Dave, I've been using P2ATC networked on a separate PC since 2016. Trying to move from XP11 to XP12 and bottom line the XPUIPC XPWideClient is broken in XP12 and causes a CTD. Apparently the original author is working on a new version, but I'm not hopeful. Have you thought about adding basic sim/dataref connectivity to your XPLink traffic plugin so we can ditch XPUIPC altogether? Thanks for a great product! Ken

Tried the latest beta last night. All fine except it seems the controller is ignoring the minimum runways I've defined in the config page. When assigning takeoff/landing runway it just picks any despite length. Thanks

Hi Dave, Has the command "Established on final" changed with latest version? Before, when asked to call when established, I was saying "Tower, [Callsign], established on final". With latest version, it is not recognized at all. Has the grammar changed for this command? Thanks, Fabrice

I have been experiencing issues whereas P2A fails to fully connect to the Aerosoft CRJ. I do not load P2A until the flight is fully loaded in the sim, but when I push the CONNECT button, I get the panel messages saying it is connected, and my call sign is shown but the button doesn't turn green nor the PWR button although the Master Battery is on. I've been having this problem intermittently but this morning I can't get it to work at all even after 3 complete FS shutdowns and starting whole process over. Any suggestions? My next step is going to be restarting the PC to see if something is stuck somewhere.

Hello, I downloaded Pilot2ATC recently and it looks like a really great programme. Unfortunately I'm not able to use the voice recognition aspect at all, due to the speech recognition software on Windows. I have a pretty strong northern English accent, which Windows clearly finds utterly incomprehensible. I've been through the training programme several times, tried it in both English-UK and English-US and even set it to 'recognise non-native accents', but to no avail. The problem is definitely with Windows and not Pilot2ATC because if I open a Word document and try to dictate anything I get gibberish. And its definitely my accent because it's word with lots o…

I am using Pilot2ATC v.2.7.0.0_x64_Beta6D with X-Plane, both for IFR and VFR. Great program! I have the problem, that in Germany this year the controller names of smaller airports are changing from INFO to RADIO. I have the ATC Settings "Info Acts as Tower" activated. Is working fine for INFO frequencies, but not for RADIO. Examples are EDWR and EDXP where the names are already changed. The job of the controllers is still the same. Question 1: Is it possible to also make an option for RADIO acts as Tower during the running Beta? Question 2: Where does P2A get the names and frequencies for the airport controllers from? When I push the ptt button it takes about 6 seconds before the microphone (or Pilot2ATC) can pick up my voice. The same problem exist when i mouseclick ptt in the grammerhelp training session, so the ptt button on the yoke seems not the cause. When i use the microphone in Windows speech recognition it picks up my voice immediately. Who can help me?

I am trying to leave VATSIM for my flights for the following reaons : 1:Empty Airports, 2: Baby coming soon 3: Lack of trafic 4: Lotsm of uncontrolled airspace Therefore I'm more looking in injected Trafic (FSLTL) and the best immersion possible (I know that is possible even offline) So I started trying P2A, but since I only have 9 remaining days, no time to loose in order to see if the product is for me or not. Hi guys, i am running very often into a situation, where based on Traffic Global airport flows, i need to change the arrival runway vs. what p2atc has planned for me. As p2atc does not see the TG flows, i need to help it out. So usually i ask for changearrivalrunway and sometimes i actually do get a new SID and runway. Sometimes i simply get ignored and nothing happens. Then i usually ask for vectoris for ILS for this new runway. Sometimes this works, but sometimes (happend just now) i get ignored and receive no reply at all. As this just happend again, i do have a log that i could share. Today. Downloaded beta 6D and fired up my usual MSFS scenario. Got clearances, then heard the disconnect/reconnect audible tones from Windows. No radio connection to tower or clearance or ground In P2A I did a disconnect and reconnect. Reloaded the flight plan from SimBrief Redid the clearance and soon heard the disconnect/reconnect tones; again no radio connection Looked at the logs and nothing found to indicate an issue I went back to beta 6C and no issues

I am running a networked P2ATC with X-P 11 which was working very well until updating P2ATC to 2.6.2.3 X64_R2. Address from P2ATC to X-P 11 "Output - FMS" director correctly set and working. Any suggestions for trouble shooting this would be appreciated. RobD

I'd like to get this software for a single purpose; I'd like to open the software in mid flight, load flightplan from simbrief, and ask the ATC to vector me for ILS approaches. This is for the times that i have difficulties understanding the charts for certain approaches. Is this possible? Thanks Cheers Hadi

I updated to the latest Beta version and everytime I'm getting handed off to a new controller I'm being asked to repeat my last transmission, as it switches controllers the sentence doesn't complete but its a bit annoying! I am using text only and its happening in MSFS.

Hi Dave I've migrated my set up to XP12 and currently moving over all the apps....and just finished with P2ATC and works OK, so far... BUT on starting the app I have a BLANK 2DPANEL. Checking thro the app cannot find where this originates... hummm. Any ideas or is a bug? Cheers Nik

I have installed FSUIPC7 and PILOT2ATC and NaviGraph and its data, according to the instrutions I found, although those instructions do not appear to be the same everywhere, but still, it looks like each of the programs works on its own. But, when I really want to start MSFS2020, and I have entered the necessary data for a small flight plan, 'connect' doesn't seem to work. What could be the reason? For example, should the programs all be in one folder, which I did not do, but in 3 separate folders, or is the order of installation of the programs important, or do special settings need to be adjusted in one or the other program? Hello everyone Has it ever happened to you that in mid-flight when you exchange the screen from the simu to Pilot2atc, the latter remains completely blank except the map? You only see the pictures but all white and you can't select anything with the mouse, I can't even exit the program and after a while it fixes itself. I have a Ryzen 3600, gtx1070 and 32gb of ram. I have combed the internet and this forum about this and am shocked that I am apparently the first to report that a flight plan built with P2A and then exported simply cannot work correctly once it gets loaded by the World Map in MSFS. The reason is P2A has no capability (that I know of, hope I'm wrong) to specify a parking spot at the end points. The DepartureLLA that P2A creates is interpreted as a "custom" waypoint by World Map and insanely elevates that way point about 1,000' in the air! Several VFR and IFR example flights, showcasing Pilot2ATC communications, have been added to the documentation folder, starting with V2.7.0 beta 6. The flight files are in the .PDF format and can be found in the main Pilot2ATC root directory/Documentation/Flight Scenarios folder. The example flights cover general aviation communication with ATC, along with proper procedures into and out of controlled and uncontrolled airports. I am new to Pilot2ATC and currently trying it out during the trial period. I am running it on an IMac Pro using Windows 10 on Bootcamp. I am using the most current version of 11.55 of x plane 11. I have set AI to zero and have the box use XP 11.5x traffic checked and installed the xplane xp-link plugin to my x plane 11 root directory. The Slow XP Link is unchecked. I have left the IP address at 127.0.0.1 since I am running xplane and Pilot2ATC on the same computer. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated!
