EMB505 Phenom 300 HD Series for FSX | P3D

Hi. The pilot book about the Carenado Phenom 300 says "The system tunes the optional ADF receiver and DME transceiver. The ADF is tuned by entering the frequency in the ADF standby frequency field of the ADF/DME Tuning Window. (The softkey may be labeled ADF/DME or DME, depending on installed equipment.)" That is on page 152 of "Embraer Prodigy Flight Deck 300 Pilot's Guide" I do not have an ADF/DMO Tuning Window, just a plain vanilla DME Tuning Window! Is the ADF receiver Sold Separatly. . Or is it hidden in some dark area of an obscure Setting abyss?. Thanks for lighting up my candle. Bat

Hi guys, How to notice if the extension is properly installed... I see no difference in the MFD which shows a Database expiring on 30-MAR-2016 despite my latest update to AIRAC 1713 I have a Navigraph yearly subscription. Hello, Newly bought the carenado phenom 300 for P3D v4 and after testing the MFD and specially the weather radar, i realize that i couldn't change any parameter tilt, bearing, sector or gain. Only the range can be set with the range knob. On the mfd thre is no softkey available to manage those parameter like it is in the real G1000 prodigy. Can anyone help me on that "bug" !! thanks a lot.

Cold and dark at night in this bird putting the dome light on it basically sheds no light ,so i have to set it to day time to find my way around the cabin to get things going with start up . I looked around different sites but the explanations are not clear enough and i don't want to really make a mess in the conf file . Anybody know how to set the intensity fo the dome light so i can see inside the cockpit at night ? Louis

I'm not sure if everyone has noticed this but the transponder modes are missing in the Phenom 300. They are all there in the Phenom 100 and I was wondering if its possible to use the PFD gauge from the Phenom 100 which has the correct transponder modes?

Hello! I've been flight simming for some time now but I still consider myself as a beginner. I mainly do GA flying and are now looking at getting my first jet for p3d v4 and Phenom 300 is one of them (the other is the Premier, not sure which one yet). Anyways, will the Phenom 300 suit a somewhat beginner? I am also looking into at getting the GTN 750 because of its capabilities and from what I've understood it is compatible with the aircraft? I have installed the Phenom 300 and Nav pack, but when I get in the cockpit, none of my Saitek controls work i.e. Throttle, flaps. They do for all my other aircraft. Does anybody know please why this is? I'm using P3Dv3, Win7 Thanks John

Hi, I've been searching through the forum and more widely in Internet unsuccessfully... I just got the Carenado Phenomm 300 and purchased meanwhile the Navigraph extension. While launching my session after having chosen my aircraft, I have this message Did anyone get the same? Obviously the extension doesnt recognise my AIRAC 1713 ! Thanks in advance

On any given leg, including while on the ground, the purple GPS needle is always pointed 20-30 degrees left or right of the actual course as shown on the GPS? One cannot adjust the GPS needle so I can't fix it & don't know why this is happening.

Hi; I'm thinking about the Reality XP unit since its price is cheaper. My questions; does it install cleanly, or do the knobs from the prodigy still exist on the panel? Quick question, I have the Phenom 300 and the Navigraph addon as well as SVS, and I just updated my AIRIC to 1713 via the Navigraph FMS data manager, but the Prodigy system still says it is out of Date when it powers up. Is that normal? Is the splash screen not updated when you update the data? Thanks for any help.

Hi all I just bought the extension for navigraph on the Embraer Phenom 300 aircraft. I have an account with navigraph so I downloaded all the latest 1713 navigraph data. Installed it reload P3D v3 select Phenom 300 aircraft and I still have the old navigraph database??? Where can I see in Carenado Aircraft which navigraph database I have in my system? My problem is Carenado EMB505 Phenom 300 HD For FSX version 2.1 crashing to desktop. Removed and reinstalled several times. Ran as administrator. AV and firewall turned off. AV is VIPRE. Computer: Windows 10 Pro 64bit, Intel i7 7700K, 32GB RAM, MSI GTX 980 Ti Lightning video card. Gigabyte Z270X-UD5 motherboard. Computer screen is 1080p resolution. I have purchased the Navigraph EMB505 Phenom 300 Extension Pack, however, I am afraid to install it until this issue is resolved. This is frustrating, it is the only Carenado product I have purchased that does not work, and I have several of their add-on aircraft. Thank you in advance for help.

Hi, For use on a separate screen i open a PFD window from the views/instruments menu. Once undocked i can drag it onto my smaller screen. The problem is that when i drag the sides if the window out to fit my screen (1024x 768) the background blue/brown colours go haywire. (I actually need it wider than that because i dont want to see the knobs at the side) I can expand it to a certain point, which is almost big enough for what i need but beyond that the problem arises. Is there any way around this? I assume it is to do with texture resolution limits of the gauge. You can see what i mean by expanding the pfd window on the main screen too, so its no…

Let me start by saying that I'm a pretty satisfied yearlong Carenado customer. I've always enjoyed their products a lot and hope to do so for many years to come. The Phenom 300 seems to be challenging me more than other products have in the past. For some reason, I keep having intermittent CTDs when flying this plane. Or better put, when trying to fly this plane. Hello, i just purchased the Navigraph expansion for my Phenom 300, and the trip stats/fuel stats page is showing some VERY wonky data. The flight plan page with the ETA times show the same times as the trip stats page, usually with an ETA around 12:00am or so.. the 471 mile flight I was doing showed time in route anywhere from 7 hours to 30 hours.. and fuel stats show negative gallons will remain after arrival. None of this makes sense.. and it all showed pretty accurate info before I installed the Navigraph extension. The only reason I purchased the extension is because, after I updated to P3D v4.1, all the Airports disappeared off the map once…

Hi, I am trying to assign an external switch to operate the seat belts on/off. I have used LINDA to trace what is happening. I found only 1 local variable "ASD_SWITCH_SIGNS_OUTLET_EMB100" I assigned this to my external switch but this only seems to affect the visual movement of the switch in the VC. I am not getting the associated ding sound. Does anyone know which Lvar operates the "ding" sound ? Cheers Stinger
