Hi, Does anyone know where to find the CG of the loaded aircraft?This would be handy to set the T.O. trim setting of the Phenom.

Hi Folks. I've searched for other posts regarding this but only see info relating to NavData. My question is this...Is it possible to change the data entries in the AUX pages? In page 4 of 5 in the Airspace Alerts box the entries are all set to OFF. Is it possible to select them to ON ? Regards...Ken.

Hi. I have noticed that when setting up a flight plan the cruise altitude defaults to FL280. The Phenom 300 will of course fly considerably higher except in the shortest of hops. FL280 seems to correspond to the ESA (enroute safe altitude), as in the bottom box of the active flight plan it displays "FPL ENR SAFE ALT 28000 FT". What is the significance of the ESA, and why does the flight plan default to this? Is there any way of changing this? I am finding that I am having to change the altitude for many waypoints in the flight plan. Thanks. Adrian

Hi again So here is another issue that I've hit on. Loading arrivals or approaches into the flight plan screws it up big time. Yesterday I had loaded my departure, then all the waypoints en route, and when I tried to load the arrival all of its waypoints were thrown randomly in between the preceding waypoints, meaning that the flight route zig-zagged backwards and forwards like crazy. Today I tried something different. I loaded my departure, then my arrival. All good. I loaded all of the waypoints in between. All good. Hi. I am a newbie to this aircraft and am gradually learning how to handle the beautiful Phenom. I have a few questions about the CON/CLB thrust settings. First of all, what is CON? According to the official Phenom G1000 manual this stands for "continuous". But what does this mean, and when is it used? Clearly it must be similar to the climb setting, as it is in the same power detent range. When I advance the power levers the indicator on the MFD shows first CRZ, then CON, then TO. It doesn't show CLB. Is that correct? I have noticed that if I click on the SYSTEM soft key on the MFD, then the ENG SET soft key, I then have options for CON and CLB. C…

I'm wondering how to use speed control in the Phenomenal Phenom, that is besides manual control of the throttle during cruise.

Hi all, I’ve purchased the Phenom 300 and is flying great so far. What I have noticed is that when the AP is on, the AP indicator does not show on the PFD in virtual cockpit mode but when I look at the PFD in 2D panel mode, it shows as active. Anyone have this issue? kind regards, Fred

Hello! I am new to carenado FA50. I am impressed from carenado as usual. The fps esp. during landing falls back to 3 or 4! That is far more than I used to, in comparance To other add ons. Has anyone a hint that helps? Thanks Thorsten

Hi. I am a newbie to the Phenom and trying to learn how to fly this aircraft. I have discovered that it is not possible to load a saved flight plan if you have the Navigraph pack, which I do have as I like to use the current AIRAC and create my flight plans through SimBrief. I am familiar with the G1000 from other aircraft, so I am sure I am not missing something. From what I understand it is possible to load a saved flight plan only if you don't have the Navigraph pack. It just seems crazy that Carenado would issue an addon package which increases the realism but at the same time removes some of the functionality. OK whats the trick? I can turn on autopilot set a heading and the plane adjusts to my heading. I set an altitude and it stays or goes where I select. But as soon as I set my speed it does not care, it will not adjust the throttle at all? Sometimes it will actually try to hit the speed I select by putting the plane in a dive and disregard the altitude hold. I have nearly the same autopilot in the TBM and it works perfectly so it seems like a bug, anyone get the Phenom to work correctly?

I just reinstalled the Phenom 300 after a long break from it. It is flying fine, especially with the F1GTN. In searching around I'm led to believe there is a Radar Altimeter. However, I have not been able to find it. First ? Is there a Radar Altimeter? If there is, where is it? If there isn't, is there away to install one? Thanks, Mike Nicholson

Hello together, i`m using the Aivlasoft EFB(https://www.aivlasoft.com/) for all my flights. A perfect and great tool for planning and watching the flight.Trial-version for 30 days. When i started flying with the Phenom 300 i discovered, that, when i load a flightplan in Aivlasoft, it is automatically set in the G1000. Each SID and StAR, all changes in the Aivalsoft Flightplan(direct to, remove or add a Fix e.g.) are then set in the G1000 Flightplan directly. I must not type in anything in the G1000, all is done with Aivlasoft. It didn`t work with the Navigraph Extension Pack for Phenom, only with the default G1000! Regards Herbert Kleinsorge

I've tested the 2.01 version and wondering if the latest version is it worth to buy for use in P3dV4.5 The tests and reviews stopped all in 2016 with the 2.0 version and want to be sure that the transponder issue and auto-pilot speed problems are fixed and is it also worthwhile to invest in the Syntetic Vision add-on. Hello all, long time reader, first time poster. I just bought the Carenado Phenom 300 since it was on sale and have two issues I wonder if anyone else has had. 1. Autopilot will not capture target altitude. Just blows right by it up or down. 2. Periodically the engines just shut off. No buttons being pressed, just shut down. I can restart them easy enough but it is obviously not right. Thanks in advance for any help.

This is a ridiculous question. Just purchased this aircraft and when starting the GPU is connected to the airplane and I cannot figure out how to disconnect it prior to taxi. Tried everything I can think of, but I never use a power unit starting any airplane. Usually I start with engines running which is the way I set this up but the GPU was connected and can't figure out how to disconnect it. Can someone please let me know how to do this. Thanks. It is just a normal checklist so no emergency checklists are included because i have seen the real Phenom Emergency checklists and they are hard to intergrate in the GTN750 (the options that they give in the orginal Garmin software). Hi guys, I fly Phenom 300 with Navigraph extension. I do fill flight plan starting by selecting the departure and the SID. Then the arrival including a STAR before entering all WP of the route. So far everything is OK. Until the controller assigns me a different STAR. I tried to delete the existing arrival procedures but when I add a new arrival where my cursor is located on the airfield of arrival, all points are merged within the route and my route looks like a sparkling star... i could not find anywhere on the web any tutorial to change the STAR inflight (could also be needed on the ground while preparing the flight....) I am keen to be explained …

Hello, I am trying to do a flight in the phenom 300 for the first time and one thing I am having trouble with is getting the map to display on the middle display. The map was there when I loaded the plane but after I entered a flight plan and loaded the procedures I can't to get back to the map so I can see my current position. I tried to back out of the flight plan and procedure pages but I can't figure it out. I should mention I can see a little bit of the map but it is centered on a specific waypoint and not my current position Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
