Hi

Does anybody have a template of the phenom 300 for Professional flight planner X? I´ve been looking around and airlinerperformance.net/ used to have one but not anymore.

	Thanks!

I am receiving this CAS (E1 FUEL IMP BYP) since batteries are ON, taxiing, taking off, cruising, until parking at destination. There is nothing wrong with the checklist, I receive the Ready for Takeoff before flying. I use the RXP mod for the GTN750, which is working fine.

I know that CAS is telling me I have a problem in fuel E1, and BYP is bypass.

My rig is W10 / P3Dv5.4 last HF.

	Any ideas?

Can't seem to get the audible altitude alerts to work. Have contacted Carenado. They said they would troubleshoot and get back. Carenado hasn't done so for quite some time. I have downloaded their "new" wave files and put them in the appropriate directory but still not audible altitude warnings.

So, all of a sudden these two CAS messsages appear -- "EMB BRK LO PRES" & "HYD LO PRES". Doesn't seem to affect flying the plane that I can tell. So far just a nuisance. As far as I can tell all of the switches are set properly.

Hello All

Reading many of the reviews on the newly released 300 and I too was surprised by the lack of work that was done on the autopilot system. I'm in noway a real world pilot so I'm not sure if the AP in the real 300 sucks the same way?

Nonetheless; I'm wondering if one of the Wizkids on this forum is planning on retrofitting the GTN750 to the 300 VC. Bert and another gentleman made mods for the 100 and the Hawker 850. If anyone is planning on do the same for the 300, please let us know (I'm beggin' here....)

Thanks

The Phenom 300 single and dual GTN mod is ready for testing. This is a rework of the GTN 750 mod posted on the Flight1 File Library system on January 2017, and includes a completely revised EIS gauge pages for Engine, System, and Fuel planning with all live gauges and real operating parameters and alerts. A dual GTN version is also included. Configuration panel.cfg options are provided for both Flight1 and RTX GTN modules.

	GTN MFD ENHANCEMENTS

Two configurations options are provided for the placement of the GTN gauges in the MFD cockpit, a single GTN 750, and dual side by side GTN 750s. In the single GTN, the EIS gauges are displayed vertically on the left side and the GTN fills the rest of the screen. For the dual GTN’s version, the EIS pages are displayed below the GTN gauges.

Each option has its advantages and disadvantages. The single GTN screen is larger and easier on the eyes, while the dual GTN setup allows for two different pages to be displayed simultaneously, albeit on a smaller scale. The horizontal EIS pages on the dual GTN setup have larger fonts and values are less crammed than in the vertical EIS format.

Modified cockpit panel textures are provided for the single and dual configuration options. Each texture basically changes the layout of the bottom softkeys that interact with the EIS pages, as well as modifications for the right bezel buttons, to add direct shortcuts to the Home, DTO, default GPS (Unit1,Unit2,Sim GPS), and stock MFD popup.

Different panel configuration options are provided for each GTN setup both for F1 GTN and RTX GTN. These include the addition of a weather radar gauge or a secondary GTN 650 (only available in the single GTN alternative) in place of the MFD GCU keypad in the lower cockpit panel. Specific textures are provided for these gauges.

In addition to the revised EIS pages, a number of modifications and additional features are included in the GTN MFD gauge for the Phenom 300:

The PFD CDI is now crosslinked to the GTN CDI. Switching the GTN CDI will automatically set the PFD CDI source. Previously, the changes in the PFD CDI could change the GTN CDI source, but not the other way. Now if the GPS is guiding to an ILS approach, once the GTN switches to Localizer CDI mode, the PFD will automatically engage into NAV1 CDI mode. The PFD’s CDI soft key retains its original functionality and can override the GTN if desired.

Automatic Thrust Reserve (ATR) functionality is enabled. The default mode for the ATR is off, and can be enabled via the ENG SET softkey button in the EIS Engine page to engage the Takeoff Reserve power setting or thru the 2D stock MFD. It will provide an extra 4 percent power when on. The ATR is automatically enabled under one engine operation, and it will automatically disengage after 20 minutes operation. As in the real aircraft, temperature must be set before enabling the ATR ON button.

The transponder settings are automatically controlled by the GTN MFD. The PFD’s XPDR mode (STBY, ON, ALT) will be switched to STBY on the ground, to ON below 500’ AGL and to ALT mode over 500’ AGL.

Inflight fuel, time and distance statistics are provided in the corresponding EIS page in the MFD. Some of the computations such as endurance reserves, fuel required, reserve fuel at destination, rely on flight plan data variables which the GTN 750 does not provide, and must be obtained from the FSX / P3D sim’s legacy flight plan. Creating and loading a flight plan with departure and destination waypoints will provide the sufficient data these computations. More accuracy can be achieved by loading a more complete flight plan by using apps like Little NavMap to export flight plans to both the GTN and the sim’s flight planner.

Cruise speed control (CSC) functionality is added to the Autopilot and enabled by the CSC button in the AP panel, the selected speed above the airspeed ribbon in the PFD will turn from cyan to green when enabled. This must be enabled in the aircraft.cfg file autopilot parameters. CSC will disengage under over speed or under speed conditions, and below 500’ AGL.

All gauge parameter and limits have been modeled to the real Phenom 300, and all cockpit switches are live switches, and deviations from normal will be reflected on the CAS alerts, and in the gauges as well.

I get the fltplan from Simbrief always rejectet from loading into the GTN.

Then I changed the name from orign NCRG-NTAA to NCRG_NTAA (acc to the book) and then it was ok.

Now the GTN rejected this format also. Only manual input possible

Hi Guys.

I'm brand new to the 300 and I've had a few issues regarding the installation. I have it working now but on the PROC display in the PFD, only the ARRIVAL option is active (Cyan) the rest are greyed out. I can cycle through the top two but the bottom two are not accessible. I've watched the FSMania videos and they are available in his PFD. I've re-downloaded the file several times, even using the email download but the result is the same. Does anyone have an answer for this? Any help will be much appreciated.

I installed the Phenom 300 to P3Dv5 (P3Dv4 installation with P3Dv5 patch), and to the best of my knowledge everything seems to have installed okay. Only problem I see so far is the Procedure page of the FMS can only show me Approaches (refer to video attachment). Every tutorial and manual I see indicates that I should be able to see the remaining 3 IFR procedures below the Approach function. Am I doing something wrong here? I should be to just press Proc > Departure in order to start my route, right? Check out the video and let me know if I am doing something incorrectly.

I fully appreciate the Carenado aircraft are not state of the art regarding the flight model but they’re reasonable enough if the PC-12 is anything to go by.

I have a Learjet 25 from Extreme Prototypes but the lights have a huge impact on performance. In all other respects it a nice enough aircraft bar the 1970s cockpit.

I’m considering this Phenom as I love the G1000 display and that was the main reason I bought the Vertx DA-62.

But that’s a pretty slow aircraft so what I’m looking for is the VC of the Vertx with the speed of the Lear.

I have Aivlasoft’s EFB from which I can generate flight plans so the lack of recent Nav data in the Carenado isn’t a problem. My Navigraph subscription plus accessing another site for default VORs, NDBs etc means the nav data is fine in P3D.

Anything that I should be aware of?

	Hello everyone,

I found a new passion in flying the Phenom 300. Because I´ve once been on a Phenom I´d like to fly the exact one in the sim as well. So if there is the chance of getting the livery done by somebody. This would make me really happy

As I fly mainly in Europe I´m wondering if the option to change the Units into metric is simply not modeled or if this is a bug?

	Thank you

	Hi all,

I have again problems with the Phenom 300.

1.) I'm unable to select fuel weight in KG at the AUX page. Only selectable are IG and LBS, but the cursor cannot be set to KG

2.) I cannot open the baggage door fwd and/or aft. It does'nt matter I use the control panel or the std key strokes. If, for example the entry door is open

and I select fwd or aft baggage, the entry door closed. If all doors are closed, and I select the fwd/aft door, the entry door opens.

	Any help welcome

	Peter

Just wondering if there's been updates on installing the GTN 750 in this aircraft. With FSX Bert had sent me an install but that was when it came out and since then i updated my rig and scaped fsx to P3Dv4 so i'm behind the 8 ball. I searched a bit but did not see anything to answer my question -Thanks Louis CYYC

Just installed the Navigraph expansion but after powering on the batteries the MFD is struck on the intro screen and showing the AIRAC out of date (Exp Mar 30 2016) although the db file in the CarinadoNavigraph folder is up-to-date after updating nav data with Navigraph FMS Manager. I clicked on ENT as specified but the map only flashes and I'm back to the Intro screen. Any ideas why this is happening?

	Hi all,

I´m like to update my Emb300 with the GTN750.

Which one should I get: Flight1 or RXP??. I have read at Simbrief that the flightplan export works for the F1 GTN.

In this case , I do not have to insert a fltpln manually, which is a big plus for me.

	Any suggestion?

	Thank you

	Hi,

I bought the Navigraph Expansion and I used the FMS Data Manager as well as a manual install of the FMS Data from the Navigraph website, but the G1000 seems to be stuck on the 2016 version in that initial screen it shows. Any insight? This is driving me crazy - I have been able to update all the non-G1000 Carenado FMS systems just fine - the ProLine works fine.
