How does one get the GTN750. Is it an addon?

Well Gang, I think this one is the best in a long time coming out of the Carenado shop. It still has a few glitches and gremlins but they are working on them. Navigraph add on is just around the corner. I got a little bored so I ran the orange one through the MACCO el cheapo paint shop using the $100 weekend special coupon and here is what I got. I played around with the blue/gray one to tone it down a little. It is now N2RM. The last two are the ones that I hope the professional level repainters are looking for. Regards, Ray

So I bought the phenom 300 yesterday and I have been watching a youtube video with a guy going from PANC. I followed what he did but when I got to the point of pressing proc to insert a departure I was unable to do so. It only allows me to select an approach. I have been trying for ages to fix this but I can't. Can anyone help me?

Will there be in development or has any developer proposed and update for the garmin G1000 to add this add-on which is called (SVT) Synthetic Vision Technology . It's a new situational awareness system which gives the pilot a 3D view on the PFD somewhat like the flir system on a F-18 DDI. To explain further here is the product in detail.

I recently installed the Phenom 300 and the Navigraph Database repeats loading each time the aircraft is selected. It says it will only load once ???? Is there a way to maintain the database so I don't have to wait each time? Also any interruption (such as loading a FSX plan) cancels the database load. It seems my G1000 MFD has an issue with navigraph navdata - display doesn't show airport identifiers/navaids and I can't enter any waypoints in FPL / DIRECT TO page (see screenshot attached), also doesn't identify current airport upon startup. I tried using original navdata cycle provided and the latest one (I observed navdata index building without problems), also completely reinstalled Phenom 300. I also got Phenom 100, which works fine when it comes to G1000 functionality. Specs: FSX, win 8.1, Phenom 300 version 1.3 + navigraph extension pack. I am considering buying the Phenom300 and have a few questions. 1. Using the base aircraft with Navigraph add-on: In reading the threads here, there is mention of problems with the Navigraph add-on. However, all are related to versions 1.1 and 1.2. I didn't notice any comments about version 1.3. Does 1.3 fix most issues? Does the Phenom G1000 import FSX flight plans or must one program the flight plan manually? 2. Using the GTN750: If I elect to go the GTN750 route, do I get Bert's mods in the AVSIM library or are they only availble directly from Bert? If using the GTN750 does the Navigraph add-on add any useful functionality?

After reading about the Phenom 300 I really got excited and wanted it. Until I continued reading and found out to get the Phenom right, it costs $100. I don't mind spending that much, but is it really worth $100 at that point? I really, really want this plane, but I am so use to PMDG and the Majestic Dash 8 Pro, I can only hope it meets those standards. What I was hoping wasn't true is that after $100 it's still not right.

I've already asked this question about the Hawker 850XP which was kindly answered. How do you enable the ILS approach using the Flilght1 GTN 750 on the Phenom 300? What are the steps necessary to see the localizer and glideslope on the PFD? Thanks.... BTW, I'm sorry for being so stupid on this, but I just can't seem to figure the logic out. This is after many circuits around the pattern attempting to get it figured out.

How do I set up the take off trim in my CARENADO EMB505 PHENOM 300 HD ?

I have tried every which way to change altitudes on the Flight Plan waypoints entering the correct altitude but reverts back with the original altitude so effectively the VNAV becomes pretty much useless. As an example, flying KSBA - KSMX and entering the SID Flout5, it sets up the waypoints as 6000 altitude on all of them. After entering directly MADOO, KOAKS, CAMCO and PATER and trying to set them as 6000, 4000, 3000 and 1720 respectively, nothing changes. I followed the example in the FSMania Tutorials which are illustrated really well. He does them successfully but no luck for me. I might add I have the Navigraph that I purchased with the aircraft. Hello Everybody! I bought this plane few days ago. And the Navigraph addon for Prepar3d I have serveral question that I don't find on the forum. I read the documents in the EMB505_Phenom300 folder. Is there any tutorial who explain a flight for departure to arrival (like some other plane editors) About the Flight Plan : I see we can set Departure, Arrival and Approach but how about Enroute? I don't see any place for the enroute phase! If I have to add some point so do I have to add them in the departure section? The cruise route is in departure? Can I save the FP? of load it? Dear simfriends I bought v. 1.3 a while ago and have flown with it a few trips. My experience with Carenado is limited, so I decided to buy this plane partly based on visual impression. This morning I installed the Navigraph addon, Result: Could not import flightplans from FSX anymore, Anyone else have had similar problem? The Navigraph addon has installer v.1.2.

I got it and I'm having a hard time trying to get the airway to work right it shows the waypoints and my departure airport as the arrival airport

Is it possible to get the check lists to appear for the 300 with the GTN750 instlled.... well i just answered my own question...if you click on the name PRODIGY right above the GTN750 it will come up :smile:

Hello I have both the GTN 750 and the Navigraph Extension 1.2 installed in the Carenado 300.. I see from a different post that the Navigraph Extension is not needed or wanted. My questions would be: Should I remove the Navigraph Extension 1.2 or just leave it as is? Should I install the new Navigraph Extension 1.3? If yes to installing the new Extension, should the old one be removed first or install the new over the old one? Thanks for any support Jack

Hi Sorry if this is a bit off topic. I am thinking of purchasing a biz jet for P3D V3. I am looking at 2 choices. The Carenado EMB 505 300 HD or the Flysimware Learjet 35A. I can't afford both. Any opinions or advice please. Thanks Cheers simdown42

Is there a way to view the course track and the flightplan at the same time on the MFD. They do in the real world. The flightplan page blocks the course track. Also cannot stop the cursor from flashing in the flightplan. I have tried the cursor option with the small button with no success. It will turn the cursor on but not off. I can view the flightplan on the PFD and the course track on the full map in the MFD but the cursor will not stop flashing in the PFD. Anyone have the same problem.

How you guys doing using the speed select ? I'm trying to go by the book and climb out using 225 knots to 29,000 ft. then Mach .60 from there to 43000 where i like to go to , but it doesn't seem to hold for me so i don't know if i'm doing some thing wrong. She does go up like a jack rabbit , the real world test says it will go to 43,000 ft in 20 min. and it sure does that well.Ray sent me an awesome set of charts which are so complete a little more and it would tell how to change a flat tire . I'm having trouble with charts for distance load load and time - yesterday i ran out of fuel on desend and was way over my arrival time according to the charts so i'm fiddling…

When the Phenom 300 launched for P3D I heard that there was many problems/bugs with the autopilot and other systems of the plane. It has been sometime since it was released and was wondering if these problems have been solved? Also do you think the plane is worth it? Thanks

Hello! I have the Phenom 300 with Expansion Pack and i use it in Prepar3D v3. In the G1000 System Setup Page/Fuel units (Manual Page 18-19) i can't switch from Gallons or Pounds to Kilograms. I can switch only between Gallons and Pounds, but not to Kilograms. Make i mistake or it's a bug? Best regards Thomas

I fly this bird like an 'ol lady . When i use to sit up front in our company jet for Echo bay from Edmonton to Yellowknife and Lupin they would leave cruise in the 727 cut the throttles right back and down to 2,500 feet per min and it would speed to about 250 knots on the way down and about 10 mi out they would start hanging every thing out . So this one in the GTN 750 i changed the profile in the Utilities -VCALC section to 2,500 ft per min. but what speed do i keep at to desend? Lots to learn on this thing the Speed select i still don't have a clue .
