Hi everybody, I've been searching all over the net on how to fly this plane. I've seen a lot of vids incl. all from FsMania but I can't get a hold on the A/P procedure. Could someone please explain how to operate the A/P? Thanks in advance.

Hi again! I purchased the Navigraph Expansion off JustFlight as it said it was compatible with P3Dv3, however when I go to the installer it doesn't have an option to install for P3Dv3. Is there any way to force it to work please? I tried browsing the file location to be set in Program Files (X86).. etc etc.. P3DV3, however this didn't seem to work. Thanks

Hallo, I am running the Phenom 300 with Bert's GTN Mod 4.8 on FSX SP2. Whenever the autopilot is supposed to follow a given vertical guidance from ILS or GPS LPV, it tracks the glide path in a way that it consistently ends up about half a dot (and sometimes even a full dot and more!) below from what is displayed by the glide slope indicator. Aircraft is in full landing configuration at the appropriate airspeed when the glide slope is captured, weather is calm. Small deviations (maybe 1/4 dot) might be acceptable and real-world like, but half a dot and more? Is that a problem of the glide slope indicator not indicating correctly, or does the auto pilot jus…

Hi I am looking for a click spot to remove the yoke so i can get to the switches behind it. No problem moving the yoke around prior to T/O; but when AP is on at altitude how does one get to the switches? Maybe a small point, but would be nice to be able to do. Lennie

Is there a way for me to decrease the volume on the audio traffic warning? I mean other than turning my speaker volume down or clicking off traffic. Thank you

Hi all, Got a minor annoyance adjusting the course needle on the PFD. CDI=Vor1. Say the current heading is set to 30 degrees and I want to change it to 340 degrees and get there directly (ie: counter clockwise.) Problem is I get stuck on 0 (zero) and am forced to take the long way around to 340 degrees. Starting at 340 degrees and going clockwise past zero works as expected. Anyone (Bert) have the expertise to fix this for Carenado? TIA

Hi, I am using Bert's GTN 750 integration. There is a very small issue with the display of certain waypoint names on the PFD which I think has absolutely nothing to do with Bert's work, but with the way the GTN 750 works. In departure procedures, there are often altitude waypoints, like "500ft". These waypoints display on the PFD as "500€" on my system. The code used for the display of these waypoints in the PFD is: %((A:GPS WP NEXT ID, string))%!s! So, apparently, the GTN sends the altitude waypoint with an encoded character for the "ft" part of the "500ft" string, which then wrongly translates to the "€" symbol with the "Glass Gauge" font on my syste…

So, I used to fly a Phenom 100 professionally in real life, and that's essentially the reason I never bought the Carenado P100. The 300 is very sexy, however, and although normal-me knew better, its temptation was irresistible to 4-beers-me. "Alright!" I say, "let's make some bad decisions!" Those of you adamant that we should be voting with our money will hate me for this. The model and textures are, of course, gorgeous. The effects they made for the LED beacon and strobes are really cool and spot-on. In video Leg 1 of 3,when he chooses altitude he presses on the alt knob and it turns and the alt setting changes.I can not get this to work like that. When I right or left click on the alt knob it does high lite but nothing else. Also I have the same problem with Speed setting. It will change from knots to mach and high lite but that is all it will do. This is the Phenom 300 with no updates. Any suggestions please? Thank you

I purchased the Phenom 300 1.3 with the Navdata expansion v1.3, updated it to the current AIRAC cycle (1604) and jumped into the cockpit to have some fun. I planned a quick Barbados- St Maarten flight (TBPB-TNCM) to test the autopilot capabilities and discovered that... - FLC mode does NOT work at all. I set an initial altitude of 8000ft and the autopilot just kept climbing like a rocket after FL080. - SPD SEL mode does NOT work. Suposely you have to set the corresponding thrust mode for each phase of flight, well I did and couldn't see the autopilot controling airspeed in any way (nor pitch nor N1). - VNV altitudes in the flightplan page cannot be changed…

Hi, is there any possibility to change the brightness of the standby ADI? For me it is way too bright. Maybe some gauge can be hacked up? Like the trick for the left section of the MFD in the GTNMFD.xml? Thanks

Hi, I recently got me the Phenom 300 with the Navigraph extension package. I have and use Bert's excellent GTN 750 integration his various other fixes (thanks Bert!) without issues, but I also wanted to take a look at what the stock Carenado offer is like. Now, I was able to build a flight plan in the G1000 with departure, en-route-section using airways (a real PIA) and an arrival/approach section. Phew. It all appears to be a bit shaky and buggy, but well. However, what totally turned me off is what happened when once enroute, I was given a direct-to to a fix in the flight plan. The procedure as I know it is to navigate the flight plan, put the cursor over the waypoi…

I've been trying unsuccessfully to get the GTN 750 to work with the Phenom 300. The unit starts up ok and I can even setup a flight plan when I try to hit 'nav' on the autopilot nothing happens. Also waypoint info is not displaying on the PFD which is probably why the 'nav' issue is happening. I've gotten the 750 to work with other aircraft but not this one. Am I doing something wrong here?

I was on Vatsim when the controller gave me a SQ Code . I have all Go -Flight modules so i set the given sqawk and when you insert the final 4th didget everything goes to all zero's Tried and tried so finally i told the controller i couldn't set it and he let me go . I tried setting it in the panel directly instead of on my Go-Flight modules but no way . Any one have this happen ?

Hi guys, I bought this bird today and I am trying to understand its systems since 3 hours. Some are logical, but some things I really do not understand :/ Have one stupid problem at the moment (see on the picture): How can I switch back to my active flight map on the middle display? Hi, I got an anoying problem I can't solve - maybe somebody had the same and can help me... At FL450 (and only FL450) I hear a "Bing-Sound" every few seconds (about 30 sec). If I descend to FL430 for example the anoying "Bing" is gone. So I thought that must have something to do with the cabin altitude. But everything is green - and even if I change cabin alt to Manuel and decrease cabin alt the "bing-sound" (kinda like the seatbelt sign remains...) I tried every knob - I just can't turn it off. And all systems are green (no yellow or red)... Would be great if somebody knows the answer ;-)

Hello all, I am running the Carenado Phenom 300 w/ the G1000 navigraph addon. Since applying the add-on, I've noticed that I no longer have moving map identifiers. I can see the airport markings and airspace, but no airport identifiers, navaids or my waypoints on my route. I tried uninstalling and re-installing but have the same outcome. I am not sure what I may have clicked because I've gone through the Menu settings, the map settings and I can't find anything that toggles on/off for this but clearly not to say it doesn't exist. It's for sure not the dcltr option. I tried clicking, clicking & holding the dflt map button but that does change anything on the sc…

Any one know how to increase the intensity courtesy light?When i turn it on at night the light lights up but i can't see any difference in the cabin. A while back seems i seen a post on it and i played with it and must of messed it up , cause preping my flight at night is real hard looking for switches ----Thanks Louis
