EMB505 Phenom 300 HD Series for FSX | P3D

I have the 100. I'm debating on getting the 300. But I don't get great frames with the 100. Does the 300 perform better?

Hello, Have any of you fixed the pressurization system on the Phenom 300? it is always making the cabin at 8000 ft which is incorrect since the aircraft performance specification clearly states that it should be around 6300ft. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know. Regards, Simbol

Ok, need some input here.. I am not able to power up the engines... I watch the videos and follow the checklist and no joy... on CAS I get a DC Bus 1 OFF and no futher info... I even try CRTL + E, and no dice... any info? Thanks

Hi Folks. Only had this a/c a few days and still learning the tricks for it. I have updated the Nav. Database to 1016 via Navigraph. Now, FSX stalls at the start/splash screen. I thought that maybe the database was updating in the background but the screen just sat there, over the time it took me to eat my lunch. I am going to uninstall 1016 and go back to the Extension pack update, However, I would be grateful for any thoughts as to what is going on. Cheers...Kenny

After I updated to P3D 3.4 the GTN 750 mod is no longer working. It does not show up in VC mode. So I decided to fly with the default G1000 and the autopilot doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Hi Folks, I have recently purchased the Phenom 300 V1.3 with the Navigraph extension pack. How does one make changes to the Phenom 300 configuration file (G1000_configEMBP200.spb) which is contained within CAB files EMB505_G1000(N)? Specifically, I wish to change default settings for Map Orientation and Topography to save having to change them once the aircraft loads up. The first problem is what type of editor do I use with a .spb file? and secondly, how does one put the config file back into the CAB once the changes are done? Cheers and thanks Ian Miller

On short flights I often use the "direct to" function of the autopilot. In the Phenom one may activate this function either on the the PFD or the ND. I have no problem setting a desired waypoint using the PFD and to "activate" it. But on the ND after selecting the waypoint, I can't activate it. After I selected the waypoint, I click on the "Enter" button, but the "activate" message doesn't appear, and the window for selecting a waypoint simply closes without setting the route to the next waypoint. Because I'm often using an Oculus Rift, I don't like fiddling around with the outer and inner knobs of the PFD and ND to select a waypoint, and would rather like to use the key…

I just got.a 4K TV, but when inside the virtual cockpit, it isn't as sharp as I expected it to be when comparing with other planes like PMDG 737/777, Aerosoft Airbus, Realair Lancair Legacy, etc. I really like Carenado's Phenom 100/300, but the texture and graphics quality in the VC is a letdown. :(

Hi, I currently have a Saitek x52pro, and P3D v3.2. My problem: My rudder and pitch axis work flawlessly. However when I try to roll, for the first 80% of joystick movement the yoke moves a minuscule amount, and for the remaining 20%, the yoke leaps to full left and right. I have this problem on ALL carenado and Alabeo products and I have found no solution yet, it is quite frustrating. I think the problem only started when I got my X52, this does not make sense as all other aircraft work fine with it (PMDG, A2A, aerosoft.) I have tried re calibrating it is P3D, but this does nothing. I have null zones and sensitivity set to min, and max, respectively…

Anyone know how place a wind direction arrow and wind strength on the map page of the GTN 750 in the Carenado Phenom 300? I have seen it in some of the pictures posted on this forum but I cannot find any info as to how to enable it. Thanks for any help. Update: I found out how to enable ... if others need to know....select the Menu button at the bottom of the Map page and then select Change User Fields in the Map User Fields section.

Hi can someone just run through this please. There is a SPD option on the AP but its doesn't seem to work. As for FLC i still do not fully understand, iam i right in thinking that you select say you in the are at 10000ft 250knts, and you want to climb to FL280, You select FL280 on the auto pilot and select FLC and it will climb at 250knots? How do you change / increase the speed in FLC mode? Can some please right the order in which to operate the modes. Thank You.,

I just bought the jet last night and have been looking forward to flying it. The problem is my frame rate is from 0.9fps-3.0fps. I have the copilot screen off, so that's my 3 fps. My config file is barely touched. Only with a few adjustments to certain areas that are in this link (link removed by admin). I have Orbx Global and vector, also I have Rex texture Direct and Soft Cloud. Plus some freeware scenery. For my rig I have a 4790k processor. EVGA 970 graphics card. 16GB of ram. I feel like I should try and get my money back so the wife wont be too mad that i bought a plane that I cant fly. So can anyone help me with this, or have a suggestion as to what I should do? T…

It has been awhile since I have flown this aircraft and I now have come up against an issue I had before and figured it out. Now I am having this issue and can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong. When I try to set the target altitude it will not let me. It changes for a half second then goes back to 0. Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't seem you can set VFR altitudes (10,500) on the altitude auto-pilot control, or else I've missed something. Thanks in advance

When I'm on approach and try to adjust the altitude knob on the autopilot it doesn't follow the normal 100/1000 foot increments as it does when I'm flying at higher altitudes. For example, I might set my altitude at 5000 and then start my descent. Once I'm there, when I try to further adjust the altitude downward using the 100 foot increments setting to, say, 3500, it will instead jump all the way down to zero using the altitude knob. When I try to slowly adjust it back up, it can then jump all the way up to 10000, which should not be possible as there is no 10000 increment setting . Will the Carenado Embraer Phenom 300 G1000 accept flight plans from 3rd party planners (Flight Sim Commander) as does, for example, the Flight 1 Citation Mustang or must flight plans be entered manually? Thanks for information.

Well, basically after messing around for about a week and spending countless hours I can tell you for me the 300 Expansion does nothing but cause issues. For example, with just the main aircraft installed I never have any CTD issues. With the Expansion installed I have crashes when ever I reload FSX after a flight in the 300. Every time guaranteed. It also crashes FSX sometimes right after a flight in the 300, as I'm trying to close FSX. There are also other minor issues that just make this already beautiful yet finicky airplane a pain in the &@($* when the Expansion is installed. So for me I DONT use the expansion and all is well, but I would reall…

HI I like the small PFD displayed at the top right, nice to have this when looking out the windshield. However when i set the ALT pressure in the PFD, the small one does not change. is it supposed to, or is it mainly for use above 18000? Thanks!!

If you fly a RNAV approach to come in under the Glide Slope the message mindlessly repeats 'Glide Slope' until 2 or 3 dots above the GS. Is there any way to delete that wav file? Thanks! Bob

Win 10, P3D 3.3, Carenado Phenom 300, expansion pack My mouse/keyboard and fully powered and have no issues with any other software. I am having trouble with my FMS knob. Both the 3d cockpit version on the MFD and on the lower console FMS and the popup MFD version. I move the mouse over the knob and it only wants to turn on the left side of the knob. The right side had no effect. Makes pretty much anything that the FMS controls - useless. I just watched a beautiful flight in the Phenom 300 from FS Mania, and his knobs worked effortlessly in FSX.
