Update, not upgrade. It does not include VNAV and AIRAC support. There will be another version "soon" for that.

This is only supposed to fix the mentioned bugs.

I'm genuinely surprised by this update...surprised to see these things actually get fixed! 

 

Altitude capture is now working in V/S and FLC, but not PIT (a widely neglected and very useful mode).  The level-offs are not smooth when approaching the selected altitude with a high V/S, so it would be advisable to help it out by manually reducing the rate as you approach 1000' to go.  Also, still no altitude alert chime at 1000' to go.  But this is progress!

Nope.  I don't think there's anything they can do about that.  It's just not a capability that the FSX GPS engine has.  Maybe with the Navigraph update, but unlikely.

Changing the speed while in FLC by just an addition 10kts cause my aircraft to dive almost violently.

Does anyone know what the proper flying procedures for this aircraft are? for example, climb speeds, recommended autopilot modes for climb and descent etc...

I am noticing that none of the autopilot functions work except for heading and nav mode when the autopilot is off. My flight director doesn't do anything and it just stays in pitch mode. Makes it hard to hand fly.

Hmm - just went to Carenado site and an update does not show in my account list.
