EMB505 Phenom 300 HD Series for FSX | P3D

Hello All, I was wondering if anybody knows a fix for the up/down action when at cruise ALT (FL370)? At normal speed everything seems to be fine, but when I speed up FSX to 8/16 x the speed, it starts up/down motion. I'm guessing that maybe what i'm seeing is the slight adjustments that are always being made by the auto pilot. When in normal time you wont really notice the minute changes that are being made to keep the heading and altitude, but speeded up they will appear magnified. Is there a fix or something I can change for the autopilot to keep everything straight? All input is greatly appreciated....... Cheers, Jason

Some of the G1000 defaults don't make sense to me so I changed them. There's a file named "G1000_configEMBP200.spb" inside the "EMB505_G1000.CAB" located in the gauges folder of your flight sim (FSX or P3D). You can change dislay brightness, map settings, V-speeds, autozoom, to name a few. Anything you change becomes the default and is there next time you fly. You can open "G1000_configEMBP200.spb" with a text editor (Notepad++) and look around BUT you can't change anything without first converting it to XML. Hello, haven't been able to get the GF-MCP to dial in the altitude. Doesn't function, the rest of the knobs/functions work. Can dial in altitude with the virtual knob though, just not the GF-MCP. This worked fine however with the previous Phenom 100.

Up to this point, I've input each waypoint along an airway, but that can be cumbersome and time-consuming. I've seen people comment about actually loading an airway into a flight plan, and have no idea how with the Phenom. Could someone please post a flow for the button-presses/inputs to properly add an airway to a flight plan with the Prodigy? Thanks!! Tim

Hi all, Could someone please post the entire [weight_and_balance] sectiom from the Phenom 300 aircraft.cfg. To those who also have the Phenom 100. Does the 300 suffer the same problem breaking free from standstill? Thanks in advance.

I swore up and down i'd never but any thing from Carenado again for the same reason i see a pile of guys post about too much money for what they put out and a lot of things don't work right . But i decided to give this little 300 a go cause Bert has made a mod to stick the GN750 in and is good enough to give it to any one who wants it and from what i read it makes it a totally difference plane to fly. I got the mode from Bert but a little chicken to try to put it in so i'm gonna go at Digital Theme Park on team speak and get some one to come and put it in for me on Team View. Now that I am developing a beginning level of proficiency with the Prodigy avionics suite, I have started making flights with ATC. I discovered right away, when given a vector, that I was unable to select an axact heading for the autopilot. I could only make adjustments in 10 degree increments. I seem to recall a discussion of this problem in this subforum, but I was unable to locate it, and I don't remember whether anyone offered a solution. Ideas, anyone? Thanks, Tom

Hello All, I recently purchased the Carenado Phenom 300 and have now upgraded to vs 1.2. A work in progress with the beta-tester clients er customers . The FLC still needs some work but I am impressed with the overall. I came across this article on the actual Embraer Phenom 300 from 2010 in an on-line aviation magazine. I found it a good read, and as a good simulation should be, more or less reminiscent of my Carenado Phenom 300 experience (your mileage may vary . My Phemom 300 keeps making random (?) pings once every few minutes or so. I initially though "oh, altitude alert is actually working", but it wasn't that. It seems to happen at higher alts, so I thought maybe it's some cabin pressure alert, since the cabin reaches 8700' at FL450 (I read somewhere it's meant to be at 6600', but that's obviously not how it's programmed). There's no lights coming on anywhere, and the system pages are all "normal". It's the same tone that I get when turning off YD on finals. First time Carenado buyer with the Phenom 300. Since the 1.1 update I am finding that my Artificial Horizon is not working near the destination. I am going to run another test flight to see exactly where, but as of now it works on takeoff and climb out, but does not work on descent, approach and landing. No bank angles, pitch angles, nothing. Just a straight and level indication. The second issue I am having involves the AP and the FLC. I've been flying another corporate jet that was released many years ago which was my benchmark for the 300's performance. Hello, I have the Phenom 300 and I am having a problem where if I try to scroll on a knob on the G1000 or anywhere there is that green high light, it will freeze up and not turn. It will also be highlighted green and turn with the animation, but nothing will happen. So if I try to change pages, the knob will highlight green and may or may not have the turning animation, but the page wont change. This happens on all knobs and wherever there is the green highlight if you drag the mouse over. I found this problem in their Phenom 100, and I haven't found a fix yet. I don't know if it is other products where the green highlight is. THanks!
