EMB505 Phenom 300 HD Series for FSX | P3D

Is there a way to get a V2 phenom to start in V4? Ready to taxi - NO JOY even if I select cold and dark and try to do it myself I can't get it to start. UGH Thanks Ron

Hello, Just wondering if I'm missing something along the way, but is it possible to somehow load a FSX-stored flightplan into the Phenom 300's G1000 unit? Over time, I've managed to build a small collection of flightplans, and would like to 'load' them into the G1000,, i.e. not having to manually enter them into the G1000, with or without the Navigraph expansion pack. Dear those whom may help... I have a problem in that the synthetic vision sytem in my Phenom 300 does not work. I purchased it yesterday and included the navigraph, and SVS expansions, but it seems that it does not work. I do get the pop up in windows telling me that the synth vision system is running. I'm using P3d V4.3. Best, James

Hi guys, The range knob on the GCU and G1000 seems to suggest that you can also use it to pan the MFD map. However I can only seem to use it to zoom in and out. Is the pan feature not modelled or am I doing something wrong? cheers Stinger

Hi guys, Until now I have been using the FSX flight planner and FSX atc. I am interested in learning more about the GCU477 and to make full use i need to buy the Navigraph pack. My question....do any users of the Navigraph pack use FSX atc? If so how well does it cope with a full flightplan including sids and stars? Thanks Stinger

Hey, everyone. I am having an issue with my Phenom where my overspeed bar starts to appear on my speed tape at 180 Knots, but doesn't go away when I clean up the aircraft (gear and flaps) on takeoff and begin my climb to altitude. I have an attached picture. For example, at FL410 in a light aircraft (empty payload, 50% fuel), I am getting only ~.55 Mach at FL410 at 180 Indicated https://imgur.com/a/heFZbEm

For reference, I'm on P3D v4.3, with 4.4 downloading just in case 4.4 fixes something. Navigraph FMS Data Manager is at 1.7.3.1201, which I think is the latest and my AIRAC is at 1901. I am a P3dV4, phenom 300 user ,using the latest navigraph cycle 1901 in win 10- 64 bit multi monitor setup Upon takeoff -> I Set aircraft in "heading Mode" and fly to the firSt fix in the SID Set Nav Mode. fly to 2nd WP/fix. Running Win10 (64) - FSX Acceleration Having trouble entering a flight plan in the G1000. I enter starting airport and continue with waypoints. When I get to the point where the flight plan need to scroll up so that I may enter another waypoint at the bottom, the starting airport disappears. I continue entering waypoints 'til the end then go back to the top and add the starting airport. At this point I am unable to save the flight plan. If I press the menu button, nothing happens. How do you save the flight plan? I note there is a choice to load an airway. However, when I press the button, I'm asked for a country code. What is the code for the United States?

Has anyone tried to fit one of those into Phenom?

I could use some advice or help. Just installed the EMB505 and the Navigraph package. Used the Navigraph FMC Manager to install the latest update. When opening EMB505 it showed the database being updated. But I'm not sure the latest database is being used as it shows a date of 30 March 2016. I see that the Navigraph files are in a separate folder, CarenadoNavigraph, within the P3Dv4.. The only files in the Carenado folder are the PDF documents. Is everything set up okay - why does the dataset show 30 March 2015 on the panel? Is there anything I need to do to tie things together? I've seen no documentation on this including within the Navigraph G1000 manual. …

Hello fellow Phenom 300 simmers, Can someone please enlighten me on the relevance/importance of setting the destination Landing Field Elevation( LFE), the TDZE , in the MFD when going through the checklist. Does setting LFE make a difference if I am always connecting to ActiveSky (OR following ATC instructions) to get weather/ setting altimeter info along the route and I use select TMR /REF in the PFD and set minimum Radar Altimeter(RA) set to 200 to alert me when I am 200 ft of the terrain on approach.? Not hoping for much from Carenado, especially at that price point. The 2014 avionics upgrade (G3000/Prodigy Touch) was pretty significant for the Phenom, and it'd be cool if we could get it into the sim. Any 3rd party options to explore?

Hi all, Not sure if anyone can help me here but here goes... I have built a custom autopilot hardware module and need to assign the correct fsx control to the altitude set rotary encoder knob. Does the Phenom 300 use a standard fsx control for this? If so which one? Also the ALT Hold button captures the current altitude, which fsx control does this? I am using FSX with fsuipc 4 and the Linda interface. Help would be greatly appreciated. Stinger

Hi Folks. I've taken a notion to build a small home cockpit based on the 300. Pretty much all of the switches and levers are mappable onto a board. However, the T/O Config button has me beat. A friend and I have spent a couple of evenings trying to find the L:var for it in both the LINDA and FSUIPC programmes, to no avail. Has anyone else tried this or does anyone happen to know which variables operate the button and callouts? Regards...Ken

Hi Guys. I have been flying this aircraft for a short while now and am keen to expand my knowledge of it. I know what the TOGA button does in a real aircraft and I understand the concept of FADEC systems, but... What should I be seeing when I press the TOGA on the ground after inputing the outside air temp. and other factors. I am wondering if there should be a numeric display or the engine gauges should show a thrust setting marker. I have been watching the Jesse Flies series of videos and he mentions Take Off power set. I am trying to fly an ILS on the Phenom 300 (latest version, with Nav extension and latest Navigraph) on FSX Gold Edition. Even though I can load and activate an approach, the FMS never sequences to capture the LOC or GS. Normally if you are receiving vectors, the PFD shows HDG in green with LOC in white and GS in white. But as the LOC is captured the LOC and GS should turn green. They never do so the FD never commands lateral or vertical navigation. What am I doing wrong? Also the GCU has Softkey Select at the bottom, with SEL in the middle and arrows on either side. This cannot be clicked at all. Is this a known bug or again, am I doing something wrong? J…
