Hi there. Just got Pilot2Atc and am absolutely loving it. First question: I see you can bind a hotkey/joystick input/button to the functionality to turn on/off the your automatic co-pilot handling the responses. But this also turns off them handing the switching of the radio, which most of the time I wish to keep one but not the other. Is there a way to decouple this functionality or perhaps even have two different inputs, one for each? Second question: There is no feedback given to see which state the co-pilot is in, auto respond or ignore. You have to manually keep track of when you hit the button, which of course is double as hard if you hit the button by mis…

Several times now while filing my flight plan for an IFR flight I will get a squawk code that would be appropriate for an IFR flight. Then I taxi to the runway and upon getting takeoff clearance from the tower, the last instruction will tell me to squawk code 1200. I've always thought 1200 was strictly VFR. Anyone else getting this?

Hi, I have ongoing issues with P2ATC seemingly not responding to requests etc. I posted another topic where I thought it was losing connection with X-Plane but I don't think that's the issue. So 2 issues for example: Yesterday all was fine until I got to the hold short point and informed to switch to tower which I did but then no response despite the correct frequency - the co-pilot failed to switch frequency so I had to do it, I tried using SayIt but the relevant phrases for that frequency were not shown so no good, even when restarting P2ATC and reloading nothing worked. So had to abandon the flight. I did another flight later that day and all was fine. …

Good afternoon, Hoping to get some help with this. Just reinstalled Pilot2ATC and am getting this error every time it launches. "Unable to initialize Database Object reference not set to an instance of an object." I've tried clean reinstalling a couple times as mentioned elsewhere but it keeps coming back.

Fairly new to PATC and it's been working OK. Lately there are connection problems. Using X-Plane 11:55 in Windows 10. So for example, I connect PATC in the usual way and I start to get ATIS - I them import a Simbrief flightplan, set the SID/STAR validate and file. All the time the ATIS is playing but I cannot change frequency using my radio panel and nothing else works in PATC. I restart and try again but sometime it connects then just seems to stop working. I uninstalled XPUIPC and reloaded it but no difference. Don't seem to be able to post log file here. Anyone have a clue here? Thanks Dave

Hello from the Czech Republic! I am flying in MSFS with NeoFly 4 career and using Sky4Sim, but nothing else. I was really excited when I found out about Pilot2ATC because the default sim ATC was incredibly irritating. I am flying in sims for couple of years but I am newbie when it comes to ATC communication. I was willing to pay the full price, but firstly, I wanted to test it to see if it's truly worth it, and according to forums, it really is. However, my personal experience was really frustrating. Now, as I am at the end of the trial period, I really want to know if I was doing something wrong or if it is just the state of Pilot2ATC. Missing airport…

Traffic Global has been updated to 1.1.0.171 for XP. I can see the traffic on the X-Plane 12 map, but P2ATC is no longer showing anything on its map with Airbourne and Ground traffic turned on. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

I have a friend who is married to a Mac Studio platform. i really want him to experience Pilot2ATC, but of course it is incompatible. He has tried allocating resources to run XP and P2A, but it is not working. Can anyone help?

Hi guys! Recently I installed an evaluation copy of p2atc both in my laptop and PC. I tested the software in X=plane 11 first with a grounded aircraft to get used to the program and then set mic and headset and it seems all fine and working until i made my first flight. Tested with Zibo mod B737 and Jardesign A320 and both planes and in both computers boy they are all messed up, they are incontrollable now. Zibo disconnects autopilot Speed, knobs won't work and manual throttle becomes inestable with a bunch of alarms alerting. I added a Microsoft voice but didn’t like the voice, deleted in registry, but the voice (name) remains in the Pilot2ATC drop down box. Doesn't affect anything, anyway I can delete it. David

After updating my AIRAC using the Navigraph FMS Data manager to 2307 and starting Pilot2ATC the AIRAC cycle is coming up as 2101. I decided to uninstall Pilot2ATC along with my original folder on my C drive and reinstall a new full version restarted Pilot2ATC and the AIRAC came up as 1801 which is what I expected. I exited out of Pilot2ATC when back into the Navigraph FMS Data Manager manually pointed the update to the new folder created and upon reopening Pilot2ATC it is still reading AIRAC 2101. The current AIRAC is 2307 so I'm not sure if it has been updated. Please let me know if anyone else is experiencing this issue or how I can correct something on my end if I…

Hi guys I'm having issues with P2A, my AIRAC cycle has reverted back to 2101. Navigraph FMS Data Manager says I've updated to 2307 rev1. Ive uninstalled / reinstalled P2A but am having the same issue. Any Ideas? I was hoping to get a long haul flight in today. Thanks Louise

Hello Everyone, I'm currently on day 8 of 10 day trial. For the most part I have only 3 issues. The one issue I noticed yesterday, due to ATC asking me to expedite my climb to a certain flight level which my Altitude tape showed I was already at the correct FL, in this case FL220. AP was also set for FL220 and EFIS was set to Standard. Glancing at the altimeter in the P2A window it still showed 29.92 and the altitude showing was FL21.565 which was 565 feet below what my PFD tape was showing. Not sure why this happened. Today the Barometric pressure from ATIS was 29.65 so on my EFIS I set 29.65, however the pressure setting in P2A did not change so I had t…

Grrr = I had a problem with MSFS and during the troubleshooting I had to remove Navigraph. After solving the issue I reinstalled Navigraph and updated it accordingly with latest AIRAC. (AIRAC 2307 rev1) Then I launched MSFS and Little Navmap and finally Pilot2ATC when I noticed that only P2A had an old AIRAC cycle. So I updated it through FMS Data Manager but it didn't apply. I removed P2A from the Data Manager, restarted it and rescanned. It found P2A no problem so I tried applying the latest AIRAC again - same issue. Then I tried adding the folder to my AV exception list. Still no joy. So then I tried manually selecting the root folder (E:\Games\Pilot2…

Is there logic in Pilot2ATC for handling parallel runways? For example, KFCM… runway 10R and 10L. Normally you would be given 10L by tower if you are approaching VFR from the North and 10R if you are approaching from the South for a VFR approach. Is that in Pilot2ATC or do we have to request a specific runway to simulate it?

I've has to reinstall P2atc but I cant update the airac. The Fms manager is pointed to Pilot2ATC_2021_x64 but when I look in the folder the Cycle_info text doesn't update but when I click on the Cycle.json folder it shows the latest airac. What am I doing wrong? Never had this issue before. Thanks.

I have P2ATC working well on my Prepar3d Version 5 for a while and constantly been keeping it up to date with the betas. Last week, I installed P3d Version 6 and it seems to be the version I will work with (after I figure out how to integrate Orbx scenery) I have yet to fire up Pilot2ATC and get it working with Version 6. Is there anything I should do? I have placed Make Runways in the LM P3d V6 folder and run that. What next? Aussie

Hi Flying XP12 few weeks now and no issues so far, installed Pilot2ATC yesterday on trial and works fine (I really enjoy it), however, seems the XUIPC plugin blocks nose wheel steering (didn't assign any keys in Pilot2ATC that matched the steering on/off in XP12), moved the XPUIPC 2.0.2.0 plugin to desktop and reloaded XP12 and the nose wheel steering works again. Dear All, I use MSFS2020 to simply fly (VFR) between smaller airports in the UK. I never fly anything other than GA, and gain pleasure from simply finding an airfield then flying to another airfield (at around 2500ft) to watch the scenery below. These flights are often just direct from A to B, not following VOR or avoiding other airspace etc. I like the experience to be "realistic", but am not a pilot and not willing to invest the time and effort to do everything exactly "by the book". I want it to be enjoyable not mentally too demanding, after all is a hobby, not a career choice! I love P2ATC, as it adds such a massive level of emersion. My problem is …

Hello everyone, I have downloaded Make Runways and would like to use it with pilot 2 atc in order to have more accurate taxi instructions with some of my airports. The problem I have is that when I put my root folder in the taxi maintenance tab and click on "import", I keep receiving a message saying "Be sure you have run MakeRunways and the output files t5.csv and g5.csv are in the designated folder". Does that mean some files are missing from my version of MakeRunways or is there something else I need to do for it to work? I am a bit confused. Thanks for your help. Martial

Dave, I cannot get p2atc(2.6.4.1) to connect with CJ4. I have looked everywhere for tutorials that will solve this problem but nothing is working.
