EMB505 Phenom 300 HD Series for FSX | P3D

Hi, I have installed the Navigraph pack but i am having trouble with selecting either arrivals or approach. What am i doing wrong. Heres what i am doing. I press FPL and enter a start and finish airport. I press PROC and the cursor scrolls to departures. I choose a departure and load it into the flightplan . I go back to the FPL page and scroll to my destination airport, then press PROC. The cursor scrolls directly to Departures again and if i try to scroll up to arrivals or approach the cursor wont stay there and instead drops back down to Departures?? This is in FSX acceleration pack. Thanks for any help. Stinger

Hey Guys. Is anyone familiar with the old style FSX XML code? I've been looking to change/correct a couple of lines of text in the G1000 Cockpit Safety Checklist digital display in the MFD. I've opened up the various CAB files and changed the actual text to read what I want but the MFD is still displaying the original checklist. Either I've not saved the files as I thought or the xml is 'reading' the text from another file somewhere. The text is easy to change but I am a novice regarding the xml code. There does not seem to be a lot of code as such for each of the checklists. The text is where the check says to switch off the batteries. The displays just die whe…

Hi all, I is there any way to use my own external keyboard when typing in letters into a flightplan rather than using the keypad on the GCU477? The reason I ask is that i'm trying to build a physical GCU477 controller but if I do a FSUIPC/LINDA trace when pressing the letters on the on-screen keypad the tracer doesn't show anything happening. If I use the PFD "Direct To" button it seems I can use my own external keyboard to enter a destination. However, I have tried the same method when using the MFD FPL entry but the external keyboard does nothing? Any help greatly appreciated Stinger

SO I read on AVSIM today that the SVS is now available for all Carenado planes that have the G1000. So I re-downloaded the The Phenom 300 and installed it. Right away it removed Berts GTN750 Mod and the PFD does show the SVS option but it does not show up on the PFD. SHould I completely remove the phenom 300 and install from scratch. Then try the SVS? DO I have to buy the SVS first for 29.95? Does the GTN 750 mod from bert cause an issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been plugging away on this newest livery. It has been a true nightmare, but, I am just about ready to make a few limited editions for beta testing. If interested send me a PM. I'm thinking about 10 copies should be enough to find all the gremlins and loose ends. Everything will not be perfect in the end but it will be a good effort. Hi all, Has anyone managed to make a mouse macro with the Phenom 300 using FSUIPC? I have a registered copy of FSUIPC but when I try to make a mouse macro FSUIPC doesn't seem to recognise that I am pressing a button in the VC (any button that I have tried) and doesn't create a macro. Am I doing something wrong or don't they work using this aircraft? cheers Stinger

Greetings Fellow 300 Phenomers I am struggling with why I have no GS indicator( usually magenta) showing up on LPV or Lnav/Vnav approaches . This is not a problem on ILS approaches the GS shows up just fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled aircraft , the Navigraph extension pack and SVS several times . i am on airac 1909. There are no issues when I fly with Bert's GTN 750 mod in the phenom 300. The GS shows up just fine .😊 Any one have this problem on the native phenom 300? Or solution? Best regards Hari

When I Activate any button on the AFCS Control Unit (Autopilot) in the Phenom 300 it does not light-up to indicate that it was activated. I have some of the buttons mapped to my Joystick and if I activate anything I cannot tell if actually worked unless I hover my mouse over the button to see if it is on or off. Which kinda makes the act of mapping the buttons useless. I am not saying that they won't light-up at all; if I hit the the knob just above the AFCS Control Unit it will light-up the entire Unit. Hi The fuelstats in the mfd VC and 2D panel are wrong if you have noticed. Example: Load of 1000kg fuel shows you on the fuel page 1000lb. Anyway... I have solved the problem by rewritten the necessary files. Everything is now showing in lb and corrected weights. If you are have the same problems and if you are interrested write me a pm. Do I have a bad installation or is this a bug with the P3Dv4 installation of the Phenom? In v3 when you advance the throttles and are not configured for takeoff, you get an audible warning sound. Also, when you press the Takeoff Config button you get either a "Takeoff Okay" or "No Takeoff" warning. In v4, those sounds are missing. Just me or is it a v4 Carenado bug?

i have buying a phenom 100 carenado v.2, but the passenger light doesn't work, and even the cabin light so it is impossibile to flying at night, and now?? :/

Since Carenado didn't code in either the TOD (top of Decent) or BOD (bottom of Decent), what do you guys use to determine these? Aviasoft EFB has a TOD function but it's mostly set for the approach FAF altitude. Most STAR's have a fixed altitudes or step down altitudes on them. I've been using the old method - subtract the required Altitude from the current multiply by 3 for the approx. TOD miles from the BOD. Other than using FStramp (which is now a subscription service, I'd rather not pay.) to show the BOD on it's moving map Is there any other moving map that displays them? thanks Ron

It's either the Phenom 300 itself, or the GTN750 in it, but I think its the Phenom itself. I find the heinously loud "500 Ft!", "400 Ft!" not only is s horrid distraction on approach (I know, warnings/alerts should get one's attention) but I really do not like the particular person's voice and as I sa te volume is too loud. Where can I get rid of it or at least reduce its volume? Thanks in advance

As promised hereby the updated tutorial for the Phenom 300. The past few months I’ve done some more research on the aircraft and this is the outcome of it. Some procedures are adapted and got them focused on VFR and IFR. I’ve added a changelog so you can easily find the changes in the document. Hi guys, I am asking this question for a friend who uses the Phenom 300 in P3d. He says that when landing he only hears the 500ft callout and not 400, 300 etc. Is this a known problem in the P3d version ? Thanks Stinger

Hi all I am new to the Phenom 300 and have a question relating to the AFCS. Do the buttons on it have lights adjacent to them to indicate at a glance which mode is activated? Having looked at some videos of flying the aircraft in real life on YouTube, my guess is the answer is no. If that is the case, is the only way to check what mode you are in to look at the code(s) listed at the top of the PFD? And if so, where can I get a full list of the possible codes, seeing as the Carenado documentation is so woefully silent on how to actually fly this thing? Been having this annoying issue and I can't get past the departure section on the damn G1000. It doesn't happen as you load it, but the second or third time it starts doing this. So much money wasted for nothing I still can't fly it. I have tried re installing the whole thing. It has the navigraph extension installed as well and current subscriptions to both FS aerodata and Navigraph.

I give, can't find it and FSCaptain is dinging me for improper handling of lights!

Hi, I am new in this Forum. The reason for this post is, that I have Problems to create a flightplan with the G1000. Especially to use Airways. When I fill in the first Airway with entry and exit everything works properly. After the exit of the first Airway, I have to do a direct to a to waypoint. After that a new Airway starts. If I open up the Airway Menue to typ in the new Airway, the Data of the first Airway will show up. I can't fill in any new Data of this Airway. What goes wrong? Is there anybody with the same Problem? With best regards Frank

Trying to see how this plane will run on my 6 y/o SB-E box w/ original GTX Titan. Both the NGX and 777 run well on my PC as long as I'm mindful to adjust settings depending on where we will be flying, so if you can comment about how the Phenom 300 runs compared to something like the PMDG planes.
