EMB505 Phenom 300 HD Series for FSX | P3D

I just remarked a strange behaviour of the PFD: When selecting NAV 1 on Bearing 1 and NAV 2 on Bearing 2 on the PFD you should normally get two arrows indicationg the directions of the selected VOR's. But when the NAV1 unit does not receive a valid signal, either because the beacon is too far or the frequency selected is not available where you are flying, the NAV2 arrow (the double-lined arrow) also disappears, even if the frequency is set to a valid nearby beacon. I checked on F1 Beech 200 and of course this flaw doesn't exist. Maybe some people could check if you meet the same problem. I have FSX and the Navigraph version installed. Phil

I remarked that a number of things are not working correctly on the MFD: 1) In the "Systems" pages, on the FUEL page the remaining fuel quantity is in Kilograms unit, although the label is "lb", but on the engine column on the left of the MFD it is in pounds. Modyfing the fuel unit on the "Aux" page does not change anything. 2) The ECS (environmental control systems) page seems to be completely static. The bleed valves do not open on the diagram when the bleed switches are on. 3) On the STATUS panel, the hydraulic pressure remains at zero with Nr 2 engine running and the hydraulic pump on. You need to have Nr 1 engine running to get hydraulic pressure. Neverth…

Looks like a double post. Avsim hiccupped. I came across this 2015 model with deep blue and silver colors based in Toronto and it is for sale. Looked like a keeper. I wanted to get the real deal but it was North of $8 Million US so I will stick with the Carenado edition a while longer. This one needs the silver stripe extended up to the top of the vertical stabilizer and a wax job. Maybe it will be completed in a day or so. Regards, Ray

High I just bought this add on. I watched a turtorial and it looks like the stand by ADI comes on with the main battery switches but for some reason mine is not, Any ideas why? Hi folks, im trying hard to get the Navigraph portion of my Hawker and Citation to work. I tried to install it into the v3 main folder with the browse button of the installer but it won install. I checked it with a temp folder and it didnt work. It still installs into the v2.5 folder. The dll.xml is already edited and the respective Carenado folders are in v3 as well. Any ideas and help welcome. Thank you. PS: Both planes worked in v3 while still in the v2.5 airplane folder. It is just the Navigraph portion of the planes. I already did an AIRAC update. The FMS on both planes says Loading Data Base.

Hello I just purchased this aircraft. Does the Carenado 300 Phenom have reverse thrust capability when landing because I can't get it to engage? It works fine in the default learjet using my CH throttle quadrant. Looking at the exterior engine model I don't see any indication of panels that can be moved to deflect thrust. If one is new to this type of aircraft, such as I, where would one start searching to learn the steps needed to start up from cold/dark and to use the G1000? Searching YouTube ??? Thanks Jack

I'm new to the Phenom 3000, but I've had no problem with the G1000 on other planes. When I enter a flight plan I always enter my departure airport first. I then continue adding way points. Randomly, after entering a way point, it will remove the departure airport from the list, showing only the way point I added so far. I tried this with 2 different flight plans and had the same problem both times. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks to D'Andre of AirDailyX for bringing this to my attention. If you go to your Carenado aircraft download page you will not notice anything different, but you may notice the number of available downloads has increased. When you download the Extension Pack you will find that it is now v. 1.2. I haven't tried it yet, but I did install it. I bought the original Nav Pack but didn't install it because of all the problems people were having. Apparently it makes some changes to the aircraft as well, so it is recommended to uninstall and reinstall the aircraft before adding the new extension pack. I've had several instances where the landing gear will not extend after flying for a couple of hours. I've tried the "G" button on the keyboard as well as clicking my mouse over the gear lever. Nothing!! Not sure if there is somethinig I'm not setting properly during approach or if it is a bug. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!

I currently have latest version of the Phenom 300 with Navigraph extension and shooting ILS approach is still problematic. The autopilot nicely captures the localizer but then the aircraft start descending before capturing the glideslope. Approaching the final fix, I use to position the aircraft approx. 30° off the final course and slightly below the glideslope altitude. I am wondering if I have a corrupted installation or if this is still a bug which needs to be fixed by carenado. Help would be appreciated Thanks Jean Pierre

Hi, all, Tim of FS Mania, when making his tutorial/review of the Phenom 100 mentioned that he leaves the Yaw Damper alone because he can rarely disengage it, even when he turns it off, and it doesn't show up any longer on the annunciator at the top of the PFD. I noticed the same thing when using the Phenom 300. While trying to learn the tricks of Alabeo's new C400 Corvalis, I was having a similar problem. After using the autopilot I found that I had almost no rudder control on landing, something which is really noticeable in that plane because it doesn't have nose wheel steering. Hey guys, I'm trying to setup my first flight from Southampton to Geneva I have the below route from PFPX N0389F190 DCT SAM UY8 GWC UN859 ETRAT A34 LGL UN491 TABOV/N0424F430 UM163 CTL/N0389F190 B37 DJL DJL1N When trying to input the flightplan, inputting SAM VOR is fine and is entered correctly. When trying to set the UY8 airway by going under the "Load Airways" option, it doesnt seem to recognise it and it ignores the entry and clears itself. I have tried to load in the UN859 after GWC also but it also just ignores the entry. I have the latest AIRAC cycle loaded also. I am loading in airways wrong ? Thanks Dave

For those of you familiar with the G1000, you should have realized that Carenado has simplified the operation of the transponder which takes away from the innovation of this feature. Given the numerous mods for other products, I was wondering if it was possible to modify this feature to be a bit more realistic with the various options such as STBY GND ON ALT etc

Hey Guys, I've searched around but cant find where to set it to start cold and dark. Is there a setting for this to always start cold and dark? Also I have the navigraph update but not sure how to update it. I have an active subscription and have added in "Carenado - All Products" into the list and updated it but looks like its still the original. Any ideas? Thanks Dave

Hello All, After I made some serious adjustments to my settings in FSX to make this aircraft flyable, I was wondering if there are any tips out there to improve frame rates? On the Phenom 100 I removed the weather radar, and it improved FFS slightly, are there other files I can remove that wont compromise regular lite flying. Please let me know. Cheers, Jason
