Perhaps this has been suggested before, I'm not sure, or maybe it's already possible and I don't know about it, but with the import of a Simbrief FP, other information is available such as the aircraft type and takeoff weight. Could P2A use this information to 'automatically' select the 'Heavy' option when importing the Callsign in the Config menu instead of having to select this checkbox manually? Eric

If anyone knows of a .wav file that gives the "click" when you change active frequencies, I'd appreciate it. A wav radio static file to play in the background with my Ivona voices would also be appreciated.

I have problems with the radios on the Toliss Airbus in xplane 12. Two flights with the ZIBO 737, all good. In the Toliss A 319 the radio frequencies in P2ATC do not correspond with those in the cockpit or, I have the same active and standby frequency again. I can manually set the ground frequency as the standby frequency. However, after a few seconds the frequency changes to the same as the active frequency. I then changed the standby in the cockpit, which resulted in the active frequency being identical to the standby in the cockpit, but I still have two different frequencies in P2ATC. I have the database error. My PC is 3 month old. Win 11. Xplane on D, Pilot2ATC on E. I installed the latest version pilot2 ATC as admin. First i made the normal installation with SQL14. Then i desinstalled this and downloaded and installed as admin SQL 15 (2019). The SQL is in the c:\program files\Microsoft SQL Server. But in C:\Users\shage\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server Local DB\Instances\MSSQLLocalDB I find files from 2014. I made the next steps 3. Hello Dave, I would like to know what the best way would be to define the following approach into LOWI Innsbruck. I'm coming in IFR via the TULSI 3A (TULS3A) and want to make a visual approach (Special Circling Procedure) to runway 08. So you first descent along the OEV LOC then at D6.5 DME OEV turn left heading 230 degrees and follow the route as described in the chart above. How do I file this in P2A? I filed a RNAV - RW26 - R26-E approach and before I had to turn left to heading 230 I requested a visual approach rwy 08 but no reply. IFR flights. Can I set vectors to final once in the STAR?

I'm getting back into flight sim after a bit of a hiatus so I'm trying to get everything squared away. I'm having an issue in Pilot2ATC where it won't give me weather information or an altimeter setting. This is in the Fenix A320, which according to their website has a bug with receiving weather info with the MCDU. I'm wondering if that's causing the issue. I also saw a couple other threads on here about this and one of them had mention of external programs not working well with certain planes. Another possibility perhaps. It doesn't stop my flights because all the info I need is on the Fenix tablet. I'm just looking for some insight as to what might be t…

Having more fun with Pilot2ATC. I just did a flight from Phoenix to San Diego. While en-route I messed up an accidentally shut off the auto pilot. before long I was Off Course and ATC instructed me to turn to a heading. Instead of doing that I just turned on the auto pilot which made a turn toward the ATC Specified heading but not quite equal to it. Within a minute or two I was back on course with the FMS, however, Pilot2ATC kept telling me to turn to that heading. I thought at some point it would realize I was back on track but no such luck. Hello Dave Apologies if I am in the wrong place but I am really struggling to understand how to set up Multiplicity HVM mode (to be able to use its triple click to keep focus on all screens) with P2ATC. P2ATC User Guide gives a decent description on how to set up Spad.Next but only a passing comment on Multiplicity "triple click" (which only works if one has the KVM version). I was previously running Multiplicity KM (Seamless), installed as Primary, on same desktop with X-P 11 (Russ Barlow's three monitor setup), networked to P2ATC running on a laptop. I'm sort of new to this software, about a month since I bought it. I never had much of a chance to test it because 10 days isn't enough time to learn it and test. So I bought it trusting that what was advertised was correct but in fact it appears that I paid for a beta instead of a final version. I have been having all sorts of problems with it and made multiple adjustments according to what I find in the forum but more issues appear randomly. The latest is with the flight plan scattering the waypoints all over. I enter waypoints and they can be inserted at the bottom of the flight plan or at the top or anywhere it chooses. Currently going through the trial period for the latest stable version using MSFS2020. At airport after contacting ATC seems like you can pretty much do whatever you want without any complaints from ATC. Does this seem right according to the program's mission? You can pretty much take whatever route you want to whatever runway you want and do whatever you want and no controller ever says anything. Also, ATC doesn't seem to care if you read back clearances or not (not using any copilot assist). I can do touch and go's all day after cleared for takeoff and, again, no complaints. Is there an "admonishment" setting I'm missing??

Hi Dave, in some cases P2ATC has multiple runways active (as seen on the info tab), which makes sense. However I'm denied the request of another one of those once I'm given one by ATC, with the response "XXX [the one I got] is the active runway, please make another request". I think it should be possible to change the runway to one other active runway (if multiple ones are active). I know I can always do it via the APPR tab and "force arr runway", but that breaks immersion and is cumbersome. EDIT: Hm is this maybe what the "force pilot runway selection" setting does? Hi Dave, May have found an issue. I was executing a flight between CYYZ and KBOS and received the STAR instructions shortly after takeoff. I was still within the SID. I didn't get the climb step instructions. I executed the climb to FL390 regardless. ATC recovered and the rest of the flight was normal. Hello, Dave, I have now made a lot of successful flights with Pilot2ATC and X-Plane. It really makes the simulation more realistic. But I have one question. I currently have 4 different planes as favorites. If I choose another plane I have to change the configuration of Pilot2ATC every time ( Callsign, IFR/VFR, Climb rate, Sink rate, Speed ). Is there a concept for using different airplanes ? And after the question I have one more wish 🙂 In the window " P2A Com Frequency " you can adjust the volume. Hello, In order to make learning atc procedures more intresting, i'm using neofly to give me some missions, and i'm trying to make them as close to reality as possible, with vfr navlogs, fuel calcs etc. So I create a vfr plan on littlenavmap and import it to pilot2atc. But is seems that are many airfields missing (these are airstrips witout atc, I think are uncontrolled areas), so p2a dosent accepts the plan. I' ve verified these airfields with skyvector and they do realy exist, its not a neofly's imaginery airfield. Is there a way to add them to p2a database? Its not so critical as I believe I can do a vfr flight without plan on p2a(havent tried y…

As in the title, with yesterdays update P2ATC gets no more data from FSUIPC. At least on my side. This is with MSFS. EDIT: Just found out that it will connect if I start FSUIPC manually and not - as usually - with the MSFS auto start. Any idea why?

What is the cause of the ground controller giving me a taxi to runway xx after I land and had requested a taxi to parking? On my last flight, I repeated the phrase "request taking to parking" about 4 times and each time I was given a taxi instruction for a runway.

Hi all, I've been searching the forum and reading the docs searching for an answer to my weather question but haven't come across a good one. In a post from Dave last year he stated this: Posted January 22, 2023 P2A reads the last file in the real weather folder that starts with "metar". For example metar-2023-01-14-16.30.txt. That's okay but appears to indicate that P2A is reading the surface weather at the departure and perhaps the destination airports from whatever source it uses. But what about the weather aloft? Does P2A consider that weather? Thaanks

So, I have been away from simming for over a year. I fired up everything and am starting fresh with P3DV5. Hi, all/Dave, Recently P2ATC has stopped giving me weather with the announcement 'weather not currently available'. I have the option set to in game weather. I am using the latest (registered) version of FSUIPC v7.4.0 and P2A_2642_x64_with_Navigraph_1801 (with the latest Navigraph AIRAC). I am also using the latest version of MSFS 2020 (SU 14). I also use AivlaSoft EFB v2 and I can get weather from it. I am hoping some light can be shed on the situation as it is really affecting the immersion (can't fly without P2ATC tbh). Thanks much.
