognized as buttons for the purposes of acting like a HAT switch for view Pan/Tilt, but not for presets. Also, if I might make a suggestion, could we have the EZDOK function of toggling the HAT from view preset switching (buttons) to acting like a pan/tilt as mentioned? I decided to move from Ezdok v1 to Chaseplane last night and I was able to configure all my planes and fly briefly to test them out. After seeing an update today I'm getting constant CTD after I load up the PMDG 737. I'm getting the following errors. So I noticed Chaseplane got an update today when I booted up my sim. Since then whenever I pan around in any view the sim (P3D V4H1) just rips out and CTD. Will roll back and investigate. **Update** Turned off Experimental Updates. Try to switch views and sim freezes then CTD.

Hello, having searched all over for answers and not finding any I am hoping to adress the following issue: when i pan around the cockpit the view will stick in a different place, so if I look out the window over my left shoulder and return to the forward view, it will return to a position behind me until I balance it out buy looking over the other shoulder, keeping doing this from side to side until it finds the middle again....very weird. its driving me nuts and i hope there is just something silly I am doing....have deleted the camera.cfg to no avail...some help would be greatly appreciated! Hello all! First of all, please let me say the following: I was a very happy EZCA-User for years without any big problems. But then, a few weeks ago, a friend told me, I should try ChasePlane. I was quite sceptic, if CP is really as good as EZCA. Now I am using CP for a few weeks, and I have to say, I am really more then impressed! I even don't want to go back to EZCA, CP is really the best software for the views in my eyes. Now I have a feature request, which I was missing in EZCA, and now in CP, too. It may be me but I am struggling to adjust extra views with Chaseplane. I have pilots view open then open a new extra window to trail behind the external view of aircraft. Sometimes I undock it. Before Chaseplane I'm sure I could click that window in focus and adjust the view whether spot view or fixed spot with hat switch now hat switch moves the main window even when the new one is in focus It just doesn't seem to work properly for me. Fixed spot will give a view 'side on' to the aircraft which I find hard to alter. How do others do this please? Thanks

To the Chase Plane folks, I've been trying to set the Chase Plane cameras in the Sim Skunkworks F-84 for P3D V. 4, but the sim keeps crashing when I try to set up the cameras. Hi, I have a 3 camera 220 degree cockpit view, set up using Immersive Display Pro with the output Viewgroup file exported into Prepar3d v4. This file uses the frustum method to set the view parameters for the three cameras. No panel is displayed or necessary as I use hardware for the panels. I started the sim and set this default view as a chaseplane on-board preset, changed the view to an external one and set a preset for that too. I allocated keyboard shortcuts to the two views. When I restart the sim, the default view is fine. I press the shortcut to see the external view (also fine), but when I press the shortcut to return to the default view, the zoom …

Hi!! I am using P3D v4 and since yesterday, I began to have an issue with Chaseplane and my P3D + TrackIR. That is, if I change to "Spot view", no matter which AC I fly, I cannot fix my camera by "Space+mouse". I mean It will revert back to tail view by itself once I released the key. I can only rotate my TrackIR to fix the angle of the view. In the past, when I shifted to Spot view, I can use "Space+mouse" to change the camera angle and fix it. I think it's an issue between TrackIR and ChasePlane because if I turn off TrackIR, then it would be normal. Is there any fix? Thanks!!

This a continuation of my previous thread here: I saw in a different thread posted about the zoom feature not working, and Keven advised to disable advanced features. This fixed the zoom issue, but now smooth scroll doesn't work, nor do any of the static cameras, which is a feature I use a lot. I have tried both experimental and stable channels, but the issue persisted with both. I use both AS16 and ASCA on all of my flights, i don't know if that even matters. I also tried the delete camera.cfg per the instructions in the sticky. It did say it found and fixed a configuration error when I started CP, and went back to normal until I shut P3D down. Hi Chaseplane works well for me and the Majestic Dash. One problem is the Sound on Wingview which is very silent. Can someone confirm that or any suggestions? And hopefully some of the effects are working in the near future like Gyro...! Thx Max

I installed chase plane. Start up FSX steam and chase plane initializes and starts up. With FSX running I click anywhere on the chase plane box and the whole program whites out and crashes without fail. Ive reinstalled just to check...same result. It is v03.21 beta.
