EMB505 Phenom 300 HD Series for FSX | P3D

I just got my test version of the Phenom 300 and have started to have a look at the autopilot. First thing I changed was to have the PFD show the VS mode, FPM, ALTS in FD mode, as well as in AP mode. That helps with initial flight prep. Second thing I've run across is that the Altitude selector only steps in 1000s, which is OK, except for when I hit ALT at say 4400 feet. From now on, I can only select 5400, 6400 etc which cannot be right. Anyone else run into this and is there a way to reset this? Any other favorite peeves (except for the FLC mode which I have no way of improving upon) that you would like me to look into?

Hello All, I really enjoy flying the Carenado Phenom 100/300. It's possibly my favorite corporate aircraft, however the giant G1000 screens are sucking the life out my performance, which is not easy to do on my system. For example, I can run the PMDG 737, 747, 777 and the FSL A320 as smooth as silk into a dense autogen area such as NYC with add on scenery. But, the minute I take my Carenado Phenom out of the hangar, performance drops (not a crazy amount, but enough to cause a bit of lag). So, my question to you all is; do you have any tips/tricks on how to mitigate the lag associated with the G1000 screens provided by Carenado, or any other developer for that …

I have read some of the related topics and I found Bert's fix for the course needle rotation. I added the missing 'dnor' entries but the course needle still only adjusts in one direction. The issue I'm having is trying to get to the point where I can add letters for a flight plan for P3D. I know you rotate the outer knob then rotate the smaller knob to start cycling through the letters and for some reason mine just stopped working. I sit there and rotate but no letters ever come up. It has worked before then I didn't use it for a long time and now it's doing this and I was wondering if this has happened to anybody else lately? I haven't tried to reinstall just yet.

Is the Carenado Phenom 300 a good buy now? Its currently listed for 30% off holiday sale and I was wondering if all the issues have been addressed and fixed by Carenado.I recently purchased the C525A but was not able to get the Navigraph database installed so I am thinking of the 300. Hi Folks, Being a newbie myself to the Phenom 300 I initially found it a challenge working out how to do stuff like opening up the doors and setting the plane up in a cold & dark configuration etc, due to Carenado's lack of documentation. Unless I am missing a file or something. To fill the gaps in my knowledge I started watching You Tube tutorials and noticed at various stages different windows would appear giving the options I needed, but there were no instructions on how to get them to appear. I bought the Phenom 300 recently and it has been a frustrating experience to say the least. For payware this seems unacceptable. I'll put off a general review until I give this product a better chance and hopefully find a fix for all the bugs. So far this aircraft has caused my FSX to randomly have fatal errors and crash. Enough so I can't finish a flight. It also causes the view (spacebar - mouse) to freeze. I've uninstalled multiple times to check it and it's definitely the Phenom 300 addon. HI all, I've submitted a ticket to Carenado about this, so i just wanna know if some can replicate the issue: in LEVC (Manises, Valencia, Spain), only the first STAR (PROC -> SELECT ARRIVAL) has a sequence of wpoints. The rest are just empty! and this is obviously incorrect. Best regards and txs

I own the Carenado Phenom 100 and am considering getting the 300. Are there any improvements in the 300 over the 100? Does the autopilot work any better. I have issues with the autopilot in the 100. Example, using the FLC function, or holding the glide slope ETC. Thanks, Jim

Hi yesterday I installed the Carenado Phenom 300 serie into my p3d v3.2. But when I load it in P3d you can clearly see that textures are missing in the cockpit. I have tried to look around on the forums but hasent found any good solution for this problem. B.r Eddie

Hello, maybe I over´saw the topic but i have a huge problem after take off with the 300. It climb like a rocket , nearly to stall and it is very hard to get it under control and make it a "normal" climb. The Trim is set in the green field between 7.5 and 7.7. Hello. I have the Phenom 300 v1.3 with Bert's GTN 750 mod and a registered version of FSUIPC. I mapped one of my Thrustmaster Warthog throttle axis to "Throttle" in FSUIPC. When I advance the physical throttle for TO power the virtual throttles begin to spike, move forward about halfway then immediately return to idle--every time. All other aircraft (non Carenado) aircraft work ok. This issue isn't addressed in the forum. Any ideas? Additional info: - In the P3D "Settings", "Controls" menu the "Enable Controllers" box is unchecked - All axis assignments are cleared in the same menus - All FSUIPC Axis' are properly calibrated - performed an uninstall, cleaned…

Hi, I am building a home cockpit for the Phenom 300. I am using a Leo Bodnar input card. Is it possible to use the mouse macro capture in FSUIPC (I am having trouble with the emergency lights which are not in the standard FS controls list). I have managed to assign other switches ok, these are the one listed in the FSUIPC FS controls list. Has anyone tried using a LUA script for this? I am a newbie to LUA but it looks like I may have to do some homework. any help appreciated regards Stinger

Hi Folks. As some of you will know, I have been having a few problems with the 300 in the boxed Deluxe version of FSX. I installed it into FSX-SE and it worked fine. This led me to think there was a problem with my FSX, however a friend from another Forum suggested I try installing FSX into a new folder away from Program Files (x86). I made a new folder simply called FSX into the main C:\ drive root folder. Installed FSX into it, installed the 300 and it works great. I installed the Navigraph Extension pack and updated to the latest Airac cycle and it works just fine. Hello, Does anyone knows how to fix the G1000 problem that it not showing the fix/vor/ndb/airports names in the MFD? Hello, Can anyone help me understand what is the problem with the altitude setup on the 300 with the Navigraph expansion? I'm trying to setup the altitude for the VNAV in the FPL screen but it always goes back to the first altitude set at the first point in the flight plan. I do not have this problem in the Phenom 100. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both planes, but the error keeps happening in the 300 FPL. Can anyone explain what am I doing wrong? Thank you In advance

I"m flying a departure from RLLL runway 6 SID CAB1A, the first few waypoints are (3000), CAB then LAO. There is a magenta leg on the NAV display, but when we cross CAB the CAB to LAO leg does not get selected (it stays white). If I manually select the CAB to LAO leg and activate it, it turns magenta. Why doesn't the g1000 select the next leg automatically -- it usually does. Does the first waypoint (3000) have something to do with it? Thanks, David

Hello guys, Have any of you being able to change the default 28000ft cruise level for the any flight plan using the Garmin Navigraph pack? I have the latest version of the plane and the ext pack and yet it is always defaulted to 28000ft, making the VNAV usesless since: a.) You have to change each way point to your real cruise level. b.) The Garmin is buggered and it doesn't allow me to change the altitude to something higher than 28000ft, or when you enter the next way point it reverts back to 28000ft. Hi Folks. I've decided to start a new topic for this as I feel that I am not alone in having this issue and I do feel it needs some fresh discussion to sort it out. In other posts I've stated that my G1000 unit does not have the SELECT ARRIVAL and SELECT DEPARTURE option active at startup. Jim has been good at pointing to various factors but in his last reply to me in another post he said to follow the G1000 pdf document. The first page of that pdf clearly shows both of these options as being active (cyan). My unit has these greyed out and it's driving me nuts trying to find out why.
