Good morning, I am using the trial version of PILOT2ATC. I encounter a problem that I cannot solve on XPLANE 12. it is impossible for me to change the COM1 frequency. this frequency displays 00 despite my attempts. I have a navigraph subscription which updates Pilot2atc. Frequencies appear fine on the list of available frequencies but when I want to use them, COM1 reverts to 00. I don't have this problem on MSFS or everything works fine Thanks for your help.

Hi Dave, I know you are busy, so if it's nothing obvious, don't spend too much time on it. Maybe it's user error. I am trialling v.2.7.0.0_x64_Beta7G3b and trying to fly a route (planned on P2A) from KHVN to KJFK ILS RW31L PARCH2 STAR in the stock Cessna CJ4 on up to date MSFS2020 PC Game Pass version. I don't have NG so not on current AIRAC cycle. All goes well and I arrive at JFK VOR and am vectored towards ZACHS for the approach. Then for some reason before I get anywhere near ZACHS I am vectored to course of 315. This takes me back over JKF and continues to vector me 5 degrees left or right for over 80NM (until I flew into a hill in Delaware State Fore…

Dave, courtesy check where this topic is in your priority stack. So little room for error when connecting to the tower on an RNAV or ILS approach. I look at the log file trying to troubleshoot phrasing on my own. The only safe bet is "...with you..." Please and thank you.

Hi there, I am trying to update the names of the New Zealand TMA and Enroute controllers as it is all wrong in here. I assume I am running into some sort of bug, as I cannot for the life of me find how I can rename them. Please see below error and advise if this is the cause: When I click ok, more come up but this error happens basically any time I click. I had a number of issues getting the software installed due to running Windows 11, so perhaps this is related to those issues.

Hi, Having an issue where the ARTCC centres are all showing No cltr. ARTCC Problem Does anyone have a working bvcf.bgl.xml file I can use to reimport? I don't think there is any other work around atm. Thanks

DAVE, I have been using p2atc for many years. I recently installed win11. I have been trying to update to latest p2atc unsuccessfully. I even uninstalled it. Now i cant install a new copy. It downloads and I unzip it but does not install. Please advise. Thank you

Hi Dave I use Pilot2ATC in every flight and generaly I do not use AUTOPILOT but I decide to use this menu. I discovered that it gave me exactly the functions Speed ALt HDG etc and it display it on my old VR insight MCDU MCP COMBO I use also Linda Program So my question is is-it complicated to attribute some keys from Keyboard to this menu as you made with Btns menu Another question how do you read these functions? Reason I try to use some Lvars or Offset from FSUIPC7 (Speed:0X07E2, or HDG:0X07CC, orALT:0X07D4) but with it does not worksit depends of plane for example Fenix read your value🙏 but I cannot use Offset Fscuip7. Hi Dave, I don't know if this has been asked before but I've often thought of it. In fact every time I use the Frequency drop down menu I wonder if it'd be possible to add a double click on the desired frequency to bring it up to the COM 1 position rather than inserting it in STBY only to have to then go down and click the COM 1 window to transfer the frequency. It'd be a nice feature IMO. Single click to STBY position, double click right into active COM 1.

Hi Dave, Yesterday I did a transatlantic flight with P2A using Beta 7F and had a few small issues. Note for the flight I had the copilot respond to the radios. When I was taxiing and had to cross a runway, I said "Callsign ready to cross runway XX", and was told to hold short, which the copilot responded "Hold short runway XX, Callsign", all as expected. However, after acknowledging the command to hold short, the program said something to the effect of "Callsign, this is Ground, please state your request", and in the log (line 281) it shows "Invalid Phrase Detected2: Hold short Runway Two Five Right LUFTHANSA Four Three Zero HEAVY; 10/07/2023 09:14:45". Does anyone have a sec to see if they can get a response from SALT LAKE Center on 133.6 sitting at the Bryce Canyon airport? CEDAR City Radio 122.2 and the Bryce Canyon UNICOM 122.8 work, but I can't pick up an IFR clearance. Please and thank you. I did not do a takeoff and see if I get them at a higher altitude.

Dont know if Dave is often (ever?) in these forums but I would like to suggest the ability for P2A to be able to read the airline and flight number from Simbreif. Just a thought. thanks

I know this used to work, but for some reason running into a problem today with it. Using 2.6.4.2 with MSFS 2020, GA flight. Simbrief loaded flight plan. The flight plan validates and loads fine. When I contact Center to request IFR clearance, I get no response. I do have two errors in the trace log file. Not sure if they're significant or a red herring. I am using the speech assistant function and not speaking myself. I've been experimenting with Chatter on P2A and have been downloading mp3 files from liveatc.net. I organized the files via Airports. The file order goes; Pilot2ATC_2021_x64\ Sounds\ Chatter\ ATC_Chatter\ US\ 31 Airport ICAO codes\ Clr, Gnd, Twr, Dep, App\ mp3 files. Then, I made a "Ctr" folder in the main US folder and put mp3's in it for Center controllers. My issue is that I have recordings from every US center and I can't find a way to play the correct corresponding center. I could be flying in Indianapolis Center and hear NY center recordings. Another issue is that recordings at airports always play in the same order even when the shuffle setting is turned on. I woul…

Hi, I'm trying to request direct to a specific waypoint on the IFR plan by requesting "[callsign] request clearance direct to whiskey alpha lima" as has been suggested previously in this forum, but the response I get is something along the lines of "[callsign] this is london center on [frequency]" and nothing further. I tried to find the correct phrase in sayit help but it doesn't appear. Am I missing something? Running the latest beta from the website Thanks

I see that there is 1 other thread about AI Voices, but very little discussion about the possibility of adding AI Voices to P2ATC. Would it be that difficult?

Beta 7e, released on 9/23/2023, contains a useful folder within its "Documentation" section of the Pilot2ATC version 2.7 download - where P2A's user manuals are currently found. Hello folks, I am looking for some very simple advice on how to taxi and request departure in pattern on a VFR flight. I thought I could just dial in the ground frequency to ask for taxi clearance and the the tower for the departure clearance, however I get no response. I know that the system can hear me as I get a response when I call tower or ground. I am at EGPD and using Beta E. What am I missing? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks..

I have recently upgraded to X-plane12 and had the older version of P2ATC working but in order to get weather I upgraded to the latest Beta, 2.7.0.0X64_Beta 7E I also downloaded more Voices from Microsoft but have English US at the top of the list. When I open Pilot2Atc I see the correct version in the window title bar and can connect to X-plane but the Speech Assistant Window dropdowns are empty. The Grammar Helper seems to work OH providing all of the phrases, but Not the Speach Assistant at the bottom right of the main window. I cant see anything in the troubleshooting document Can you suggest what I may have done wrong? Thanks

Using XPlane 12 with Windows 11 and everything worked as usual obtaining ATIS all the way until approaching Runway 25. There was no hand over to the tower controller approaching the hold short line of the runway. Instructed ground that I was holding short of runway 25 and was handed over to the tower controller. Called the tower with the phrase ready for departure runway 25 and was handed back to the ground controller for taxi instructions. Tried using Just say it with the same results. Just kept getting transferred back and forth between Ground & Tower controllers and was unable to obtain a takeoff clearance. I couldn;t figure out how to attach me log file …
