ChasePlane Support

Hello Guys, I had an problem. When I start ChasePlane, it takes about 50-80% of the CPU. After launching, the bridge needs about 10-20%. Is this normal and wanted ? Im running on the latest Beta version and P3D v4!

Hello Everyone, Has anyone tried to use ChasePlane with the F1 GTN-650? When I use the GTN-650 with the A2A 182 in P3D v4 and ChasePlane running the GTN-650 locks up. Any ideas? Thanks, John

Finally I changed from EZDOK V2 to Chaseplane, I thought about it for a long time... You know, humans are a creature of habit. Now I ask myself why I did not change earlier ^^ It is already an awesome and so nice intuitive tool, you guys could trash the plans for a manual. Just everything is way better then on EZDOK. Please keep up the good work and thank you!

This is a minor annoyance issue but maybe someone knows a trick I don't.. Chaseplane for months in windows 7 minimized /closed to taskbar icon area per the settings I chose, upgraded to windows 10 and it worked fine shortly, now it does not. Doesn't matter if I run as admin or not, or let it open automatically with V4 , or start chaseplane manually. I have so much open when flying on vatsim with a VA and charts that having chaseplane take up a whole 'slot' now in windows vs. the little icon is just.. a little annoying. Anybody have an idea ?

Small problem I hope someone might have an answer to. I have 2 PC's setup in network and use the same mouse to move between both monitors(using Input Director) When using CP the mouse wheel zoom works fine. I don't have the option ticked for "MB Zoom(MB Hold + Scroll)" as I find it difficult to hold down the mouse wheel button and scroll at the same time. Problem is when I move the cursor to the other monitor to check some charts, etc. and use the mouse scroll wheel, I still get the zooming effect in the cockpit. Is there a work around for this? Hello everybody, yesterday evening I joined the club and got myself ChasePlane. So far I have to say: Good job, gentleman. In terms of program design and available functions it is simply outstanding. Nevertheless, I have a small problem with TrackIR which I will try to describe in the following: I am running P3Dv3 and since FSX I have been using EZDok 1 and EZDok 2 together with TrackIR which worked flawlessly. You can move your head in every direction and the virtual head follows the movements of the real world counterpart without a problem. Would be great if we can set out own cameras for the cinematics mode to scroll through, is there a way to do this? Also since replay mode in P3D is still the same as in FSX, which is very quirky and not good at all and FSRecorder no longer works. Could future versions of ChasePlane implement a customizeable replay mode with the power and features of FSRecorder? I would love to be able to watch a replay of my take off and landings from various different spots or cameras. But there's no way to do it, or at least a simple way, and thats one thing I love about ChasePlane is that the entire experience with the add-on is very intuitive and natural.

Hi everyone, I have just noticed something which i'm wondering if there is a way to fix it. I am using the Aerosoft CRJ & i have all views configured and saved. However if i put the S key and just quickly take a look from a locked spot view outside and then push the assigned key to go back to my main Virtual Cockpit view, It does not seem to go to the On-Board ( Chaseplane ) view. I don't think i was having this issue before but i am now.

Every now and again (probably every alternate beta build), my external horizontal panning goes a bit weird. As I pan around (regardless of the speed at which I do it), at one particular spot the camera seems to reset by about 30 degrees and then catches up. It's not a pause - it actually jumps back a bit, then picks up again. All my other camera actions are absolutely fine - and I haven't really changed any effects or assignent settings for ages (haven't needed to!!). Great work - it's a fantastic utiity! Adam.

Hello! I have problem with the screen flashing when I use the hat switch on my Saitek yoke. It flashes only for short moment when I start moving the hat switch. This does not happen with my Logitech stick only with the Saitek yoke. And if I exit CP the screen does not flash. Hello! I'm having a recent issue where in ALL planes and ALL preset views when I press and hold (or just press) middle mouse to look around, the view like pans quickly directly down. This is annoying cause it's happening more and more, and it's not very much help on take off when you want to select a button but instead, the camera glitched to under you, and you have to press and hold it again and slowly drag the mouse to your view. Hi, Chaseplane "updates" automatically when I activate P3D4 (as it should). However, I am not sure I am reading the updates correctly. Update v0.3.57 Beta Exp says I can: Set HDR Settings for individual Camera Modes in Preferences/Camera Is this the "Enable HDR Settings"? If so, a previous post says to Disable it as it affects P3Dv4 HDR. Mine had that problem, so mine is disabled. I guess I was thinking it meant for individual cameras - am I incorrect? G'day, I have done searches and can't seem to find an answer for this. ChasePlane is working great but I can't get 2d panels to open up. For example I can't pop out the CDU, PFD and so on which up until now I got around it with setting up cameras for it in vc. Now I've hit a wall as I need to open up the panel for FS2Crew and it just flashes and disappears. Any help would be appreciated. Apologies if there is an answer elsewhere maybe I have been searching the wrong terms. Thanks in advance Bruno

I also bit the bullet and bought ChasePlane today. First off I really don't like the always connected interface and secondly the fact that two programs start when I fire up FSX (VFX Central and ChasePlane), like a tethered entourage. Why not just have one program running that actually does the work!? Thirdly and probably related to point number two, I ticked the option to launch VFX Central with FSX, assuming that I need to do that in order to have ChasePlane launch? But it completely covers the start-up menu of FSX, so that I cannot see what aircraft or airfield to choose etc. I cannot move it out of the way and any attempt to click in that area just makes parts of the …

Good morning, Kevin. In experimental update 0.3.42 is stopped working the Saitek yoke buttons, If it detects the ones I have configured with FSUIPC, But I can tell you that in stable version 0.3.29 if it works fine Greetings.

Can we install Chase plane outside this file? Or must it be installed there by default

Hi! It is my understanding that I can't use ChasePlane with FSX running in full screen mode? I always use fullscreen mode as I prefer it. I therefore want to use ChasePlane in P3Dv4 but continue using Ezdok V2 in FSX (as I can use that in full screen mode). However, despite changing the settings in ChasePlane to not allow it to start up with FSX, it still removes Ezdok configuration from my FSX CFGs when I start it up. Also... a "Would you like to" option would have been nice before ChasePlane just did it and THEN told me it had! I may have chosen not to if I was given a choice or any warning! Is there a solution to this? Or am I wrong in my understanding t…
